Rockdahows,
Need more
I am a regular in-person jazzerciser and since covid have used On Demand. I love that this app allows me to track other activities like biking, yoga, yard work, etc. But I wish instead of just having “exercise class” to choose when I manually record a workout, instead it would be great if all the various types of jazzercise classes were options to choose (DanceMixx, Blast 360, Interval Fusion, Sculpt, Strike, etc.)
Mason_Mama,
Fairly Useless
I’m not sure what the advantage of this app is. I can do everything it offers elsewhere with more ease.

The only slightly useful feature is the member barcode. I have a keychain that I prefer using, but there has been once or twice that I took my husband’s vehicle and didn’t have it. The reason I say it’s only slightly useful is that while I could have signed in with it, my instructor manually entered me in before I could get the app up and barcode ready. Maybe in a larger facility this feature would be more helpful.

The challenges section would be great if it worked. I can’t create any challenges and my studio owner has tried to get the studio challenges on there, but to no avail. It would be great to be able to track the number of classes I’ve attended towards the 150 class challenge or any of the others throughout the year instead of periodically asking the instructor. But even if she or I could, I’m not sure I would use it since there isn’t even a dedicated Jazzercise exercise option to log and I would have to manually enter each class. There HAS to be a way to integrate the class tracking in studio into the app.
AllySeesThings,
Not actually useful
I pretty much just use the app to check schedules at my local center and scan into class. But it doesn’t actually keep track of my class count, or sync with a fitness tracker (mine is connected to apple health and it’s never tracked anything), log a specific type of jazzercise class or anything else. It needs a major overhaul to actually be useful. Being able to book a class instead of having owners use 3rd party app would be helpful. Being able to stream online classes directly from the app would also be great instead of having to use another 3rd party app owners utilize, etc - especially if it means tracking a class count towards Club Jazzercise.
Nbdcool,
No payment/booking option
I am a Jazzercise beginner. I downloaded this app in hopes that I could easily make bookings for different classes at different Jazzercise places. My nearest Jazzercise center only offers Dance Mixx, but there are lots of different class options within 20 mins of my house.

Nothing worse than going through the motions of making an account for an app that looks nice but had no real function. It would be helpful to have a payment option in the app. It would also be helpful to search for classes within a geographical range, right now I have to go to each individual Jazzercise page to check their schedule and it’s beyond frustrating. I would like to be able to find classes that work with my work schedule but Jazzercise is not making it easy
NoFoodLeftBehind,
This app makes me sad
It’s basically a multi-purpose app for anyone that works out. But it’s not even good at that.
1. Yearly workout totals are HOURS, not workouts. So you are forever dividing by 12 to get to get the number of classes you did. For an organization that rewards members for doing a certain number of classes each year (or for a shorter period for special promos), it’s ridiculous. ALSO, if you do Express classes you to lie and call it an hour so you can easily calculate the number of classes

2. The app should have the types of classes Jazzercise offers, rather than just putting in “exercise class” every time.

3. It’s extremely difficult to set up to sync with your Fitbit. I had to call Jazzercise, give them my login info, and they hooked them up.

4. It would be good to have a payment feature in the app. Most of us have EFT, but at least we should be able to see the status of our account.

Millennials and younger want apps. If Jazz wants to keep attracting the younger set, they need to shell out the money for a decent app.

I like being able to track and list type of classes. I have also used it to locate classes when I travel!!

The problem is that the app tracks hours. 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️
I have found that if I do not set a goal and just manually add my class - then I have to remember to look at the last day of the month — I’ll have how many classes I have.
chulety,
Always appreciated this app. Easy to navigate
I have always appreciated adding the classes to my calendar. I am trying to get my routine recharged at the moment and adding classes to my day does motivate me! It also reminds me that the variety of workouts are available for me and I know when the classes are offered.
ntpyles,
Could be so much more
This app could be so much better. The class schedule is helpful but functionality is unreliable. For past week classes haven’t been loading. There is also such an opportunity to be able to track my classes, have a digital card to scan in, push notifications for cancelled or changed classes, and interact with my local Jazzer community. The extra functionality built in isn’t helpful and isn’t as good as the other apps like MyFitnessPal that most of us use.

Community
There could not be a better group of people committed to their well-being, feeling amazing, and being a part of an incredible community. Every person I have encountered has smiled and welcomed me. This has been the exact thing I’ve been looking for, thank you Jazzercise!!!

Even though I’ve just started, I’m enjoying having this app! It helps me with finding a class and a time I can take it. It even links the classes I plan to attend to my Google Calendar. This helps me block out the time in my schedule similar to any meeting I schedule. I’m sure I’ll find challenges with it but for now it’s pretty useful.
