Same problems from previous version
2k Arcade has great potential and nobody is expecting it to be comparable to console version I have 2k24 on my console and I buy it literally every year but I enjoy the arcade version when Im bored or in spare time but I can play the same on the go on iPhone through ps play. If you want consistency fix Austin Reaves face scan it’s not even him and this problem was a year ago so it makes it seem like you slapped something compared to very first Arcade edition with actual face-scans for players and rookies if not recent they were at least recent enough but other than that its good to have 2K on the go but until you take care of minor things people who can play their console games on the go which is the case with the next -gen 2k players this will be last of 2k arcade if you don't do the little things. I think its great game but I think more effort can be put in as far as bugs & presentation but definitely worth a download for basketball fans.

Missing spectator option in association
I am a big fan of 2K on mobile and I have been playing the game since 2K14 mobile, I have noticed drastic improvement in both in graphic and gameplay since then and 2K24 is no different, it’s a masterpiece with the improve player likeness and smooth gameplay I enjoy the game. That being said as a player who mainly plays association mode, I have noticed that the option to “spectate” your game has been missing from the game since 2K20 mobile, though “ spectator mode”is present in 2K24 mobile “play now” that option has not been ported over to association mode. The new “Simcast Live” option is nice, but it doesn’t capture the thrilled that comes from watching the team you put together play mainly the highlights plays, player’s emotions,etc. that is the one feature hour wish would return. Outside of that it’s a great game that I would recommend any basketball fan to download

Mid. VC glitch and all.
Games not worth it. Honestly regretted undownloading 2k23, because the controls and the bar for your character on this game are just not it. I can’t upgrade MyPlayer bc the VC from my last upgrade js stays there and is extremely high now. FIX THE VC GLITCH. JUST ATE UP 30K OF MY VC AND UPGRADED NO ATTRIBUTES. Camera never stays the one you select and the controls just stops working sometimes. I like the addition of more console features like MyCourt and the attributes and badge system sure, it was bound to happen. But the defensive assist button is useless now and doesn’t even alway trigger, so at this point why have it? If you guys went back to the 2k23 controls, or had the same old option as back in the day to pick which year’s controls you want to use like before this Arcade stuff started, it would be much better. Shooting is also wonky, and the animations are literally just from players, no pro or set or unique ones at all. Cool i guess, but takes away from what made ‘23 so addicting. Hopefully those every day updates one day actually make sense and update the game.

Hopefully 2k creators can see this I love the game but you guys removed some stuff like leg sleeves arm sleeves and the ability to alley oop you guys should add more features we should have a online park where you can play with friends at least against ai it would make the game so fun and you guys should please add more hair im tired of the same hair for years and beards and also the game has a bug where before you do upgrades to attributes it already has a vc amount as if you upgrades I don’t know if that’s a bug or and also I keep missing layups with a 99 driving layup and I play on rookie I don’t understand and the shooting window is so small I know I’m asking for a lot but 2k you are a multi million cooperation but so far I love this game its the best arcade 2k game yet but there’s just some stuff that make the game kinda boring

Decent game but needs a few fixes for 5 stars
I’ve been a big fan of NBA 2K Association Mode for a long time.
Here is my feedback so far. I’ll update as I continue playing over time:
- Spectator Mode not available in Association Mode. Please fix this because many people like myself love to play Association Mode and spectate our teams play against the rest of the league. Similar to Football Manager and Out of the Park Baseball where you do all the GM roster work and watch your team in action.
- Free Agency in Association Mode lacks ability to sort through player pool. I don’t want to scroll through a list of hundreds of players manually that are randomly organized. It’s a pain. At least let me sort by position, overall rating, potential, salary, etc.
- NBA Draft lacks ability to sort through players as well. It’s a pain to scroll through hundreds of random names on mobile. It’s also sad that I don’t see any images for the players in the draft pool. No faces.
- When I view my team’s roster, I’d like to be able to sort by overall rating, potential rating, position, etc.
- There is no back button available after using Trade Finder.
- No spectator mode or SimCast available during the playoffs. I also can’t access the settings menu in the playoffs view.
- I can’t edit lineups and set matchups before each game like on NBA 2K console version or PC.
Here is my feedback so far. I’ll update as I continue playing over time:

Okay…
Look, it’s better than the others but only because of minor improvements. But, this game also has tons of cons which I’ll be focusing on. First of all, why does it take forever to get a higher overall in Mycareer?
Second, why is it so hard to shoot? I know for the first one it’s kind of more like the actual 2k’s but it’s never been hard to shoot in real real ones. And also, where are the dunk and 3 point contests because I’ve been waiting for one since 2k22 arcade edition. This series can have amazing potential but you have to show it. But there is 1 problem that stands in from of all, where is the replay mode? I am not trying to make you word for word copy the original 2k series but give it more detail. But honestly, this is the best game on the App Store so…

Please Fix Association!!!
The gameplay is great for mobile. But there has been an issue with the Association ever since Arcade mode came out. Players ratings in free agency are based on letter grades. But the biggest problem is when you get to free agency there is no option to sort at all. It’s just a mix of all the players. Please add a sorting by category. If I’m looking for the best overall players please enable us to sort the overall category. If I want to find the best 3 point shooters I should be able to sort that category by tapping on it. Also, because of not being able to sort by position either it’s so hard to find my teams players that went to free agency. You just have to scroll and scroll and scroll. IMO it makes association unplayable. I will immediately give this 5 stars if that is fixed.

If I could actually play it, I could leave a proper review. Every single time I log out and log back in, I have to create a new file because the old one won’t save. To the device OR iCloud. Outside of that, with the little I have been able to see, it’s 2k. You get what you get. Still switches to the wrong guy on defense so everything is a score. Passes never make it to who they’re intended for so everything is a turnover. In regular game modes Embiid plays like Embiid, but in mycareer he plays like an 8th grader touching the ball for the first time. PJ Tucker plays like James Harden, and James Harden plays like Patrick Beverley. Shot meter is terrible because it’s smaller so you can barely see it. I know folks care about the excellent release and that doesn’t show. And the free throw meter….what is that? Guy shoots 85% for their career and everything misses because the meter is delayed or something. Trash. Game is buggy as h*ll.

Great Game but problems with my controller, gameplay issues, and bugs
I think this is a great game all around but I use my backbone controller to play and I have noticed a few issues. I made a pass first point guard and the bounce bass (B button) doesn’t work at all. It dribbles the ball instead of bounce passing. I am also unable to throw lob passes which is pretty frustrating. Also the difficulty drop off from Rookie to Pro is just dumb. On pro I’m missing full bar lay ups and full bar shots that I’m making on rookie. I am also experiencing a problem with my VC. I spent 10,000 to upgrade my player and now the total is stuck on whatever I pay for. So now I have to pay 20,000 to upgrade one attribute. The gameplay compared to 2k23 and everything new they added in is amazing though.

Update is disappointing
At this point, I don’t understand why there are changes to nonessential elements of gameplay. Every year should just be a short change log addressing the most flagged issues of the previous year, along with a roster update.
I’d be happier with 2023 with updated roster than I am with 2024.
Player movement is slow and less fluid than before, Austin Reeves (for example) doesn’t even have a face scan, ally-ops won’t work with my controller, I’m immediately bummed that you’ve decided to randomize the fantasy draft order… (why wouldn’t I want to be first pick every time like it was in 2K23?), the color scheme and severe contrast make it more difficult to navigate menus or read text, still hoping you’ll bring legends back as draftable rookies in association mode, etc. Will add to this as I play but I’m mostly disappointed thus far
