It’s awesome but...
I know you probably aren’t going to read this but if you do I would like to say it’s got potential, I like the actually gameplay and all the gagets and I would really like some more kinds of weapons, do get me wrong I like the guns you have so far but I want more stuff like shotguns and maybe a zombie mode were the people with only phones can play as zombies a common complaint that you’ve probably heared a lot is the glitching which I don’t actually mind what I want to talk about it’s the battery usage, there’s probably no way you can fix this considering the guns have...well recoil and the laser but if there is a way then please do it, if you do I would like there to be a way You could return the ones you have for the new ones because I hope you understand that I feel like you should have to pay for something twice ya know? Anyway the game is fun and i want you guys to pick up from where you left of.

Too much fun!!!
I got the recoil spitfire set for Christmas and I am in LOVE. I am a gamer who loves things like VR, AR, ETC but this, is something else. Having the ability to snipe your friend (or in my case, family😂) from across your house is so cool. I’ve played 2 games, both of them were indoor skirmish but that in itself was stupid cool. I am planning on having a big family shootout tomorrow in either CTF or flat-out team skirmish so we’ll see how that goes. I’ve really only have 1 technical issue and that is one of my spitfires doesn’t turn on properly so I have to unscrew the battery cover, take the batteries out and put them back in but I am completely OK with that as it has never crapped out mid game. I’m totally going to buy the SR-12. Producers if you’re reading this, do not, I repeat, DO NOT leave this game in the dust. Keep adding on to it and you will have the Pavlov (Multiplayer VR war game, think CS:GO but on oculus or vive) of reality. Add more. Add apaches or something! ADD A FRIGGEN VIRTUAL MECH, I DO NOT CARE, Just DO NOT ABANDON THIS BEAUTIFUL MASTERPIECE!!! I have not tried the airstrikes, ammo crates, or anything that you have to be outside for yet (I haven’t even tried the radio yet but I have a lot of hope for it).

Absolutely terrible. The original games was great. No issues at all. Game started right away and everything connected perfectly. Newest update with indoor skirmish is RUBBISH!!! We can't even start a game because it tells both players we're out of range when we're 10 feet away from it and it doesn't matter what we do we can't even back out of the game. We have to hard close everything and restart EVERYTHING!!! Hub wifi. Gun Bluetooth all of it has to be restarted and if you're lucky you get to actually play it after that. When we did get 3 mins of playing they changed the reload time to a timed reload instead of instant. Yeah good luck with that when you're playing with kids. it's aggravating and a waste of time watching a progress bar running across the screen to reload your bullets when it used to be instant. Oh and the mic chat used to work (kinda) and now it DOESN'T work AT ALL. i NEVER review anything, but I dropped 150$ on the kit and some accessories and we end up with a trash toy that I wouldn't even sell at my spring yard sale. This was supposed to be a show stopper for 2017, not so much anymore after the last update. I seriously and sincerely hope you guys fix these issues. It was so fun before. If not, Its just another pointless, gimmicky crap game that goes in the junk drawer

Never too old
My husband got this for Christmas and it looked neat but I wasn’t too interested in playing it. Not much for FPS games, I’m more into open world games that aren’t just point and shoot. That being said, I loved this when I finally did play it. Actually running around, diving behind couches, sliding across hallways to get behind some form of cover...it was great. (A little background, I’m a middle aged, stay at home mom...so yeah 😅. Probably didn’t look as slick to others as I did in my head, but it’s not about looking professional, it’s about frags. Didn’t win, but that’s also not the point, well it is but whatever.) We didn’t have any issues with bugs, not saying you won’t but it’s worked great so far.
To the makers: It would be awesome if you could fashion a smaller weapon that could be used by kids. I helped my toddler battle his dad and he had fun but I had to waddle behind him and hold it because it was too heavy for him to use by himself. Not sure if you can make them any smaller or lighter but it would be great if you could.

SO MUCH FUN!
I just got Recoil today, and since then I’ve played nonstop because of how much fun it is. Haven’t seen any issues at all yet other than some connection issues, but that was indeed my fault not the app’s. This game has some serious potential if the creator can get a patent and create more weapons if variety. The build of the weapons is great too. Real sturdy plastic with only some minor manufacturing issues, such as the rear reticle being off center, though it makes no difference. I would love to see this game get real big someday, because I can see it getting there someday. If you’re reading this Skyrochet, please don’t leave this game in the dust. I was able to get my sister hooked on it, and she never likes this kind of stuff, so she’s picking up the rogue tomorrow. Seriously this game is so much fun and has some seriously extreme potential. So please please PLEASE. I wanna see more of this!!👍🏼👍🏼

No accessibility at all for voiceover users
I like the idea of hearing where your enemies are, using 3-D audio, because this would actually make it finally possible for visually impaired individuals to be able to play laser tag at last. The problem is, however, to make this a reality, there needs to be properly labeled buttons for the iPhones screen reader to work in conjunction with this application. Another alternative, if the screen reader aspect does not work, is to make audible menus, so that visually impaired individuals are able to navigate the menus. It really isn't that hard to do. There is no accessibility whatsoever. Please fix this.

Since reading this review, the app has been updated. Now, some of you may call this whining, and that’s fine. We all have opinions. The app is still not accessible to blind and visually impaired users. I just wonder, does the company even care about all the issues were going through?

Insanely cool!
so I got the starter set, put batteries in, etc. and started playing w/ a friend. IT WAS GREAT!!! This makes other laser tag sets look low quality. First, the way the gun kicks back at you is unreal! That is only one feature that I found nice about Recoil. The fact it uses a Game Hub makes it better, because this way you can see campers and have an important factor in fun games: POWERUPS!!! Airstrikes, insta-kill, armor, and more! The ammo setting is cool, too! For indoors you can spitfire with the cost of a long reload, and for outdoors you can instantly reload for a limited time and find more ammo! Don't listen to the bad reviews, (haters gonna hate XD) just keep improving!!! Maybe single player, or new powerups (RPG, medkit, even claymore???)
Please keep working on this. Even if you don't, this game still makes other laser tags look cheap (I'm not the only one who thinks this :3 ). Bai!!!!!! :D

Exhausting!!!
My son requested this for his birthday. Everyone had a very exhausting day. All the players had no problem setting up. First game was awkward. We all got the hang of it on the second play. Hours of play time if you turn the recoil option off. The hub suggests 3.5’ elevation but I placed it 10’ high. 8 players with blasters on an acre of land and no one lost connection to the hub. It’s ideal for nerf enthusiasts without all the clean up and setup. Managing everyone is simple with the the app tracking shots. Running out of ammo is easy if you camp. Walking around you happen across ammo and armor. There are crates the have upgraded the include air strikes, biological weapons and land mines. After purchasing the equipment and already having a smart phone it set me back a few hundred but it was well worth it. Keep the improvements coming. Going to purchase a few grenades soon.

Keep patching and add the ability for custom sounds
Recoil is insanely fun but still needs tweaking here and there, but what I think is the most important thing to add is the ability for the game master to customize sound effects before they start a match. For example, you can replace the incoming fire sound of bullets flying over your head with the sound of a MG42 firing in the distance, or have a the sound of a diving Stuka, becoming louder and louder, instead of the air strike siren.
It would be best if YOU let US upload our own sounds instead of making them yourselves, because we all want different things.
Otherwise very great would recommend but I REALLY would like the ability to tap a button under a certain category and change it. You should also make savable presets too while you’re at it.

Pretty cool, but has a better potential
Takes 15-30 minutes to setup one starter pack, which is not bad. It was too cold to play outside, so we did indoor skirmish. It said it used augmented reality, but I didn’t see any AR on my screen but that's cool tho. But as others have pointed out, the true potential lies in going in your backyard or neighborhood cul-de-sac and doing story mode with like a zombie invasion with AR or something. It should be like halo or SpeedRunners or most Xbox games: a story mode, with online or local multi-player. I want to be able to have a one person or co-op story mode, be able to connect my wifi hub to the internet and play with AR with my friend who lives on the other side of the country, and of course, the same local multi-player it has now.
