Ohio Lottery Hack 7.4.13 + Redeem Codes

My phone is in perfect condition, camera lens is clean, tried in many different types of lighting and backgrounds, etc. I still can not get the Scan Tickets camera feature to focus on any of my lottery tickets barcodes. I have tried scratch offs, Mega Millions and Powerball. When I put the whole ticket in the frame the picture is clear and the app can not read the barcode from that distance apparently. (Even though regular apple camera on QRCodes could do this) I move the card or receipt closer to the camera so the barcode is majority of the box like the app recommends and then it turns into a big blurry blob and making the card look like what I can only imagine as what being legally blind would be like. As the app updates are far and few between I would expect this to be fixed anytime soon. Ohio Lottery should really give another company a chance to run the app.

I reported to the Ohio lottery of a scam where people pick up a loosing lottery ticket from the trash and are able to alter the numbers repeatedly to enter tickets manually. They have multiple email accounts and cashing thousands of dollars worth of tickets! As a legitimate player we are limited to the number of entries. They are checking the site multiple times and cashing in for lottery cash. That is why most people are unable to get any because it is sold out! this has been going on for over a year. Thousands if not tens of thousands of tax payers money gone to worthless scammers. The lottery will not shut down manual entry to stop them. Even though they now are finally shutting “some” accounts down. Now they have added KINO to the mix for them to get. Retailers in my area have stopped cashing which inhibits the legitimate people from using their points.

Several months ago when I used my app, it scanned the instant scratch off tickets just fine. Now, I am receiving the error, “Oops. Something went wrong. Ticket is invalid.” I have scanned numerous tickets from 3 different games and they’ve all stated the same thing!! I called Ohio Lottery Support and was told I could only submit 5 tickets at a time and I have to call back several times to have them manually add them to my account. What a crock!!! Easy way to get me to STOP playing Ohio Lottery Scratchies!!! They all stunk anyway!! The highest payout I got was $5 and that was on a ticket that had 4 winning spots, 3-$1 and 1-double $1. Talk about a RIP OFF!!!

I use it all the time. I love that the mobile cashing is now and option and I’m excited to start using it. If I had a wishlist, I would most definitely want to purchase my tickets through the app. I am confined to my house during covid-19 and have very very limited access to an authorized lotto printer. The town is shut down and very limited hours if they are open. If I link my info to the account to cash in my tickets,wouldn’t it make sense to let me purchase them through the app too? Just a thought!! I love the app either way! Thanks for having it!

To WTHRUThinking: whatever "news" source you got that from is junk. A) an average person cannot alter losing tickets to winning tickets bc of the bar codes are how they're checked, not the printed numbers, and B) the lottery knows exactly how many winners there should be and when and where the tickets were sold, it's not totally random. Plus lottery payouts do not come from the state general fund, but lottery funds collected from ticket buyers. I'm sure it's more fun to be constantly outraged about "scams", but put a little more thought into spreading them around as fact.

Love that I can save and play multiple entries over 10 days. My only complaint, if I went and bought a ticket every day verse playing 10 draws at a time, I could redeem rewards points for each day I win nothing. However, if I play 10 drawings and win 1 day out of the 10, I get no rewards. I’m penalized for playing 10 draws vs going daily and possibly not spending as much because daily trips are unlikely. If I only win 1 of the 10 days, I should get 9 times whatever reward amount is offered daily. Hope that made sense.

This app is poorly written and confusing. It appears to say one thing but mean another with the whole Ticket Cashing Option. ONLY tickets of $50 up to $5,000 can be cashed. Since the majority of prizes given out by the Ohio Lottery fall well below this threshold, not many customers will be able to utilize this option. An option to accumulate more than $50 and utilize the option. Whoever writes the instructions and promo was NOT clear on this “option”. Again, a very THIRD RATE APP and poorly written and executed instructions. When you call in, the Ohio Lottery Representatives are smug, sarcastic and very off putting. Another TYPICALLY RUN STATE AGENCY. If they had to make it in the real world this would FAIL MISERABLY.

I’ve been using this app for about a year now! But over the last couple of months it just stopped working and I can’t login to few my reward points or scan any tickets! I now it’s the app because I deleted them downloaded it several times and it still doesn’t function!! It’s been this way for the last few months! You would think they would have it fixed by now but I guess customers aren’t that important! Sad to say that I no longer play because of this! I would used to at least get some kind of reward points for losing tickets but I guess that’s just be take away! 😕

Scanner works great and I like how fast you can scan your tickets and then enter losing tickets into the Rewards program. My major precious complaint is that the app REQUIRED YOU TO ENTER YOUR LOG-IN CREDENTIALS EVERY TIME YOU USE THE APP! This new release with the updated interface fixes that in that you can now use Touch ID on the iPhone to quickly log in. Much better. Overall the new interface is improved and I like it. Nice job. I upped my stars on this to 4 to reflect the improvements.

I use the app every day for my saved ePayslips which is easier for me and the Tellers. As an ePayslip user, I want the ability to go to the next saved ePayslip while I have an ePayslip open so that I don’t have to go back to Home/Saved ePayslip each time. I usually scan at least 4 tickets when I go. As an ePayslip user I want the ability to enter more numbers on a ticket. As an Ohio Lottery app user I want the ability to purchase tickets from the app.
