Description

If you had the power, how would you create the solar system? What would be the size of each planet or star? And how would you place them in orbit? If you are interested in Astronomy and looking for a powerful yet easy to use 3 dimensional space sand box app to create and simulate a whole new galaxy with realistic physics rules, then you’ve come to the right place. Orbit Sandbox Universe, the 3D sand box game, provides you the ultimate power to explore the infinite space and simulate your own space full of different planets, gas giants, and stars.

In this gravity simulator app, you get to customize literally any aspect of these particles to simulate and design your very own solar system in this sand box. Once you are satisfied with your customized solar system (or any other combination of particles, planets, and stars), you get to easily add it to your collection, take a screenshot and share it with the world.
The game comes with a clean and neat design and the 3D simulation is so smooth that you won’t feel any difficulties or lags when bombarding your planets, or applying any condition to them. And make sure not to take the realistic gravity lensing effect as granted when looking at a black hole. It’s just fascinating.

Is this Orbit Sandbox Easy to Use?
Is this 3D galaxy sand box with realistic physics simulation powerful enough to create and design different planets, gas giants and stars? The answer is a BIG yes! But are the simulation tools easy to use? The answer is even a BIGGER yes! The user interface is so friendly, that you’ll get used to it after going through the step-by-step tutorial and trying available tools for a few times. After that, you just need to use your imagination and be creative to form some unique pocket galaxies with gravity simulator based on physics rules. If you are going to redesign our lovely solar system in our galaxy, you’ll have access to all the planets (mars, moon, earth, mercury etc …) and you have the power to unlock new worlds by meeting the right conditions, colliding with the right objects, and altering mass and sea level while keeping the temperature stable. To smash stuff together and create new planets, make sure to crash the right ones together.
Tip: To raise the sea level, hit a planet with ice meteors, and use rock meteors to lower the sea level.

ChronoPotency,
Pocket Galaxy cool game!!
In the objects list menu please add an option to go to an object if double tap or button added so to go to objects immediately by name search. And please Add Neutron-Stars for a Star to be created before a Blackhole stage of a Moon with Extra extra Mass added and added. And please if Life gets Eradicated make a way to enable Life again to start so the planet is not forever Lifeless. And the smallest Mass Ice or Fire Comets should not Eradicate Life only any size with more Mass than the smallest Mass setting since those 2 object types in the game help Life in real-life not Destroy as Gold and Water still arrive on Earth in this manner of way and we are safe since small Mass is not dangerous towards Life only the more Massive objects. And the Orbit is kinda hard to set so can a circle be preset to circle around stars with a button push of a circle orbit option in the spin option setting area of the settings options. Awesome Game Thank you. Neutron Star Silver like the Element Mercury in normal color with tint options of like Blue, Gold, or any color with the metal type of look as a flameless Star looking like a liquid metal drip ball glowing the Blue or any color option would be an idea for Neutron-Stars in this Cool Game as I believe YaHuWaH made the Universe with HIS Son YaHuWShuWO for us to live in.
cfair1,
Very buggy and limited, but fun for a while
The game has some bugs and issues, but it is fun for a little while. Sometimes, after destroying all life on a few planets, the extinction event counter goes up to some random number that is like 8 digits. Also, every time a comet, meteor, satellite, or small celestial object hits a planet with life, it instantly wipes out all life on the planet. Also, it is incredibly limited. There is always a set path for life on a planet, and after advancing life to the space age once, it loses all the fun. And, when you get to the space age, some satellites appear and orbit the planet and then, it stays the same until an extinction event. I would hope that eventually, the game would have unique kinds of life, and that, after reaching the space age, they would start colonizing nearby planets, so uninhabitable could have life and later be terraformed. I hope that there will be some kind of uncontrollable A.I. that would take over some tiny details about your universe. I also hope that eventually, life could advance and build giant ships, and you could allow different inhabited planets’ ships to fight each other. I really hope this game will receive some major updates and become a sci-fi game where you control everything indirectly by creating and destroying celestial objects.
SkyGuyx360,
Basically a mobile Universe Sandbox!
This game is truly amazing and well worth the money! However, there are a few suggestions I have. For one, can we eventually be able to see from the surface of a planet or moon? I know that it would be very hard from a programming standpoint, but it would make the game really popular. Secondly, please can there be a orbiting option? This would basically be a option, along with launching stellar objects, that would basically show a circle around the object, that circle would be the orbit. You would be able to adjust the distance your planet or moon orbited at. I just think it would make putting planets or moons into orbit so much easier. Lastly, please add different black hole sizes. For example, there would be small black holes, medium black holes, large black holes, super massive black holes, and ultra massive black holes. I think having different black hole sizes would be, for one, pretty cool. And two, it would make the game more realistic. And I think that the different sizes of black holes should have more or less pull depending on there size. All of these would make the game even more spectacular then it already is. I recommend this game to people who want a good mobile game for once.
outer space genius,
I’ve been trying to find a game like this (not TOTALLY accurate) but it’s still a great game!
Just wanted to say, nice job! I have a few suggestions though. One, is the ice planets. GAH!!! I’m a huge, enormous, gigantic, space nerd, and the ice planets are so not accurate. I mean it’s like they turn to ice if they’re outside the Goldilocks zone. But wouldn’t it need an ocean to have that much snow, and oceans are only possible in the Goldilocks zone, (or just outside of it, if it’s like mars) otherwise it would turn to rock, like mars (not that mars has NO ice at all. But still, please fix! Two, I’ve heard that Pluto has been having some problems, don’t know much about that, but it sounds annoying. (I haven’t gotten to it yet. Three, I think it would be cool to be able to get planet nine (although I guess we’re still not really sure if it’s actually real) but I still like the idea! Fourth, and most importantly: PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS AND RESPOND!!!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY, the game’s not going to get better if ya ignore all of the feedback! Thanks again for the great game!
WickedClown66,
My opinion, best game I played.
This is exactly what I was looking for from a mobile app, it does need some improvements, unfortunately I can't play long before it gets buggy or crashes.. Main issues are placing a wormhole, satellite or a black hole, causes the game to become unresponsive. Or after so many collisions, no matter what the settings are set to try and lower like graphics, Ect... The planets will suddenly eradicate all life on every planet, no matter the distance from the star even without a star, all turn into a lava planet within seconds
of spawning one. Also noticed that restarting a game for whatever reason, sometimes doesn’t work and either planets are still there, without names. I really want to see this app be updated soon so I can play the game I PAID for.
but I look forward to seeing some improvements. Otherwise it's a simple game, crashing planets, play with gravity, great graphics, the collision of impacts it's well worth it. I really enjoy this game, every game has its cons and pros, once more updates release, it'll be the best!
atsroboy,
Great gameplay - even greater potential!
I ve been playing this game for quite a while now, and whenever I just need a game to kill time or just have fun, I love pulling this game up. The design and gravity balances of the planets and different bodies of mass are amazing! However, I feel like this sandbox also has great potential to be something greater. There are currently less than 30 different options to select when it comes to planets and other things. I would love to see other items such as spaceships, or ways to tinker with the laws of gravity in your universe. Despite this, I agree with many when I say that this is an amazing 5/5 game! Can’t wait for future updates!
GatorHater44,
So much fun!
Update to 4 stars due to some bugs:

After playing for a few hours I have run into a few glitches and found a few features that need a change. Like others have said sometimes objects don’t move and have no pull even though it’s set to unlock. The scale of the black holes is all over the place. They were once big and now they are really small. At first I thought I forgot to slide the mass scale but it was all the way up. I wish the planet count wouldn’t reset to zero when placing a solar system. I wish you could zoom out more. You’re kinda limited to seeing half a solar system at most. Would be cool if you could zoom out to a level where you can see most of the objects on the board. Also, sometimes the texture reverts back to NES days where the lines are jagged and sharp instead of smooth and detailed. Closing out the app completely will fix this.

Where are the supernovas? Quasars? Neutron Stars? And it would be cool if the planets that develop life would colonize other worlds and try to defend against all the bad things I do to their planet like send asteroids to wipe them out. This game has so much potential and I hope the devs use their imagination to make this a truly out of this world experience.

This game is a ton of fun. A truly great physics engine. I highly recommend it.
Brad1375432,
Wouldn’t recommend the paid version
This game is a really cool concept. Problem is it is incredibly glitchy. For example every time I place an object for the first time in a new game it glitches and does absolutely nothing. It doesn’t move, it has no gravitational pull nothing. I have to delete said object and then place a new one. Just now I was trying to play with a black hole and a white dwarf. As usual the first time I place both objects they glitch and do t do anything. I blow them up and start over as usual but the black hole won’t do anything. It has no gravitational affect at all. Iv adjuster the mass several times in hope that it will work but it doesn’t. The white dwarf just zooms right by it with no affect whatsoever. Iv come across several more glitches too. So as the title says don’t waste your money on this app it’s not worth it in any way. Just get the free one and deal with the ads. I understand this is a cheap app and isn’t some huge in depth game. That said when I pay for any app I expect it to preform as it should.
AntSanz,
Fun for a while
This game is awesome exactly what I needed the only thing I think would make the game even better is if the life civilized other planets like it says on the achievements Because once the satellites orbit once it gets to around 15 nothing really happens anymore and it would be cool to like give life by having the life colonize other planets and seeing the surface would be cool but the programming would be difficult. And making a orbit option or make it easier for a planet to orbit or anything to orbit because I was able to orbit 2 black holes because I tried making the solar system and than because there’s so many planets the got all jumbled up and like Jupiter switched spots with Mercury and Neptune was in the habitable zone and Venus collided with Mars it was just a mess so this is what I personally think about the game.
this bas,
It’s good but one thing
This game was the best simulator I found and I love it. One thing I want you guys to add is better life mechanics like changing the atmosphere and being able to see your planet from the surface and also can you make a ocean planets have life and add more celestial bodies and other types of planets and one last thing. I would enormously enjoy if when intelligent being get advances enough that they would become a interplanetary species and can colonize other planets and protect themselves if for example I throw a asteroid at them and you can see glimpses of spaceships going to other planets. If all this were added I’ll highly enjoy it and a lot more people would enjoy it too and I would make this a 5 star and would be extraordinarily good. Please let this happen developers you have my support. 😄
