Spanish is perfect translates English to Spanish and Spanish to English with no problem I tried South Korean and my friends wife who is Korean understood me very well I also tried it with my friend from Lebanon and he understood as well so doll listen to some of the other reviews because they probably do not have the handheld device and that is why they do not like the program so far it works fine for me I am going to Greece next week and I will be taking this with me and I will give another review so far I tried it on my Greek friends and they understood also what the Machine says so I don’t understand why these reviews are so low

If you’re reading this, I hope that you haven’t already purchased the scam of a device that pairs with this app. Picture a less accessible google translate that requires constant internet and connection to your $90 Bluetooth microphone. If this app simply used your phones mic it would be the same. It can’t even get day one Chinese Mandarin correct. Google translate is superior in voice recognition and you can download languages so you can use it offline. Please don’t purchase their translator device as it’s just a scam. Ships from china in 4-5 weeks and to return you must send to Lithuania for 15-20 dollars. The device doesn’t even speak, all voice “translations” (if you can call them that) come from my phone’s speaker! Most of the time the translations come out total nonsense. When they’re even a little bit close, it’s always a hilariously bad quarter translation that turns “I’d like to buy a new cell phone” into “I buy new sex handbag” 😂😂😂

What joy when I finally figured out the basics to translate! The only problem was remembering the steps to begin translating if you have a long pause between using the translator. I wish there was more clarity in some steps, like where is the “ red button—on the iPhone? Back of the Translator? I’ve printed a teeny copt of the translator diagram but there’s no red dot and the image was minuscule and very hard to read.
Other than that, I’ll just keep trying and using my Translator more often. I’m very happy I got it.

I Bought this to translate english to Bulgarian. Only after I bought and it was finally delivered that I realized that it only translate my voice to written text which I have numerous other apps that do that. It only translates voice to written speech. They only tell you on the app in one small notice that if you see an X by your language it only does written. It also works very poorly completely miss translating. Again, I have many other apps that do all this better and far cheaper.

Just received my translator the other day. I got it to speak with my next door neighbor who only speaks Japanese so know I can easily speak with her. I speak it a little so I was going back and forth having a conversation with myself.

When I first set it up I could barely hear it and was pressing the up volume on the translator and it didn’t work. I remembered it was paired with my iPhone so I turned the volume up on my iPhone and up went the sound.

This isn’t a stand alone app for those who poo poo on it. You need to buy the special hand held translator that costs $90.
After that fully charge it pair blue tooth select your language and off you go.
But you will need cellular data service or WiFi which isn’t a big issue. In most countries you can get a data mifi device or sim with a data plan which I highly recommend.
Works really well and I highly recommend it when traveling or trying to communicate w someone who don’t speak your language.

Started reading comics in Spanish. My Spanish is very limited. I like that I can say what I’m reading into the translator and writes that down. It would be sooo much better and effective for me if I could save those in the app. Under different categories or forums. Until then, I’m still learning. I just dislike that if I leave the app and go back, none of what I previously had translated is there.

When I first bought this translator, it worked poorly. Some of the translations were laughably bad, and the audio output from my iPhone was nearly inaudible. I just downloaded the newest software and what a night and day difference! Translations, at least in Spanish, are MUCH better, and the output is nice and loud. Very helpful for my job working with a large number of Spanish-only speaking clients. Highly recommend!

How about make a product you’re proud of and advertise the right way. Literally, all you get with enence is a 90 dollar speaker that you connect to your phone which does all the translations. You’re phone already has a speaker, why not use it with something like microsoft or google translate for free. All the good reviews are people who like it because it worked for them, but they don’t realize all the money they wasted and how immoral the advertising is.

I download this app and paired it with the translator. I followed the instructions to translate and nothing was being translated. I discovered the instructions for the A and B buttons were backwards. That’s why it wouldn’t work. Use button B (top button) for the language you want to translate. Example: English to Spanish. Press button B, say your words, then release the button. The English words will show in blue and the translation will show in red.
