Ready for adventure? The Ballad of BrightRidge and Love & Tin are two magical adventures in Story Mode. Or choose Explore mode and experience BrightRidge without quests or enemies. Can you find the ancient whale that swims the oceans? Or the hidden ruins that dot the land?

SHAPE CHANGE POWERS
Unlock the power to change into several species and explore BrightRidge from a new perspective. Soar through the sky as a golden eagle or a winged dragon. Run through the forests and a wily fox or dashing deer. Barge through the land as a towering Tree Ent and flutter peacefully among the flowers as a delicate butterfly (a fan favourite!).

PHOTO MODE
Become a nature photographer and take and save beautiful pictures of this gorgeous and vast landscape. Will you photograph an elusive deer drinking by the river? Or perhaps capture a golden sunset amid ancient ruins? Need help hunting the animals down? Use your Spirit View to magically track animals, each with their own habitat and behavior.

•AdventureGen Engine 3.0 - a huge behind-the-scenes upgrade. Adventures are now built using modular, object oriented blocks. This is to allow building new adventures and new environments in a fraction of the time. It also allows dynamic re-ordering of quest objects, making changes to adventures simpler. The previous version contained a hybrid adventure manager that has now been fully moved to a single system.

Great game
With an interesting storyline to follow this game is great as a freebie. I really enjoy the theme and the work put into threading the story together through the chapters. If I paid for this game I might be a little disappointed but only because of minor control issues.

I would prefer the joystick/buttons be stationary with an option to edit their position. As they are, it becomes difficult to move/look and jump/attack simultaneously. I find myself constantly adjusting my thumb to run. Movement died is a little slow for the expanse of the map as well, but this is remedied by shapeshifting.

The grafics are great! Beautiful landscapes. Obviously a lot of work put into the open map world. I've really been enjoying this and will be sharing it with some of my friends after I finish this review!

Seriously Bad controls
(Fyi I played on an ipad pro with 256gb memory, most of which is unused. I had nothing else open.)There may be a great game here, but it is likely I’ll never know. Just too exhausting to even try to make the character move in the correct direction, let alone any other action. Camera goes all over the place and constantly gets too close in to the main character - I tried moving it out but just zooms in again. Tried first person and same thing. Try to select to move in a specific direction by pressing on the screen and half the time the character just continues to stand around. When he does move, the camera swings wildly and so do the characters movements. Just awful. Music and visuals are good but there is no voice - or only a compressed squeal when there should be voice. Everything is in a text box at the very bottom of the screen, which I miss half the time while struggling to control the characters movements - so I’m missing most of the dialog. Characters do have speech bubbles sometimes, but text does not appear in them. There are a range of movement settings, but none of them helped - just a mess. Touching a character or object seems to accomplish nothing - perhaps this is a port from a different platform as this game seems not designed for touch controls. Sadness.

The most beautiful game ever made!
I have been a player of BrightRidge for a long time! I started out just playing the demo version and I would just fly around with the eagle all the time! I ended up buying the full version and honestly it is the most beautiful and addictive game I have every played. You created a world that is so realistic and beyond our wildest dreams. The stories are wonderful and also a little emotional. You feel such a deep connection with the characters and that is something you don’t find in a lot of games. For being a game I play on my phone, it honestly is one of the best games I have ever played. I have replayed stories over and over trying to discover and figure out more and more! I am beyond excited for all the new things that are in development! Thank you so much for taking your time to create something this special. You can tell you put all your heart into it! You deserve a lot of recognition for this game! Great work! Thank you!

??How is this game only $2.99?? The graphics are amazing and my tiny phone screen doesn’t do it any justice. I wish I could play this on the big screen. If the developer ever decides to release it on the switch,pc, or another platform I would definitely buy it.

I’m rarely ever impressed with phone games but this one seriously goes above and beyond any expectations. I initially purchased because of the intriguing description, but was hesitant about the actual quality due to the price. However, within the first ten minutes of gameplay, I was already overwhelmed by the amount of detail and thought that went into creating this game.

It reminds me of Zelda: Breath of the Wild/My time at Portia with its beautiful storyline, graphics, gorgeous and seamless open world with so much to explore etc. If you’re searching for a game that offers an in-depth experience and a beautiful open world, this will not disappoint you. This could easily be priced at a much higher price point and is an overall a steal for what it is.

I Had to leave a comment because of how amazed I was at the quality of work. Like the other commenters, I am confused by why this is not the top 5 for its category. This is not just a labour of love, whoever created this is seriously talented. All aspects of it have been executed excellently- Especially the stunning graphics.

Such Huge Potential
The graphics are great on the iPad Pro, but what really impresses me is the artistic design. I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt like I needed to because this game is sooooo close to greatness. The music is nice and calming, the sounds could use some work but are still fine.

The thing that just completely takes me out of the experience and undoes any relaxing feeling I’m supposed to have is the frustrating controls and camera. It is something that has been so well done in gaming that users don’t even think about it anymore, but BrightRidge snaps you back into a frustrating reality.

There are options to change both camera and controls, but it never feels right.

I want to reiterate, the world created here is stunning. Artistic design, in general, is hard to describe but the landscapes and angles and lighting and weather are all so unique.

I was able to get this game for free, but if the controls and camera would feel as special and cared for as the rest of this game I would GLADLY pay the price for the top tier iOS game that BrightRidge would surely be.

Nevertheless, I look forward to seeing what this developer has in store in the future.

Unbelievable.
I bought this game years ago when it didn’t have a story line. I played for 30 minutes and then never touched it again. Now in 2021 playing again with all the Updates and its a completely different game. I thought it would be the same game as vandgels - that game I finished already and loved it. This game looks similar but everything feels different. I’m very grateful for this experience. I’m looking for more games that are relaxing. That do not require shooting or killing anyone constantly. Something to play at night that may actually help me fall asleep. That being said, I will download his new game, wilderness. Thank you.

Best game I've ever played
I've had BrightRidge HD for a long time now, and I can find absolutely nothing to complain about. This is the only game I've found that really feels like being in a place, and on a mobile device, too.
I'm eagerly awaiting Vandgels and the new areas. This game has so much potential for stories and places.
As for suggestions, all the plant life in the game has names, but they're never shown anywhere- which made me imagine a botany notebook that could be found. Perhaps a small shelf in one of the buildings with a few readable books on wildlife, history, or fiction stories taking place in Nimia?

A stunning game
I first bought this game on a sale via Google Play for my Samsung Galaxy S5. After I first played it, I got addicted to it. I decided to buy it for my iPhone 5s, and I never stopped playing. The game’s graphics are breathtaking and the music is calming and catchy. Exploring the world was my favorite part of the game. And Love & Tin was very emotional for me. This game is brilliant in every way. The developer has done a great job creating this game. I’m looking forward to see how much this game grows. I wrote a good review but it disappeared
I’m not gonna write it all over again...
The controls are very frustrating and don’t work properly in my opinion but besides that it’s great for doing photography and then converting that into watercolors or oils via filters… But I should warn you my iPhone seven overheated I guess I set the settings to too high of a definition… once again I’m getting very fed up with the controls not working on the character not moving it’s as bad as this bad voice recognition I am using

Hard to believe this is only the work of a single person!
Wow so much detail and work went into this game , the environment is amazing done and detailed if you up the quality, and pretty large for a mobile game. The story parts are good maybe a little emotional, and I do wish there was more to the story sections, but this game is definitely worth a purchase, I hope to see more updates to this or perhaps a sequel hopefully with a longer story element. Excellent work. Hope to see more.
