Benefits in your pocket! This app gives you easy access to your Medcom benefits anywhere, anytime. Use the same username and password that you setup on Medcom’s online portal! Just download, login, and go!

View all of your benefit account(s) recent transactions, balances, election information, claims filing deadlines, and more. You may also view transactions that require receipt documentation that may need to be submitted.

Additional features include opting in/out to receive alerts via text messaging, email, or both! These alerts could include information when your debit card has been mailed, when your password to the portal/mobile app has been reset, card transaction denials, and more.

Your security is the number one priority for Medcom. We use pictures and passphrases, along with device identification and challenge questions to protect your information. None of your personal information is stored on your mobile device.

Medcom App
The Medcom App is a highly efficient time saver. Everything I need is right there at the tip of my fingers. It allows me to see my transactions as well as the status of each transaction. When a transaction is pending, all I have to do is take a picture of the receipt and submit. Quick, easy and very user friendly.

Good but...
The app works fine but I wish it would keep you logged in when you switch to another app to check something with intention of returning to the app. As soon as you minimize it, the app makes you log back in. Even my banking app does not do that. Why does this have to be tighter security?
Also, the function that allows you to select a current photo from your camera roll for a receipt only allows about 1/2 the picture screen to be captured in IOS. This unfortunately causes some of the needed receipt information to be cut off.

Terrible
My employer switched over to Medcom probably because it’s cheaper and I have never had so many issues. The app is just like the website so why bother. I have had an FSA card for four years and have never had an issue with it and it’s only 1/14!!! My plan started on 1/1...and all I’m trying to do is order contacts. So not only did it take two weeks for my contacts to finally ship, but now they are telling me without proper documentation I will have to repay them for my contacts because they were not approved. Whatever, I’m canceling my card after this, I would rather pay thousands out of pocket than deal with this for a whole year.

Pretty Good App
I wasn’t really too sure on what to expect from the mobile app. After installing it, I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I’m able to see all recent transactions and view what may have been declined and why.

Not user friendly at all.
I can’t stay logged in & I can never find the info I need. Ex. I get an email requesting more info but the app shows everything as paid - requiring no action. I always have to call to figure out what is going on. And maybe it’s just me but nothing I’m looking for is where I’d expect to find it. It’s like my kids organized the app. Very frustrating all around to say the least. I find 24hr flex easier to use & their customer service is much nicer & more willing to help.

Horrible interface with MedCom
The app works however it may be the company’s lack of technical ability to process claims. Have tried to submit a claim 3 times and the app doesn’t allow you to write notes or get notes on status from the company. It could just be horrible customer service or the application doesn’t capture the needed information. Regardless, there is an issue and the company has zero interest in providing good service.

Can not use to submit reimbursement for aftercare
Submitted several forms for my 3 children’s camp, which didn’t include their ages ( why would they) and was told I needed to add their ages in the Notes section, which doesn’t exist and I now have to resubmit everything hoping this next round will work. I hate this app, I dread this time of year where I spend hours submitting forms and getting denied because the app isn’t smart enough to provide feedback or error messages. Worst app.

Doesn’t always save uploaded receipts
I’m having the same issue over and aver where I upload a picture of a receipt the day I use my debit card. I confirm that the picture is uploaded and linked to the expense but then a couple days later I’m asked for the receipt and when I check the receipt is gone. VERY INCONVENIENT AND FRUSTRATING!

Wouldn’t get if I had the option
The app doesn’t always save claims even after the “success” page. Unable to upload full pages of receipts, it has to be broken up into two pictures and then rejected.
