Description

Mood Tracker / Year in Pixels / Diary / Habits / Gratitude Journal / Routines / Photo Album / Sleep - Everything you need to improve your mental health in only ONE app.

Moodflow is a FREE app that captures your emotions, moods, thoughts, and general well-being. Also, Moodflow goes along with you throughout your life, and gives you a more profound understanding of yourself, not previously known to you. Ultimately, this will allow you to improve your mental health and help you become a better you.

## HOW DOES MOODFLOW WORK? ##
You do not even need to write anything down to get a meaningful insight or to keep a diary.

This is how easy Moodflow works:
Fill out a quick survey every day and gain insight into the WHAT and HOW it influences you over time.

◆ 1. Pick a rating for the day from 1 to 5.

◆ 2. Pick the emotions you experienced.

◆ 3. (optional) Write a note about everything relevant from the day.

◆ 4. (optional) Pick the activities you were involved in.

◆ 5. DONE!

## WHAT WILL THIS DATA DO FOR ME? ##
As time goes by, these short entries will gather insightful data about yourself that you will be able to analyze in many ways. On the one hand, a Calendar will be filled with colors that reflect your emotional well-being. This will allow you to get an eagle-eye perspective on your life that you never had before. On the other hand, Moodflow comes with data-analyzing tools, that will help you find relationships between a plethora of different factors and your mood. Moodflow will help you understand yourself better by allowing you to identify the things that bring you up or those that pull you down.

## WHAT ELSE CAN MOODFLOW OFFER? ##
Additionally, Moodflow encourages you to develop better habits by including 28-day challenges. These challenges have different levels of difficulty and will ensure that you create simple but powerful habits. As some have claimed: "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is therefore not an act, but a habit".

More features? We have them!

DaliClocks,
Really love this app
I really love how I can see a calendar view of the month, with gradient colors showing my mood fluctuations for the day! I also love all the graphs and that I can set them to show for the week or month, and that there are weather, sleep, and physical activity tracker. I believe this app is going to help greatly in identifying the patterns of my mood and what triggers them to go up or down. It’s also going to really help when I report to my therapist and psychiatrist, because me sense of time is vague and my days seem to blend, so it’s hard to tell them how many days I’ve been depressed vs happy vs whatever, or what was going on that might have influenced the ups and downs. Overall, this is the best and most useful of the 3 mood tracker apps I’ve tried. I do hope more activity icons and emoticons will be added, and I think maybe a “thought/behavior challenger” or similar CBT/DBT/ACT prompt would be useful, to go along with the regular free-form journal and the gratitude journal.
msuog,
The mood tracking app I’ve been looking for!
This is the app I’ve been looking for. I downloaded every mood tracking app I could find last year and spent about 1 day on each of them before getting frustrated either by bad design, or by a lack of an important tracking feature (e.g. no way to track medications). When my psychiatrist told me about Moodflow yesterday, I downloaded it and was completely impressed and smitten. It’s free, it is visually appealing, it has all the features I could imagine included. I love that it’s there’s a way to track not only mood and journal, but also physical activity, sleep, medication, social interactions, and a gratitude journal feature.

My one wishlist item would be the ability to connect the app to other apps, such as Apple Health and Sleep Cycle, so I don’t have to put my physical activity and sleep info in manually.

I’m about to go tell everyone about Moodflow. Thank you for making this free and so accessible!
WerhanesTunes,
Super helpful
I’ve tried a few different mood tracking apps, and this is by the the most thorough. Unlike a lot of other apps like this, most of the features are free. A lot of other apps have the same stuff but you have to pay. You can add as many activities and symptoms as you want. It’s been very helpful for me as a person who has mental health struggles to add my symptoms and how severe/how much affect they have on my day. You can even add notes for what triggered the symptom and review them later. It gives you a graph of your moods, and you can clearly see the ups and downs. You rate your date 1-5, and can add individual emotions. Another feature is tracking sleep and restfulness, and it gives a graph for that too. Highly recommended this if you have mental health issues, or if you just want to track your general well-being.
St0lenFayth,
Really love it!
I’ve tried easily 10+ mood trackers in the App Store. This one is by far my favorite.

It combines all of the features that I liked about the other apps. It’s extremely fluid and customizable, making it easy to add symptoms or feelings. Speaking of, it also lets you add multiple moods to each day. This lets you track your mood throughout the day and it shows you on the calendar too! It may not seem like a lot but it’s really awesome to see the days that started off bad and got really good!

I also really like that it supports emojis because sometimes there just isn’t a word for how you’re feeling. I’ve also submitted several feature requests. The app design makes this incredibly easy to do as well.
Paranoiac Fan,
Absolutely incredible, but could use privacy settings
I love using this app to track how I’ve been feeling, and recently it’s been showing an upward trend in my mood, which probably has something to do with my increased awareness of it because of having to write journal entries. So that’s pretty neat
However, I feel as though the journal entries I write are very personal, and whenever I let someone borrow my phone (which is often) I feel like they’ll get a glimpse into my private life that I don’t want them to have. Is there any possible way to create an option to input a password upon opening the app? It’s a feature in a dream tracking app (Lucidity) that I have that makes my private thoughts feel a lot more secure, and I think it would be a good feature here.
Erin Greenberg,
Great Idea, Okay Execution
I was excited to try this app for mood tracking. I liked the gradients and the customization available. I could really make it my own and track what was important to me. And it had pretty colors! What's not to love?

However, I ran into several bugs that froze the app. Adding a new person for interactions and notes to symptoms both froze the screen, forcing me to close the app and restart. However, that meant I lost the rest of the data I entered for the entry and had to redo everything.

These are some of the key features that would make it worth paying the subscription (and take the app from just a data entry app to an insight app). I signed up for the subscription (great value!) but canceled before the trial was over. I'd love to come back if these issues get fixed, but I don't want to be stuck in frustration.
Ilovemymonkeyz,
Eye candy!
I have tried so many journaling apps and books, and have not stayed consistent with any of them because they were missing something I needed or didn’t look esthetically pleasing, and because I have ADHD and depression. I love how easy it is to use and so customizable! I love how the free version gives you pretty much everything I need and there are no ads! I used to not journal when I was in a mood, but now I’m excited to journal about every mood. I get to see my progress and learn about myself, triggers, likes, and dislikes. The challenge option for habit tracking and encouragement is the icing on the cake! I am so grateful for this app! I didn’t want to overwhelm myself, so I will try the plus version soon!
no toch m angy,
Perfect App! But One Thing…
Every time I click the analytics tab for the past few days, it shows the date for a moment and then the entire screen turns white. It’s on analytics for less than a second. It doesn’t show any data, just the date and then a white screen that I can’t click out of. I have to delete the app tab. What’s up with this and how can I fix it? It worked before.
Aside from that, I love this app. I journal every day. I recently got diagnosed with Bipolar II, and this app has really made it so easy to track my emotions without having to try to do it in my own head. I never knew how much I needed something like this until I tried it. Thank you!
Aspen394,
Best Mental Health App
I adore this app. I’ve been using it on and off since 2019, and every time I come back it gets better. I really appreciate the developer’s determination to give a good experience to anyone, meaning that the free version of this app is excellent, and the subscription if you choose to use it is very affordable. I’ve used countless mental health trackers, and this is by far my favorite. Other ones don’t always stick with me, but I always find myself coming back to this one. I would highly recommend giving this one a shot. I feel like it’s aesthetics combined with the customization, ease of use, great insights, and constantly updating features makes it a real winner.
herobutmyself,
Super Helpful
I’ve struggled a lot with recognizing my own emotions and forcing myself to see things in a “grey area” (as opposed to black and white thinking).
This app has helped me a lot to see the overall of how my day was, especially as I like to check in with myself and do a couple entries per day. The ability to pick a color scheme for the moods has been super helpful as well and has helped me think more in the ‘grey area’ seeing a day I may have thought was horrible also had some good points.
I love being able to see what I was doing when I was feeling a certain way, and I really like the fact that I can rate my interactions with different people as well.

The app has been super helpful for me, and I genuinely can’t think of a complaint other than the obvious of wanting plus features for free— but I’m extremely happy with what I’m able to do, I think it’s a lot better than anything I’ve tried before (and I do get the concept of needing to charge for certain things to keep the general app free of course).

Thank you!!!!! I love it
