dreamistar,
Great!!!
A big thing for me with any app is the layout and design-- in which this case was executed perfectly. Easy, simple, flawless, pretty!!!!! Love the colors.

What sets this app apart from other mental health apps is that it starts you off with three different ranks of mood... good, okay, and bad.... then gives you the option to go into further detail.. either by specifically selecting the moods you're feeling (which is totally customizable) or noting something down, like a little diary. Seems simple enough, but you're able to go into as much (or little) detail as you'd like.

I especially love how when you're feeling bad, it gives you the chance to think about why you're feeling a certain way, and to categorize your negative feelings... as well as offer you some tips to improve your mood or shift your focus.

I think it would be nice to add an optional forum that links different mental health specialists, therapists, and users that shares different topics, advice, or support with symptoms, stress, or just life in general. (Think like the insight page with Flo... an amazing integration of expertise with a dash of commentary from users!!!)

I'd like to be able to delete past moods, as I accidentally logged one while I wasn't paying attention (☹️!!!!). There's a lot of potential for cool new things with this app... but for now it's perfect with its minimalist and simple style. Thanks!:)
MadisonZirnheld,
So easy.
In the past, I’ve been told by mental health professionals that I should keep a diary or planner. It was always a struggle for me to remember to write in them. Since this is an app, and I always have my phone with me, it’s super easy to open up the app and note that I’m feeling bad and then see all the ways I can fix it. The only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars (and this might be me not knowing how to work it all the way yet), but I don’t see how the notes come into play if you can’t go back to a day and read them. On good days, I’d like to be able to go back and see reasons why I was happy, because, to me, at least that would give me a reason to try to be happier in the future.
Thermah,
erases my moods + confusing layout
this app used to be very cathartic for me. i used it so i had a neat place to organize my thoughts when i felt it was necessary, and for the most part this app did its job in providing a safe place for me to log my moods and track my state of mind throughout the week. it really began to benefit me in the long run, as i was able to read my past moods from time to time and see how much i've improved/grown as a person, and how i've matured in my wording, thoughts, and overall expressing my emotions through sentimental bursts and analyzing the flaws in my thinking. for the first few months i had this app, it was stellar. after a while, however, i noticed that my old moods from several months ago were nowhere to be found. the time that i'd typically be spending re-reading my old moods and reflecting on my past mindsets, i found myself frustrated with this app's confusing layout and the fact that all my moods from april were completely gone. it would be much appreciated if this can be fixed. for now i suppose i'll be using my notes app!!

ps- two great features to implement in the next update would be an 'edit' feature, so that incase a typo is made it can be easily fixed. the other feature would be a password option to lock certain notes, so that in the case that someone may be snooping around my phone, this ensures privacy. thank you!
Lovesjsharkie,
Simple and streamlined. Can improve.
I like that it’s simple. I’ve always tried to journal and I’d be able to keep it up if I didn’t get so overwhelmed with how long it takes to write it down. This solves that problem and I like that I can go back to it.

I’d love to see:
1. Password capability. This is meant to store very private material and the name of the app is not discrete. I have no problem with the name or design of the app, but the password seems like it should happen eventually
2. Editing previous moods. If I see a typo it will drive me nuts and I must fix it. Also, inaccurate/accidental moods affect reports and it’s distressing. Honestly this is the worst thing about this app and it feels like having this bad data in my log is ruining the effort I’m finally putting into myself.
3. Options for reminders. Schedules do t always allow me to log moods at the same time daily, so a day of the week option would be much appreciated.
Mishewwie,
Practically useless for someone trying to actually track their moods
I have bipolar and wanted a good mood tracker so I could track moods simply and multiple times a day. The ability to have multiple reminders a day is nice and it’s simple, but that’s about it.

There is no easy way to see a trend of your moods on a graph or in any way where you can see how time/day/date might affect your mood. You also can’t delete or edit moods which is annoying when I’ve accidentally submitted a mood before typing in a note and there’s no way to go back and add it.

The monthly mood view is literally a circle with the number of good, middle, and low moods you had the past month. No mention of dates or times, no way to see the notes.
Pryn625,
Easy to use
I like how easy it is to use this app. I set 2 reminders (morning and evening) to check on my mood. Enhancements I'd like to see to make it easier to use, easier to add entries, easier to review and export entries:

(1) Eliminate the unnecessary step that asks if I want to add a note. Present the option to add a location and note on the same page, at the same time. If the user does not want to add a note or location, they can just click done.

(2) Allow the user to edit prior entries. Sometimes I want to add or update a note but there isn't a way to do that

(3) In the reports view, you can't see the notes. You have to click on the entry one at a time to read the note text. The display should show all of the entries for the time period with the note text in the same view.

(4) Would like the ability to export the entries and note text in a usable format. Maybe a simple list with date/time, mood, tags, note text.
Jordyschmordy,
Helpful but room for growth
I honestly really like this app, it's been very helpful. The only downsides I have:

-Cant delete/edit moods: I've accidentally logged a few and wanted to go back and edit/add note but clicked too fast and wasn't able too. That happen more in the beginning and now I'm just more careful, but that would be nice.

-File type option for export: I've tried to export my weeks and it just saves it to drop box or let's me email but I can't open any of the files anywhere I save them so I'm just having to look at them and screenshot and make my own summary.
Tayyshmayy,
Great, Just Needs Editing Options
I love the app, I set reminders and it definitely helps me stay mindful and aware. The *only* thing I really have an issue with it not being able to edit or delete anything.

For example, one of my options for tasks to do when I feel bad is to call an ex. Not critical but small things like mistakes or things I no longer consider healthy, I would like to be able to take out. I'm considering deleting the app and re-downloading to try and reset those customizations.
PickyJJ,
Best Mood Tracker I've Found!
Ive checked out a lot of mood trackers, and this one is the best one for me. It is very simple to use, easy to incorporate into my day, and motivating. I love that the steps are given one screen at a time, this makes it less overwhelming. I also love all the "deets" to further describe my mood, and the ability to add my own. The icing on the cake is that it works with VoiceOver! I would definitely recommend this app to anyone struggling with mental health, or who just wants to track their mood!
10fortyEZ,
So far so good
Out of all the apps I searched for this is the best for what I specifically wanted to record. However it's lacking a few features that would really make this better.
- Option to edit/delete a mood. If it exist I haven't seen it.

- I wish the log your mood page also showed the time it was entered. Also, it'd be nice to be able to tap moods to get a quick summary of what you entered without having to go to the weekly mood page.

- Adjust how reminders can be set. Having to tap the plus/minus buttons or wait till the time I want to set a reminder is not great. If there was an option to scroll the time choices or manually enter it that would be better.

- More than 3 categories of moods

And that's about it. The only other concern is when opening and closing up the drop down menu it flickers. It only happens on that menu and no other place in the app.
