A musical match-3 RPG brimming with pirates, ships, loot, and more gold than you can shake your rusty hook at!
Move your pirate around the board by matching 3 or more tiles. With each match, the board shifts in the direction you swiped. This is what games should be. Creative, clever, fun, and not filled with game killing mechanics that require you to buy in-app purchases. You buy it once and it is yours, no reserves. More people that like matching games should play this!

Difficult to win
Difficult to advance or win since I keep fights as the levels progress. No way to win since never enough swords in higher levels

I was enjoying this game until I got stuck — I am frozen on a screen where the only valid move is to move myself. No way out, no way to quit the level. Developer does not respond to bug reports or emails.

This game is lethally addictive, boys and girls, so consider yourself warned. I'm on Level 24 now, and it's really starting to be fun, what with the LOADS of power I can amass, using, among other things, these special items: (SPOILER ALERT) the escape door (need that above all!), the blunderbuss gun (to lower your opponent's power), the power-up that gives you the instant boost, and the two alchemy items: the one that turns all of a single item to gold, and the one that turns gold into power. These two work in conjuction, I find; in one scenario, using them both, I had 197 power points, not even counting the extra 42 I would get if I used the boost. I was able to easily finish off all the enemies with 86 power to spare, and I never even used the boost.
I did have to shell out the 2.99 for extra tokens (gold) earlier in the game, a small price to pay for having this much fun. Watching your character evolve is also fun - mine went from a pathetic-looking peg-legged s.o.b.(with a bodice, no less, because that gave him the most defense at the time) to ...drum roll, please.....Mr. Fabulous, complete with all the non-scurvy-like bells and whistles. Hot stuff. Highly recommend. Arrrr.

Don't deprive yourself of this booty!!!
I didn't expect to have every day of the last 2 months of my life filled with ships, swords, & skeletons. I didn't expect to be enchanted with beautiful, textured artwork behind every menu. I didn't expect to laugh out loud repeatedly while reading the descriptions for every item I came across. And I didn't expect to fall in love with this game. Alas, I think I just did. Actually, I've been in love since May, when I introduced Scurvy Scallywags to my iPod 5.
This is, without a doubt, my most played iOS game to date... & I have some tremendously good games on here!! Somehow, this little gem of an app took over them all from day one.
I'd like to express my appreciation to the developers for creating such a devilishly fun, supremely polished work of art that I have been genuinely excited to tell friends & family about. You've made something truly great here!!
The IAPs are minimal & non-compulsory (a breath of fresh air in the App Store), and when devs make something as good as this, customers will WANT to support it (& do so happily - I did, & I almost never get IAPs!).
Anyway, thank you so much, & to anyone still reading this (who does not yet have Scurvy)... Go take some Vitamin C!
