3.1.4
2023-10-19
This release fixes a visual issue on iPad where list content may sometimes get stretched from one side of the screen to another.
Previously, in 3.1.0:
This release comes with a highly-requested feature: the activity feed! Finally, you can now like and comment on posts of people that you follow (or go global and see what people across the world are doing on AniList.co)! I've also included a few under-the-hood improvements to keep MyAniList running smoothly. More details in the app!

3.0.7
2023-02-15
A few bug fixes and general improvements. We've added in a News segment in Settings that will appear when any information needs to be broadcasted in real-time.
This version removes support for connecting with Twitter and tweeting on your behalf. Due to the seemingly overnight changes made by the Twitter development platform, they are now moving all of their free services to a paid tier. Due to the upcoming price changes, it is no longer reasonable to continue support given the amount of traffic and requests MyAniList generates, as the cost would be too expensive to manage. Apologies for the inconvenience, as this is beyond our control.
3.0.6
2022-11-24
This version fixes a few issues:
- [#72] Fixes a bug where anime/manga entries that previously had hard limits for episodes/chapters/volumes would not get reset when removed from AniList.co.
- Fixes an issue where the app may crash when tapping on the restore purchases button on iPad.
- Improved UX with selecting from a list of options in Settings on iPad.
- General improvements to handling 429 errors (too many requests), as this response was being returned during AniList's maintenance mode.
- Behind-the-scenes improvements.
3.0.5
2022-11-15
This release fixes a few performance issues, as well as improves messaging whenever AniList.co is under maintenance.
Previously in 3.0:
At long last, we've finally hit 3.0! There are some pretty amazing updates in this new version, but the biggest one is: we have an updated logo! Say hello that shiny new Mirai 2.0 logo, designed by our wonderful friends at Iconfactory. I'm absolutely in love with it, and I hope y'all are too!
With this update comes the removal of our existing in-app purchase, Tokubetsu, and the introduction to our new subscription, Tokubetsu+! This subscription contains everything that Tokubetsu had, but additionally includes advanced features and customizations that I'm continuing to build out. I wrote an entire FAQ on this since I'm sure many people have questions, but the biggest question for those who purchased Tokubetsu: Yes, you keep those features forever! You will always keep those app icons, themes, and additional capabilities that were previously under the Tokubetsu umbrella. Additional themes, icons, features, etc. moving forward will require Tokubetsu+. For more information on Tokubetsu+, please check out this page: https://myanilist.app/tokubetsu/
More updates included in this jam-packed update (* means that this requires Tokubetsu+):
- Support for iOS 16!
- Advanced editing capabilities, like updating your notes and marking series as private. These were highly requested and I'm so excited they are now officially supported capabilities!*
- Emoji rating support. Now you can just score things with a simple emoji!
- Home / Lock screen widgets for those who are running iOS 16! (These look incredible and I hope you find them useful!)*
- More app icons!*
- More themes!*
- Huge improvements for syncing your lists! On average, they've been updating items about 50% faster. It's an incredible speed boost, and hopefully this fixes some issues with lists taking forever to update!
- Large user experience improvements with editing series. I've reworked these cards to look more modern, feel fast, and be way more intuitive at updating your content. For episode/chapter/volume edits, you can either use the stepper (i.e. increment one at a time) or use the text field to update the number via typing!
- Enhanced older app icons and themes. If you have Tokubetsu, you'll get the benefit of having modernized themes and icons from the past! These have been reworked to be way more accessible and have stronger contrast so it's easy to read and view things.
This and more are included in the app, so check it out and give it a read!
Thank you so, so much for your support. This update has been a long time in the making, and I'm finally excited to debut this to y'all!
Happy watching and reading,
Corey
