Lorex Eco Stratus HD allows you to connect to Lorex Eco DVRs featuring the exclusive Lorex Stratus Connectivity service. Lorex Stratus Connectivity allows you to view your cameras on your mobile phone using a simple 3 step setup process. Simply download the app, scan the QR code on the top of your DVR and enter the password to connect to your system. No complicated port forwarding or network configuration is required.
The app allows you to:
- View live video from multiple cameras.
- View recorded video saved on your DVR hard drive.
- Save snapshots and video directly to your device.
- Control PTZ cameras from your phone or tablet.
Prerequisites:
- iOS 6.0 and higher supported.
- High-speed Internet access and a router (not included) are required. Please note that an upload speed of 1Mbps is recommended for the best video performance.
- Connect your DVR to your router using an Ethernet cable.

What is up? Get the app updated!!
I purchased this security system three years ago. It works fine from within my home since. I always was able to monitor the cameras from my iPad and cell phone. Now for about a month it states that Lorex does not use the iOS 11. I just called Lorex. It needs to be updated through Lorex.... I know this has been a problem for several months and still Lorex hasn’t updated the app....? Uhh let’s get this done Lorex.....keep up with the updates... so you can get 5 stars!

Obsolete after 1 year of purchase
I bought these cameras and about a year later they are obsolete. I understand technology keeps advancing but at least the company should support the product a few years after being obsolete. At least update this APP so I can use my cameras. I will not be purchasing Lorex again. Do NOT waste your money.

Updates to the app
When will this take place, I am unable to get access to my devices because of the outdated version of this app, is there a status or time line to accomplish this, it has been quite a while.

When I purchased this product back April, the app was highly unreliable. However, for the last few months, it's been working like a champ and connects every time. Perhaps some updates have been made to the app in recent months. I'm giving it 4 stars since it was useless 6 months ago.

Works Great!!!
Disregard all the negative reviews, the app works great it you follow the instructions on how to use it. I was also frustrated at first until I read the instructions located in the settings/help (settings is the gear like icon on the bottom left side).

Does not work with iOS 11 on miniiPad
I use my iPad 24/7 at home, but now I can’t monitor my 8 cameras because that App has not been update to work on an iPad mini... The App did its job while it worked on iOS 10, works fine on the iPhone 7 Plus so far. No complaints. That is why it’s a 3, it needs to work across all my devices.

Doesn’t work with IOS 11
I have this system for about 3 years and it has always worked great from my cell or iPad app until IOS 11. So frustrating to have a security system that doesn’t keep up with the times. Lorex keep your updates to keep app functioning and customers coming back. As of now I would not buy another Lorex system just because of this problem.

Junk! And they don't care!
The app works about 40 percent of the time! I have emailed lorex and no reply! They just don't seem to care! Some companies would answer people's questions or comments, not lorex! You have several apps and non of them are above 3 stars! Just crap!!!!! Spend your money somewhere else, and with a company that seems to care what they costumers think! Never purchase another lorex product ever again!!!!!

Needs a total rewrite and will stop working soon.
The app is so old it throws an iOS warning stating the developer needs to update the app and it will slow down the device. It is also not 64-bit compatible which means it will not even be compatible with iOS 11 this fall. The UI is also pretty bad and nerds a general redesign for better usability.

Doesn't work
So frustrating this app doesn't work and I'm now getting messages from Apple that this app will not work with future operating system updates. PLEASE update this app so we are able to remotely check our cameras - this is a SECURITY system after all. Would NEVER have purchased this camera security system had I known the customer service and app were so pathetically deficient.
