SpyCat811,
Excellent platform with small UI quirks
I love how simple and well integrated the platform is. Just enough to allow you to communicate with your trainer, schedule and track workouts, log progress. The actual saving of workouts can be a bit fickle, and viewing past workout performance is difficult to do while in an active routine. But overall, there are no glaring flaws.
TTPhD,
Pretty decent although a little slow
Overall this is a pretty good workout app. The transitions are little slow, but they work. I like the demonstration videos so that I know I’m doing to exercises correctly. I would, however, recommend a download function where users can locally download the workouts in times Internet is not available. All in all it’s a pretty decent app with no in-app purchases that allows me to track my progress and workouts.

Trainer, demos and tracker
I can do everything in this app. My coach does my routines in the app and I can follow, track, see demo videos, record sets as I go, refer back to past performance, track progress photos, diet logs. Basically everything you will need in this app.

Beware, VERY glitchy and you will lose data
I have been using this app for about six months daily. One of the most aggravating things is when I’m in the middle of a program work out and I need to go back and correct a set (for example I entered the wrong weight) if I hit the back arrow it takes me completely out of the program and I lose all data that I’ve entered up to that point. Yes technically you’re supposed to swipe but intuitively the back arrow for most of the known world means you go back a page not exit the entire program. Little glitches like this where you lose data are why I hate this app. Seems like it would be a no-brainer; just don’t exit me from the app or don’t delete my data or give me a warning so I know it’s gonna happen.
Pedro Pajares,
The app is in need of a full renovation
Conceptually, I like the approach of the app.

However, the execution lacks quality in both user interface and backend.

As a trainer, Programs are not intuitive to define and it takes several tries, even after seen the tutorials, to set them up.

Creating groups for users and workouts per group and user is also not that easy to setup.

As an user, one of the things that’s irritating is that, when in a workout, if you tap on the little white left arrow, it will kick you out of the workout without double checking and without saving your progress. Come on guys!! After 5 series of dumbbells for biceps and triceps, hands are a little shaky... it is not that hard to include in the design of the app a double checking when tapping the arrow.

Other than that, you really need to hire a good UX engineer to revamp the progress and graphics aspect of the workouts.

App doesn’t keep end user in mind
The gym is going to be opened while someone is in the gym, where there is usually very poor or no mobile signal. You have to load the menu and videos with a good signal. Whenever you go back to the menu from any video, it loads all over again, so it’s painfully slow.
The nav menu on the left has the slowest open/ close animation I’ve ever seen on an app. It’s sad knowing it was programmed this way.

Please give the option for users to download their workout locally, or cache it if they open the menu once so it doesn’t require perfect mobile signal.

Planning Calendar is a deal breaker
So much potential. Like others have said, in theory they get it. It is the small things that add up once you really start using it that add up. I will keep an eye on the app but will not be using it (I am a personal trainer). The calendar is the main dealbreaker very cumbersome, time consuming and it is not possible to get a big picture view of your clients week and month. You can only plan one week at a time and the calendar is like an excel spreadsheet view. Like others have said customer service is not helpful. I hope enough people keep using this app so they stay in business and get better, but time will tell.
NYTer,
Not ready for prime time
Awful UX, buggy, slow and if you are away from the app for even a few seconds 50%+ of the time when you go back it starts you from the Home Screen. Which means selecting the program you’re doing, finding the workout you are doing, hitting start workout, and scrolling through multiple screens to get to the set you were on. Rinse and repeat the entire workout. Nice attempt but still needs a lot of work just to get to baseline functionality.

Disappointing
Very disappointed in this. The premise is great: it promises a lot but basic things like reminders to clients will stop being sent. I have contacted their technical department more than once and received no help. I’m paying money for an unreliable service and the support is non-existent: they just keep sending me canned responses. They basically told me that the problem was my phone. Why are some of my clients also having the same issues all of a sudden when they were originally receiving their reminders?
PTD refuses to take responsibility.

Not impressed
This app is clunky and not that useful. It's basically a check list and some documents. There is no data tracking or data analysis. You get better info from fitness pal and/or garmin which you have to have anyway to use this app. From what I can tell, there is no way to record your activity and no way to link your garmin or strava. You can't send messages.
