Great, but needs bug fixes
Been using this app almost daily for 2 years and everything has been great. That is until this most recent update. Now it is unbearably glitchy and I have a disruption in my stream that requires me to close the app and restart which means I now know the Dubin Law commercial by heart. This issue is during both WiFi and data streaming and is just kind of a pain. Other than that great content and people!

Great Show w/Real & Different Personalities
Been listening since the beginning, more so since ~2012. I enjoy Brock’s understanding of ‘the game’, particularly for football. He gets athletes no matter the game, and has learned more about baseball. While I don’t think Salk and I would ever be friends (he is an elitist and needs to be right), I love his LOVE for baseball and generally think he is spot-on in baseball topics. The interns have generally been good through the years. I like the dynamic with Justin and Maura, although she can be too negative. All of this is to say, the show is perfectly flawed, with actual personalities and not just people spewing words to fill air time. I’m glad Salk came back to Seattle. Get rid of ranked (hideous spot) and fix the EXTREME battery drain the app puts on the device.

“Glitchy is kind”
I bought the Apple Xs around Christmas, traded in my 6R just to increase hardware capacity to receive 710ESPN AM app (Too long a story to write here how I came to that conclusion but all was for 710 reception.
The new phone worked reliably for awhile then ‘glitchy’. I have had others come to my house with their phones to try reception (rural north Clark Co. WiFi thru a dish, no wires out here). No one has been able to pull this station in!
Please Fix the app. Bad enough losing Brock and Salk to a once a week podcast, now I can barely ever get the station.
Maybe partner with SiriusXM and use their satellite?I would pay a subscription for reliable reception option.

Need an ad free option
This is my most used app and my most annoying app. I love the content. That’s not the issue. What is the issue is the 15 second video ad that runs before the content begins. It plays every time I change networks and use Safari. It also plays every time the app loses connection and then reconnects. I decided to finally write this review after having this ad play 17 times over a couple of hours this morning. That includes 5 times over the past 15 minutes while at Starbucks. This issue seems to be at its all time worst since the new year. Also, if the connection isn’t the best the video freezes and never progresses to the actual content. Please please please either fix this issue or offer a paid ad free option. I love the content and would gladly pay for it.

Great programming, horrible app
I’ve been listening to the personalities on 710AM and the Seattle Sports App for years. I never miss mariners pre-game shows and tune in to get my fix on all things seattle sports. And I will continue to listen…BUT the glitchy experience of this app is unacceptable. I will gladly listen to your advertisements which is how you make your money, but if I get geo-blocked from a Mariner Playoff pre-game show again, I’m going to lose my patience, delete the app and find other sources for my seattle sports news. Please fix this or at the very least, explain to your listeners how we can work past this issue. Good programs (5 stars), good personalities (5 stars), horrible app experience.

Good content, but app is full of bugs
Please fix these bugs.
1. When listening to any podcast “on-demand,” if you navigate away from the playing now screen even one time, you can never get back to it. So you can’t fast forward, rewind, jump forward 15 seconds, read the episode description, etc. This makes listening beyond frustrating. And when the window minimizes to the bottom of the screen, you cannot reopen it. So don’t bother clicking on it because you will want to throw your phone out the nearest window.
2. The “info” (circled i) button on the right of each podcast episode does not work at all. It literally does nothing.
3. You cannot read the description of any show without actually playing it first. This forces you to interrupt what you’re listening to merely to read the description of the podcast episode.
There are several more but these are the worst three that destroy one’s listening experience. How have these not been fixed? I will update my review once these very basic fixes are implemented.

Inconsistent functionality
I am an avid 710Espn Seattle listener. I very much enjoy catching up on show segments that I miss during the day. However, it is becoming very difficult due to the vast irregularities in functional operation of the app. Frequently I am unable to search the show uploads, the app will freeze and not allow me to view list of shows, let alone specific segments. If I am able to get to list of show segments, the description of segment details is not viewable. When selecting description button, segment will automatically play, rather than expand description. And lastly, there are times when the podcast will cease to play once the phone goes into lock or sleep mode.

Best radio show in Seattle
I’m a Seattle Native currently living in Peoria, AZ. Been listening to the show since Brock and Salk 1.0. Maura and Justin are amazing additions to the already great chemistry Brock and Salk have created over the last decade. I work 3rd shift so having the podcast to listen to in the middle of the night is amazing. Can’t thank you guys enough for the quality of show you guys bring day in and day out. If I could give the show 6 stars, I would.

Great Radio, Poor App
Seattle Sports is great content throughout the day. I’m thankful that I can listen when I live outside the market. But this app is so buggy, it makes me want to listen to smooth jazz instead (note: I hate smooth jazz.). The app disconnects from the stream for any conceivable reason. It’s often difficult to come to, regardless of being in strong cell or wifi. But worst of all, every time I connect I have to sit through the video ad — often several times in a row (because of disconnects). The result: I’m beginning to hate their main advertiser. I’m guessing that isn’t their goal.

Am surprised at low ratings for this app.
This app has been a great addition to my iphone, both at home and when travelling. It does a very good job of serving up the current broadcast as well as re-casts (podcasts) of recent shows. Some tweaks could probably make it better, but it's something I make use of every week and in some weeks, every day.
