Great game but small suggestion
This game is amazing I love dnd and i love fighting games like raid shadow legend so this game is perfect for me. The game explains things very easily for new beginners and doesn’t overload you with too much info. I love the chance in fighting with the dice rolls to change how you hit someone. One thing I would love if they added/changed it where there was a max level button so I don’t have to tap so many times to level someone up. My favorite thing though is the dice mechanic where you can change out the dice for each of the attacks and level them up as well, i don’t know why I love it though.

Eh. Could be worse.
This game has some interesting things, such as upgrading your dice to literally turn a d6 into a d8, which I think is pretty cool and isn’t something I’ve seen in anything else, mobile game or otherwise.
But ultimately, it only takes like an hour to get to the point where you can turn on auto-battle and 2x speed and win every fight… and combat is easily the least interesting part of this game, on auto or manual. Which, you know, a game kinda needs to be interesting when the main gameplay is combat.
Something like Arknights maybe could get away with uninteresting combat, because the interest is from Operator placement and sort of “solving the puzzle” of each mission, but I honestly think even Arknights has more interesting combat.
On the bright side, despite definitely advertising “Beginner Packs” and “Epic Packs” or whatever (seriously, I don’t know what that other review was talking about), you definitely do NOT need to buy either $10 pack, or anything else. At least so far. (Just downloaded like 2 hours ago and got to board 2) So it does at least seem very f2p friendly at this point.
Ultimately, if you’re bored and looking for a new game, I think you could burn several hours or even days with this… but I don’t think it has much staying power. Although, to be fair, I didn’t even give the story a chance. Maybe that could help some. Arknights has a good story, so maybe I should’ve given this a chance. Oh well, too late now.

tiresome & goblins
I was hoping for a long term game, but my enjoyment ended early.
The dice rolling is clever and fun. For about a day. It then becomes tiresome when you miss your rolls and have to loop around the board and hope for better luck next time. During which, you’ll eventually land on a goblin who will sabotage your forge. Repeatedly. Because the game tries to extract the joy from your soul.
*** Devs, the goblin mechanic is rubbish. They add zero entertainment to the game. Even less when 3+ goblins are in the forge. Limit them to one spot or get rid of them entirely. ***
*** The UI is much too slow. Long wait between dice rolls on game board. Gambling is double slow (get rid of second dice roll). Battles need 4x speed. ***
If you’re FTP, your game will effectively end after 2-3 days when your XP level hits a brick wall. Around level 28-29 in chapter 4 versus L35 baddies.
Your only meaningful XP comes from completing story quests, but you’ll be too under leveled to win the battles and thus cannot complete the quest in order to gain XP. Full stymie.
Upgrade your gear if you have the gold, but you’ll run out of coin and still be too weak.
Summon more heroes? But the summon scrolls are very few and far between. Save until you can summon 10x for best results. That will take many days to stockpile. More scroll rewards are desperately needed.

Tedious Game
I tend to enjoy stories and building up characters, and this game was fun at first. They game gives you plenty to ways to upgrade your character, but progression slowed down to a halt quickly. Since progression is dependent on landing the right square on the board, you can go around the board for hours and not progress in the story. Since you really only get XP from story progression, your characters’ levels will be capped pretty low until you complete story quests with some lucky rolls or use a good chunk of gold to get special movement items just. The numerous fights you get into only give crafting mats but not gold, and you’ll need gold to upgrade almost everything on your characters. It just feels like I’m stuck going in circles a lot, which I am literally doing around the board.

I think it has potential for dice and RPG elements however it is utterly uninteresting no visual effects with combat or dice rolling it kinda just is after it falls so the seems almost like the dice let the path be the same the cards do help slightly but the lack of graphics is one hour play and if your really bored maybe a few more before trying to find another game to play sorry for negative input but I do think with some more FX that makes the player feel like they are more in control by actual chance getting through the campaign it would be let’s find out more about what they can accomplish as well as not wanting to stop until they see the end of the campaign. Visually appealing slightly more than I lead on in comments that’s why 3 star’s instead of 1or2..

This game is really cool but fails in a big way….
After all their development for a fun and unique game they failed to reward the player. I’ve played a couple hours, and havnt gotten a single mystical scroll besides the one in tutorial. I’m more than happy to spend money on games I like, but these developers are so stingy I don’t feel like my money will be worth it. Even after completing first map, there’s no real reward. Achievements are weak. Let me get excited about character collecting…. As of now it feels like a huge money grab, even though I don’t feel like it is, just developer inexperience.
On a smaller note, the wait times between dice rolls is torture, and battles also need to reward more. I’m about to quit landing on a red sword every other turn only to get meager resources.

This game would rate 5 stars if it worked as well as it should. The story and characters are interesting, the game is challenging but not impossible, and there are lots of different things to do. Unfortunately, I am seldom able to play more than 10 minutes without it crashing. Then it takes about a minute and a half to reload. They tell me it’s a work in progress and they’re trying to fix this but so far the updates I have seen have been geared toward expanding the game rather than fixing what is already there.
UPDATE: After a couple more updates to the game that expanded it without fixing what was broken, I’m bailing out. Too bad. It could have been great.

Fun game, but crashes and no dev support
I really enjoy playing this game, but it crashes often. The biggest problems I have with this game is that there are limited entries to certain events, and if it crashes during one of these, then the entry price is lost with no way to accomplish the daily completion quest because of it. The other issue being that there obviously isn’t a “randomness” built into the dive throws during board movements. It is clearly adjusted to make certain tiles have a higher hit ratio when near.
I am giving this game one star because of my other gripe, which is that I have submitted multiple support tickets to the devs, and have not had a single reply or attempt to address the issue. I would love to give this a four or five star review because I really do enjoy playing it otherwise.

Fun game mechanics, too bad by level 32, you'll hit opponent difficulty without the ability to replay missions or raise your troops power enough to battle through. You'll need better gear (gotta pay $), better dice (again, pay $), better heroes (you guessed it, $).
This is all by the 4th "campaign" (out of 10, I think). You can sorta replay the campaigns you finished, in Relic mode, but it comes at a 3x cost of energy per roll. So a huge grind to maybe pick up new gear or dice, but it will still only be at lower levels (white green and blue)... Purple, Orange, Yellow (the best stuff) will of course cost $.
You get no xp for winning battles (which would help greatly) and no mechanics to get better dice, even if it was a small chance. Guild rewards are exactly the same every time the guild completes something and they are of no help to you. Would be good if they mixed it up and had chances to get higher gear and dice, etc...

Not bad, too many crashes, too much push to spend
It's a fun game but gets tedious fast. Aside from the frequent crashing (which causes you to lose everything if in battle) the game has way too many forms of currency each of which is required for purchases of different kinds. The only reason for doing that is to always keep the player spending cash. It seems like you're getting good value when you dish out $5 or $10 for a booster pack full of coins and jewels and energy and items and more but when you have to also have too accumulates any number of other types of points or relics or shards or . . . It goes on and on. It's just too much.
