PocketSudoku offers 40 Beginner puzzles, 40 Intermediate puzzles, an unlockable bonus 26 Expert puzzles, and a daily puzzle (no purchase required!). Progress in every puzzle is stored automatically so you can put it down and come back at any time. Undo as many moves as you want or reset the puzzle with one tap!
The game interface is intuitive and easy to use.

Simple and playable—but not orientation-aware
Found this app as a replacement to an old app that hasn't been updated since 2012 and is broken.
This app is nicely designed but has one area that could use improvement—being orientation aware. I'd really like to see a landscape iPad mode, but at the VERY least make it so it appears right side up if I turn my iPad over so the lightning port is up. I use a case that blocks the port if it's on the bottom, so sometimes if I'm using my iPad while charging, I have to turn it upside down in portrait mode. Most apps dutifully flip the screen over, but not this Sudoku app.
But truly, I'd really wish for a landscape option.

Why take out the auto-removal feature of the "Note" number when Big number is entered? It would save me a lot of headache

Fantastic app
No ads popping up, straight forward, pick from the list which difficulty, and there you go!! Only 2 things that may be drawbacks. There are only a certain amount of puzzles for each difficulty... and it's timed. You're not playing against anyone, and there's no stopping or pausing the timer, but who cares really if you're just playing for leisure right?? When you've finished a game, it also gives the option to post to the game center if you want, not necessary.

it doesn't take much to become a fatal flaw
This is a perfectly good Sudoku app, except for one thing: when you tap on a number or note to add it to a square, there's no visual or auditory feedback that you've hit the button, so it requires more double-checking to make sure you've entered the numbers correctly. When there are so, so many Sudoku apps, even a small problem will make me look for a better app, and that's what happened here.

I really like this game!
I really like this game, I am just learning Sudoku, it's addictive and challenging, I would like to see the numbers that are placed on the board when using the HINTS a different color that would
stand out, or even the same color as the numbers that are on the board to begin with, it would just make it a little less confusing if I have to leave the game and come back to it at a latter time.

Good app
I enjoy the app although I wish there were more puzzles, especially in the difficult category. Also, about 6 weeks ago, the setting for auto-updating notations stopped working. I hope the developers will fix this soon. The auto-correct functions don't work either, in case you use those.

Good app
I really enjoy the app. I find the notations option helpful. I like that the notations are automatically updated as numbers are placed. One question, how does one complete a puzzle in 3 seconds? There is a person listed as having done so. Along with several other unbelievable times. Any who, I like this app a lot!

Best Sudoku App Available
If you just want a simple Sudoku app without the unnecessary bells and whistles, this one's for you. With customizable colors and the ability to turn hints on or off, you have the freedom to play the game as best works for you. Having completed all the puzzles, I'm unable to find another sudoku app I like as much. My only complaint: add more puzzles!

Simple and easy to use but CHALLENGING
This app doesn't make it easy to cheat. Nice and easy to play but challenging enough to give the satisfaction of WINNING!
