marschif,
Needs landscape mode
The app can only be used with difficulty on an iPad because landscape mode is not supported. This is pretty basic programming for 2020. Every other app seems to have figured it out, why can’t Raley’s?
Also, the right portion of the on-screen keyboard is off the screen, making it impossible to enter passwords.
These deficiencies need to be fixed. Come on Raley’s . . . Spring for the money to hire a bright 12 year old kid who knows how to fix these problems. You should be able to afford it!
STUMPYMD,
Very easy to use to refill Rx
My local Raley’s just started using the Raley’s app to keep track of our prescriptions and to allow us to refill them via the app. When I first logged into the app I thought I would have to manually enter each prescription into the app. To my delight, as soon as I logged in, all of my prescriptions appeared in a list with the information I needed such as Rx #, date last filled, earliest refill date, etc. If you are transferring prescriptions from another pharmacy you can either enter them in manually or you can scan them in with the app.
The app is very user friendly although one reviewer states that on the iPad the app doesn’t work in landscape mode. I don’t have any problems on my iPhone. It functions flawlessly so far. It’s a welcome addition. You can customize text messages to let you know when your prescriptions are ready either by part of the prescriptions number or by the medication name (which may offer less privacy if your phone is stolen). You can change these options any time in the settings of the app. I like this new app very much and think it’s a great customer service addition. I highly recommend it.
MyGrainMama,
Some good features, but needs work
I liked this app very much when I first started using it. Several months later, though, there are annoyances that make me less delighted.
The app sends refill reminders based on number of doses rather than when our insurance will cover the next refill, sometimes causing confusion.
I’d like a way to peek at hidden prescriptions without unhiding all of them, and I’d like them to remain where I can see them for longer before they disappear from the app entirely.
Sometimes I don’t get refill reminders and sometimes I don’t get notifications that my meds are ready to be picked up.
On the plus side, I very much like being able to scan in my refills.
mommy2PatOona,
Buggy even more so with the new update
So when I first downloaded the app, it was almost perfect except I couldn’t add my own prescriptions. It worked flawlessly on my husband’s and 2 kids prescriptions though. Gave it 4 stars then. So when the app got an update, it finally prompted me to add my own. Lo and behold, it says it can’t add mine since it’s already linked to another account?? Contacted customer service, they deleted the whole family account so I can start from scratch. I finally re-register but is just stuck in the login screen. Can’t sign in whatsoever. Every time I hit the sign in button it reacts (button gets darker) but doesn’t really sign me in. So now I have a new account but useless app. I give up.
Jonathon sonoma,
Excellent
No more calling in prescriptions and typing in long numbers! No more fumbling through your pill bottles to try to find all those that are coming up which means you’re not driving to the pharmacy so often. No more running out of medicine. I do wish it wouldn’t keep you from refilling a prescription when it thinks it’s too soon because that means you have to bother the pharmacist or run out. But all in all this is FIVE BIG STARS. Definitely get this app!!!
Long-time Nob Hill customer,
Love the concept, but needs much work
I added the Raley's Pharmacy app mid-August 2018. Unfortunately, the only way I can get it to open is to completely delete the app and reload each and every time; I'm then able to request refills, check the status, etc.
The notification process works great - I receive those as soon as refills are ready.
For the developers: I'm currently using an iPhone 7+ and haven't had issue with other apps I use regularly.
I'll look forward to trying it again, once these glitches are addressed. In the meantime, our Nob Hill pharmacy staff is wonderful, so we'll continue to make our requests the old-fashioned way!
Monkeydharma,
Needs landscape mode...
This app does what it’s supposed to do, and would get five stars except for one glaring fault (amazing in this day and age) - there is no landscape mode for iPad users! That’s basic app development, developers!

EDIT: in addition to the above, in portrait mode on an iPad pat of the menu display goes off-screen. That’s just amateurish. I’m taking another star away.

UPDATE: it’s been a year since my original review, and nothing has been done yet to fix the problems various users have mentioned. Use at your risk.
SteppinStone,
Its moderately helpful
This app is helpful in seeing in one place what prescription I have and when I can next reorder. But I still need to call in my order because the couple times I ordered through the app the store did place the order. Secondly I cannot control placing a prescription on automatic reorder with this app - still have to ask pharmacist to do that. So for what this does do, it works fine. It just doesn’t do much.
Ellesnopi,
Refills are easier, but “0” refill prescriptions need work
Refills using this app beats having to call in. The reminder texts are great! The app needs work with prescriptions having “0” refills left. There is no reminder to refill. I have to set up reminders elsewhere to fill medications I take on a continuous basis. Also, when a zero-refill is ordered, the prescription disappears from the list. So there is no status. Good app, but it can be better!
finitz,
Update is not working well.
I have used this app for a few years to order and update prescriptions for my husband and myself. A recent update kicked him out of my account and then when I invited him to rejoin the app was finicky on his phone so he gave up. I ordered my refill on Saturday and it said it would be ready today (Monday). I just went on to check and it does not even show that I refilled it. I wish I had taken a screen shot but really???? I’m back to calling the pharmacy which I was trying to avoid! Not happy!
