Description

The chemistry falls into to number of the most important sciences and is one of the main school objects.
Its studying begins with the Periodic Table. Interactive approach to a training material is more effective than classical. As in it technologies which became the family for the modern pupils are used.

Periodic Table - is a free application for iPhone which displays the entire Periodic Table at startup interface. The table has a long-form approved by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) as the core. Besides the periodic table of chemical elements, you can use the Table of solubility.

580HexShank,
the best
I could easily spend hours and hours enjoying all the fascinating information generously provided in this app if the duties of my state in life were to allow; Which brings me to my next point: Since day one this app has already saved me huge amounts of time. I already know how to dead recon the likelihood of common chemical equilibria based on electronegativity, vsepr theory and the like, so simply having the reference information of this app has me quite satisfied. Besides, as most of you reading these reviews already know, the long list of exceptions to the rules of chemistry pretty much mandates research into the lab experiences of predecessors. Perfect review earned. God Bless You extremely smart Russian friends you have done great good by this app.
cvg726,
Just what I was looking for
This is a great app and had the info I wanted. However, I noticed that from element 121 and on the electron shell configurations are 1 to 2 electrons off. You might want to look at that even though these are hypothetical elements at this point. I did not check the sub-shell configs. My hat is off to you in keeping up with all the info; when do you sleep? Outstanding job on this app, many thanks.

BTW, the report a bug button just cancels the app so I reviewed and reported this way. Maybe you could list the link next to the “report” button.

GagneJr,
How do I pronounce that?
I haven’t gotten to use the app too much since I’ve been driving cross country ever since I bought it, but so far it looks pretty cool. One thing I would really like to see though is a button that you could press that would pronounce the element name. The game I’ve been playing the past few days has been “name every element in order”. The game would be way easier to play if I could learn how to pronounce the element name from the app, rather than googling it while trying to drive, especially when driving through these fly-over states that have no phone service.
bumble? more like crapble,
DO NOT BUY!
The pro version has only a few things extra from the free version and they do not offer some of the things advertised. And further more the “report a bug” button is ironically disabled… hmmmm. It’s a scam. Stick to the free version and just google every thing it’s easier.
nbtaylor,
Really good, not perfect
This app provides a TON of information of each of the elements of the periodic table; however there are occasional mistakes such as a random parentheses in some of the atomic radii or an incorrect date of discovery (e.g. Magnesium was discovered in 1755 and ISOLATED in 1808, not discovered in 1808). Overall this app has a lot of potential and sure beats looking everything up; however, I’m not sure everything is reliable and unfortunately you need to double check everything if considering academic use. It’s also unclear where the source of all this info is coming from. So 4/5 stars for now. Let’s see what a future update holds.
archiv123,
Great app, but manually check for valence electrons in the model instead of reading the count
I’ll cut right to the chase first. The valence electron counts are wrong in a lot of the “lighter” elements. For example, Oxygen is marked as having 2 valence electrons, even though the model right above it shows 6 electrons in the outermost layer.

Other than that, very nice app.
Rigtofen,
Some missing info/+ other stuff
Ok, overall the app is AMAZING but there are some problems such as missing info eg; Carbon missing its 4+ oxidation state and other minor stuff like that. The app is nearly perfect. I just wish there would be more info/ content. But in general there is a lot of content. An amazing app! deserves five stars!
CPRox123,
Cool app... but...
It needs some improvements. Oganesson is a solid, not a gas! Also I’d like you to show decay processes and have separate info on when the element was discovered. You should also add links to Wikipedia. Also, you should add the American names for the elements. Plus, you should add the pronunciation section. I’d prefer you to make these improvements right... NOW.
234gji,
Good but could be better
This app is really good but I wish it would give more information about the element sometimes it doesn’t give information that you want for example it doesn’t tell you not to put francium in water
DocMDDDS,
One gripe: no zoomed-out full view of table.
With larger cell phone screens and higher resolutions, there is absolutely no reason for there not to be an option to zoom out and see the entire table.

Scrolling around to find an element isn’t always helpful, or easy for rue novice who doesn’t know the elements’ properties.
