If you already use health or habit trackers for health reasons, why not pay more attention to your bowel movement?
Plop can help to find out what's affecting your gut. Knowing the root causes can help improve gut issues like constipation, IBS, IBD, and more.

Brionté,
Well designed, easy to use
I know someone who died of colon cancer at a really young age, about the age that I am now. When you’re young, you take your health for granted. So I made a commitment that I would not and began the paleo lifestyle. Gut health is central to the paleo lifestyle. I am happy I can now track what I’m putting into my body and what is going out. The app is well designed and easy to use and makes me want to track things.

I have a suggestion to sync with Apple Health particularly for period data. I already track it there and through my watch.
Tootsmcboots,
Great app for IBS tracking!
Wow, this is a really nice app, esp with premium membership. I upgraded immediately because I wanted to have a one-stop-shop for logging food and BM. I’m using this for insights for myself, but also for sharing with my nutritionist and PT as I navigate a complex health issue.

To the developers: Please add hydration tracking! Also, a nice advanced feature would be regression modelling of foods and hydration to symptoms and BM types. I’d love to see insights similar to what Whoop produces in their month insights reports!
BusinessBrand,
WOW!
This app is honestly awesome. Visually beautiful, informative, simple, *chefs kiss*. I only wish they had a widget so I can keep it on my private “things to check daily” home screen page! I am excited to continue using this app without feeling “icky” about the topic since its such an important part of your health. Thank you for creating this.

Update: There is NO way to contact the creator, on their website or in the app, please update this ASAP.
James B,
Very nice app
This does just what I need to track the plops. However everything these days is becoming a subscription and while I can appreciate the developer needing to earn a living, I don’t understand why ongoing subscription costs are warranted for this. I suppose if people are willing to pay then that’s fine and good for them. I am not willing to do ongoing payments for this. I would be willing to do a one-time payment to support the developer.

Nicely done with the very slick and intuitive app.
Grace full,
Excellent app; just ticked all history gone after update
Excellent app; just ticked all history gone after update. Was resistant to change cause was fine previously. Current update very good. One of best (hidden) features is list of different types breathing/deep breathing. More well done than any meditation or yoga app I’ve seen. Kudos for all around excellent very helpful app!👍
23BigPete,
Good app
App so far has been working very well, I started the first of October keeping track and it’s neat to see how often you go at the same time each day and then determining what you previously ate to determine why some symptoms often show up.

Anyway for it to keep back farther? I been tracking since October 1st 2020 and it only shows since mid-november 2020

Thanks
olya93882,
Exactly what I needed
It’s been a week of using this app and so far it’s been very helpful with tracking my bowel movements to identify patterns since I’ve been having some gut issues. Simple and intuitive, the only thing I wish that the symptoms list was fully available in free version of software.
Csweetjojo1,
Good app but have suggestion
It would be nice if you could not only change the time of the plop but the date as well. Sometimes I will be busy and forget to log it that day. Then the next day I remember to log the plop but can’t go back to the previous day.
ztg43,
Still needs some other features
Are there any features to add notes to the items you select. Also, can you create your own additional fields like tracking movement or even mood? Maybe also being able to generate reports to show the notes and graphic charts.
Jessie S789,
Limited options
There’s no way I’m paying $30 a month for this service, and while I like the food facts that they provide it’s limited in information (only explains what IBS is and not IBD). Also, I can’t even report specifically if there’s blood or pain with my stool. There’s not a lot of factors I can report other than manually taking the notes through the app.
