So helpful
Big pros: saves time. Claims get into the insurance company database for processing faster. Refilling is a million times easier. Reimbursify customer service by email has always been responsive, helpful, and personalized.
Cons: I wish they had a web app I could use on desktop, which is just easier for doing these claim forms. I’ve had a couple fiddly issues with selecting the correct claim image when filing in the app.

But this app has saved me probably 10 hours of time and at least 2-3 weeks faster claim processing. The biggest benefit to my mind is that you can copy a previous claim and reuse it when you have repeating claims for the same clinician and amount - such as therapists. Cigna had a bad track record of losing at least 2 of 10 claims; which I would not know for a long time and then have to call and check on (and hang on hold for the nice rep in Costa Rica or Philippines to help refile it). Now all I have to do is reuse the previous claim and resubmit it. Game changer.

I filed claims and Aetna credited my deductible
Submitting out-of-network claims to insurance is the biggest pain in the neck usually. I had to print out the receipt with the claim form, put it into an envelope to mail in, and then wait to see whether it was accepted. When I did this for Aetna last year, I never heard anything, and it wasn’t until this year that I found the page on the Aetna website showing that they had received my claim, but they were waiting on information from my therapist. I never received any notification about this.

So, this year, I learned about Reimbursify from my therapist’s website. I figured I would give it a try, because clearly my previous claim with Aetna had wound up in the dead-letter office. I filed a dozen claims from last year and this year. Within a day, they were submitted to Aetna, and a couple of weeks later, all claims had been applied to my out-of-network deductible! It is easy to see which claims are still processing, and once the EOB comes through, you can move each completed claim to the “completed” pile.

I bought the volume discount package which allows me to file each claim for $2. It is totally worth it compared to the hassle of printing out forms on paper which are impossible to track. Not having the headache of wondering where my claim went off the rails is another reason. This is an indispensable application if you are paying for a therapist.

BRILLIANT APP
I cannot thank the team that developed this app enough. In a family of five it has been confusing and time consuming to manage all of our out-of-network claims.

Using this app I no longer have to:

1.) keep track of which forms to use for each out-of-nextwork bill (e.g., medical, specials, behavior health, etc.)

2.) use home supplies (e.g., printer paper, ink, stamps, envelopes, etc.)

3.) keep physical files of the bills that have been submitted and remember to follow up on the status of our reimbursement

Reimbursify does ALL of that for me! Once you enter your insurance information (i.e., initial set-up) it couldn’t be quicker to submit. I timed myself - it takes me less than one minute to file!

I sincerely appreciate that the Reimbursify team provides this service for a nominal fee. Another app that offers help filing out-of-network claims takes a PERCENTAGE of your Reimbursement!! I think it may be as high as 10%. That’s a sizable chunk of change especially when compared to the $1.50/claim that Reimbursify charges!

I cannot say enough about this app! I wish the team that designed Reimbursify enormous success!

P.S. I didn’t even mention how Reimbursify helps you if your claim is rejected. If you have to refile your claim, Reimbursify will not charge you any fee for re-filing!

Super helpful for OON/cash based clinics!
We (cash-based, OON practice) have been using Reimbursify for several years. We absolutely love it! We did not have a billing department, so we naturally did not want deal with ANY insurance dealings! We had our clients pay our full OON charges, gave them a Superbill and directed them to our website link to Reimbursify. Easy and done! We could go to the Practitioner portal to check on our patients' reimbursements if we wanted to. On top of that, we could email/call Reimbursify with questions and always talked or email with a real person that solved our problem! Highly recommend!

Do not use
This app is DoorDash for health insurance — including the part where not all restaurants accept DoorDash. Used this app to file several out of network claims. Waited a month only to find out, upon following up with my insurance, that my insurance does not accept claims unless mailed in by the patient/customer. The insurance told me “we don’t do that” in no simpler terms. Emailed customer service at the app (there is no phone number to reach them — red flag) explaining the situation and asking for a refund. They “followed up” with insurance and said it would take longer for the claims to be received. The claims from them, even if sent, were never processed or considered received by my insurance. I then had to send my claims in myself, now a month behind schedule. They would not give me the money I spent on the claims submissions despite asking for a refund and providing the exact amount. Made a difficult situation even more difficult. It should not be my responsibility to know if your app’s service is compatible with my insurance.

Error claims; service team delays
As medical professionals, we thrive for providing timely and quality service that is why we look to services such as Reimbursify to streamline the process. However, it has been proving to me more of a headache rather than something that helps my practice.
It has been causing a strain between me and my clients because I promised them that I can submit the claims for them through this software. However, my clients are getting “error claims” stating that the software is submitting “incomplete claims”. One reported that it was sent by reimbursify to the wrong office. Honestly, I would understand mistakes as it is part of being human but what makes this worse is their customer service, goodluck getting a timely response from them. This has been a stressful experience and I even bought the one year subscription which makes it worse, waste of money.

Wonderful customer service!
I have filed 4 claims over a few months with Reimbursify and my insurance didn’t accept my 4th claim. It was the same exact claim I had filed two previous times. I contacted my insurance and they had an issue with the address that was clearly incorrect from what I had submitted. I then contacted Reimbursify’s customer care and simply asked about how to refile the claim but instead THEY took the initiative by calling my insurance, settling the matter and then refiled it for me! I was so impressed! They did what they advertised and swiftly. It took 2 days from the time I emailed them to the time it was refiled. Great job and keep it up!

Very helpful, great customer service
This app has made submitting my out of network claims so much easier than doing it manually myself. And every time there's been a glitch (usually due to insurance company shenanigans, or some coding issue) the Reimbursify staff has been very responsive and helpful. My doctor's office provides this service to their patients as a courtesy and it's made it much more appealing to go out of network for better care, now that it's easier to use my insurance to get paid back in part.

Incredibly Useful
This app helped me follow my out of network reimbursement. Before this, it was so hard to follow what my family was being credited and where we stood. Now this makes it so easy! The app reminds you to look for the payment or explanation of benefits after a certain amount of time goes by. I am sure I missed possible reimbursements in the past. With 3 kids, it is so hard to follow and this totally simplifies the process. Thank you thank you thank you to the people who though of this!

Super Fast Medical Claim Filing
I was able to type in a few fields, take pictures of my latest out-of-network medical bill, and voila: claim filed. Usually I have to print my statement, print the long claim form from my health insurance company, get an envelope, affix a stamp, address the envelope, fill out the form, and then mail the claim. With this all, I did that entire process without leaving my chair and in less than 5 minutes from sign up to claim submitted. Can’t wait to get my first check from my health insurance co!
