Ignore the review about the “terrible” controls. This is how the actual REAL LIFE physics of LEMs work. I am a big nerd for physics simulators (KSP, Simple Rockets, Space Simulator, etc.) and immediately downloaded this game (glad that there is a test run in the form of the ‘lite’ version). I quickly became familiar with the concept, and I LOVE the challenge of the realistic physics, and having to balance main descent thrust to fight gravity, and also use the RCS to counteract the rotation to land safely.
The only criticism I can offer is that, I too, feel that the dialogue can be slow moving, and it would be nice to have the option to skip it on retries. I also like the idea of re-fueling stations, on the surface (perhaps 1 station per level, and maybe a trade off between refueling, and stars achieved, for more of a challenge?). I hope that the dev will make a larger sequel that incorporates more vehicles, and also the concept of atmospheric exit and re-entry, so that the player will have the varied experience of atmospheric drag vs. the vacuum of a typical lunar body, that is the main concept, in this game.
To the dev - keep up the great work, and I will certainly buy more of your apps! This game is an 11 on a scale of 1-10, as far as I am concerned. Thanks for giving me something to do during pandemic isolation! ❤️
