Description

Reigns: Game of Thrones is the heir to the award-winning HBO® TV series Game of Thrones® and the smash-hit swipe ‘em up series Reigns from Nerial and Devolver Digital. Through the fiery visions of Melisandre, claim the Iron Throne as Cersei Lannister, Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, and more to carefully navigate the complex relationships and hostile factions of the Seven Kingdoms. Employ ruthless tactics to outwit political rivals and wield impervious charm on your fickle bannerman. Maintain the balance and favor of the people to extend your reign and maybe, one day, survive the horrors of the coming winter.

A Formidable Cast: Rule from the Iron Throne as Cersei Lannister, Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister, Sansa Stark, and more. Change between each king and queen you unlock to face challenges and mysteries unique to their story.

Impose Your Will: Swipe left or right to change the fate of the Seven Kingdoms forever as you hear the impassioned pleas and unpredictable demands from the people of Westeros. If a particular character becomes bothersome, tear their card in half to unburden Your Majesty with their concerns – but at what cost?

Reenvision Westeros: Melisandre’s visions are your playing field and extend beyond the TV series to imagine the many fates of those that would sit upon the Iron Throne. Rebuild the Great Sept of Baelor as Cersei or discover the path of the Seven Kingdoms if Sansa Stark had married Jaime Lannister.

Regal Mini Games: Even the most powerful rulers need to set aside their worries and partake in more trivial matters now and then. From jousting to tavern brawls, these distractions aren’t without consequence!

A Grander Reigns: Fans of the Reigns series will be delighted with the biggest, deepest entry in the series that does not simply retell the stories you know but rather lets you create new adventures at your whim.

Iconic Soundtrack: Decide the fate of Westeros and those that reside in your land to the soaring score of the HBO series by Ramin Djawadi.

Great game! But...,
Wow, love it just a few things...
O love this game a lot, worth the money, I was gonna start complaining about how their was no battlefield play or whatever but their is which is cook I only wish it was more graphic, such as with each move you make on the battle field it will tell you how many men you have left and what had happened, it will show you the strength between both armies you are fighting against, It would also be nice if their was a part in which you could be a lord or a lady instead of a king or queen EX: Lord of tyrell or lady of dorne, I also wish you could travel anywhere but not freely only when the time comes such as to Dorne, or storm lands, or the iron islands. I also wish when the time comes you could place castles under siege or take over castles. One very important thing they should add is a graph or something that when your playing shows you all of the kingdoms that make up the seven kingdoms and see if they are united or not, and to show which houses are dead and which aren’t. Another suggestion should be that you could have love and children with any character and you could have a crowning ceremony if you do wed. I also think their should be a lot more instances with battles. Their should also be a bar in which it shows you who work for you such as Hand of King and Master of whispers and it should allow you to appoint new ones. Overall this game is AMAZING!!! I love it, worth spending your money on.

This game is legit! I already love the reigns games, and in my opinion this is the best one! Easy to pick up and play, and you don’t have to know anything about GoT to understand the story. I’ve not watched or read or played any of the other novella of Westros (other than the Apple Arcade game), and yet I still know the characters and they’re place, who they are, and what they’ve done. Obviously there is not as much depth in this as the show or book, but for a game where you swipe right or left to try not to die, it’s incredible! It’s pretty easy to die in this game, which I guess is similar to the show (don’t most of the main characters die?), so when you last many moons you feel like a champ. 5/5 would recommend this game to anyone, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other thing that separates. This really does appeal to everyone. All of these games do😁 (worth every penny, by far, best paid mobile game in its class)

Unexpected
I didn’t know what exactly I expected when I downloaded the game. Maybe a solitaire type game with a plot since it has been categorized as a ‘card’ game. The cards are more of just a back drop. The game is brilliant tho. Well made, exciting, unique, and true enough to GoT to please any fan.

There are a few features I believe the game is missing which is the only reason that I did not give it 5 stars. There needs to be a way to see the effect of your choices in a type of chart showing which houses are loyal and in open rebellion same with people. I often find myself confused by who is an ally and who isn’t. The game just felt limited to the main interface, which isn’t awful, I just wish it had a little more depth to better help the player make educated decisions and give the player a sense of accomplishment by seeing the way the houses and lord of Westeros shifts.

Other than that FANTASTIC game that I would recommend to anyone who is a fan of the franchise or just looking for a fun, casual game you can pick up and put down at any time.
Kay Stark,
Amazing, but...
This is extremely entertaining and very satisfying for a fan of both Reign and GOT. But the inconsistencies in each play though are pretty big. For instance, I’ll make the Iron Islander my Master of Whispers, only to go BACK to war against them, and for him to ask for an office again, to which he “stares blankly” at me for offering it to him while he’s in the office, as any other master of whispers would, it even gives me the option to execute him so he can fill the vacancy (This just removes him from the game outright). It seems like the game doesn’t take into consideration choices you’ve made to impact future ones. I’ll make peace with the Lannisters by cutting their credit, but they’re my enemy again by the next small council meeting.
Alex_hicks05,
Very Very good game
I was very very very excited for this game whenever i seen it pop up for preorder in the AppStore over a months ago, and since it’s release I’ve played it basically everyday. (On my “screen time” in settings on iPhone it says that this game has been my most played game over the past week at like 12 hours or something) it’s a very fun game and just before writing this review i “beat” the game. I have to say that at first it was a bit buggy (to be expected) but after the last update it has been a lot better and therefore a lot easier to progress. This will be a game that i will continue to play for a while because it reimmersed me into the game of thrones world. So much so that whenever i first started playing i thought i might be getting spoilers for season 8. lol the only reason I’m not giving a complete 5 stars is bc sometimes the not main characters faces change depending on who you’re playing with but they will have the same name so you just have to remember the names.
Lingivey,
A card game rogue-like
I really want to love this game. It captivates the feel of being an actually character in “A Song of Ice and Fire”. The writing is great and it does feel like you are actually sitting on the Iron Throne and trying to rule the seven kingdoms. After playing this game for a few days I started to understand some of nuances and I was able to better make decisions. It’s fun to role-play but it is also fun to go crazy and make random decisions.

My only issue is that it is pretty random just like a rogue-like. I appreciate that making similar decisions in certain situations sometimes doesn’t always play out the same way ( might even get you killed ) but sometimes it’s just too random. I was ruling as Lord Snow and my play through was pretty balanced. I fought a war, made safe travel to Winterfell... then I caught an unexpected fever and died. Maybe something I did caused this but I don’t know... I will continue to play this because it is fun seeing different scenarios but it’s only cause I like feeling miserable after failing in new and surprising ways.
IgorN,
Needs auto save
Not bad. I really enjoyed Reigns. And I love ASOIAF. Should’ve been a no-brainer. Sadly it’s lacking on a couple fronts. One: why all the ridiculous made-up names? You literally have hundreds of characters to pull from in the book’s and show’s mythology, and yet the bulk of cards display made up names. I get it’s a Reigns game, and thus the names are randomized in a similar fashion. But they changed some game elements for this release (like multiple rulers). Why not change this as well?

The bigger issue though is the lack of mid-game save. I was literally on year 60, with two new objectives checked off, then got a phone call, had to run an errand, came back, and all was lost. This is pretty sloppy given the devs were able to do this on their previous games. I’d love to see this fixed.
Calvin C.,
Love it, but saving is rough
I’m really enjoying this game, already put in more time than I care to admit, but I’m having an issue, and hopefully it’s just something I’m missing?
It never seems to save, except when I die. Every time I come back to the game I’m greeted with the last death screen I saw. I have the same encounters with the Red Woman, start another game, play a few cards, but unless I die again if I put the game away (even just going Home and coming back in a couple hours, no force quit) I’m back at my last death.
Is this a bug, or is there some Save mechanism I’m missing here. Hoping it’s one of the two, and this isn’t a decision to encourage blowing through the game…
MrPokey,
Great game, but one flaw
Great game and probably my favorite of the Reigns series, but it has one major flaw that is not in the other games of the series. The major flaw is that progress is not saved if you switch apps or step away from the game. Please fix or add!

Update 10/24:
The developer responded to my review and it is super awesome that it seems like they are responding to every concern! Apparently the issue of suspended progress was supposed to be fixed, but I am still having issues. I started my progress and then immediately went to the home screen(I did not close the app). After about 30 minutes, I would launch the app and my progress was reset to the last death. Maybe I’m doing something wrong?? I’m using an iPhone X with the latest updates for my phone and the game (1.09).
Oabrown,
Would be better if resources made sense
This is not a role-playing experience or kingdom simulator. The words don’t matter; you will grind up your grandmother for dog meat if it moves the right resource in the right direction. If one gets full or empty, you die. It shows circles over resources that will be affected by each choice, but not whether it will go up or down, and it is inconsistent. It only makes sense about 3/4 of the time. Attacking might raise or lower your “sword” resource. Closing the brothels costs coin. You might think, then, that opening them would make coin, but you would be wrong. That costs coin, too. There are no instructions whatsoever. Accepting a beverage or refusing it might do god-knows what to your resources for god-knows-what reasons. There is too much weirdness to list.
