Good for what it does, minus the ads.

It does what it was created for which is to make the drafts for comics it has a few tools to use which keep the user from getting distracted, which is good. Honestly it does help to make the pages fast.

Though I have to agree with a couple of people about the ads on this one, which takes up the screen . Honestly I would just pay for the thing, so I wouldn’t get be pestered by the ads when I leave the name document. Unfortunately there is no option for that which isn’t good.

Simple and easy to use but needs some work

I love how I can start drawing without going through many loops, and that the interface is intuitive. However I want to interfere with iCloud and have ApplePencil only mode where my finger does nothing.

good try, but could be better

Ok, I like the idea that this app give me chance to draw the draft before I have to draw them with so many details.
But. It needs lots of updates.

First is you need to have the landscape page since sometimes we may need to spread.

Second is the paper background option please add a Auxiliary line that can divided the page into 3. 3 is a common divider setting for manga too.

The third is the square tool and the line tool both need to be able to micro adjust the shape and location and the line thickness. Specially if you are not considering multi layer function on this.

And the last thing is PLEASE come up something to shut down the ads. I am willing to pay to shut down the ads in MediBang paint, I will be willing to pay to close this ones ads.

Please consider them.

Pretty good for what it sets out to do

What people don’t realize is that this app is for DRAFTING. Just figuring out how you want the comic to be. And for that, it works quite well. It’s made just for quick unfinished rough sketches that you can then take into a more robust art program to make the finished comic page. The box, line, and circle tools are great for placing quick panels. Only things I would like to see added for it to be perfect is layering and the ability to rotate the canvas.

There are a lot of problems

I agree with a lot of the other people here, I needs to have a color week, you should be able to turn it side ways, most important thing to me would be layers, the straight line tool and square tool are bit finicky, opacity for the pencil would be nice, and in the end I would rather use FlipaClip or do it traditionally than use this with all it’s problems I hope they update it soon.

It’s fine

It’s ok but there are definitely things you could improve on like a color wheel would definitely be helpful and it would be nice if you could make layers and a better ability to zoom in. I would love this app if it had that, other than that it’s fine but please consider making these changes

I’ll pay, pls GET RID OF THE ADS

I’ve used this app for years, as this is pretty much the only app on iOS exclusively for panel/name making. I’ve always enjoyed its barebones structure and ease of use. All of sudden there are giant ads every time I close a page??? Is this for real??? It interrupts workflow so much so that now I can’t use it.
I’ll gladly purchase this app, as long as you get rid of this ridiculousness. Please please fix this. This is insane.

Awesome but could be better

I really liked this app it helped me a lot with the manga I am writing but there was a few thing that could better like layering the pages.

Could have more options

I like the stamps and simplicity of the app but they need the option of being able to buy/upgrade more colors and a circle stencil.

Used to be good, now it’s awful

This app used to be great for doing rough comic layouts with text, then of course they added ADs. FULL SCREEN ADs.?! Ugh.

Then they added a nice feature to skip the ads by clicking the “X” in the top right corner as the ad played. Even though they were full screen it was easy to skip.

However, they’ve undone that and now they’re FULL SCREEN ADs that you CANNOT SKIP. It’s absolutely awful.

PLEASE FIX THIS MEDIBANG!!! This app has clearly just become an empty space for them to collect ad revenue on.

This is insulting to users.
