Worst customer service and app ever. Buyer beware!
If I could give zero stars I would. When signing up for this app I agreed to paying the $39 for the year which was a highly discounted rate I was offered via email. When I went to actually sign up for it to give it a try somehow I was charged $159 for the year instead! When I reached out to get my money back the customer service rep Kendra refused to give me my refund and said there is absolutely no refunds on yearly subscriptions, no exceptions! I went back and forth and explained the issue I had and still have had no success with getting my money back! Not to mention the app itself is so basic. The workouts are way too easy and I would never in a million years pay $159 for it! Just don’t even try it! It’s not worth the headache and if you aren’t satisfied the customer service won’t do anything to help you. I’m absolutely shocked with how terrible I was treated!

I am fairly active. I am being modest when I say that. With the pandemic this last year that really messed with my sports leagues and gym time. I kept gaining weight. I had a terrible diet. I haven’t worked out for about a month and a half since I was feeling a little defeated. Within the first week of shift’s meal plan I lost 5 lbs, immediately. I am a believer. The app is super easy to use. You can see your meals for the week ahead of time, shop an in app shopping list, make changes & prep is easy! They do all of the work for you minus the shopping and prep. It’s all ingredients that are easy to find at your local grocery store. You just need to know where to look! No more counting macros. When you swap out a meal it automatically edits the macros by “shifting” the ingredient amounts. The shopping list is on point, too. Give it a try!

Overpriced and Dishonest
They advertise this app all over the place, and it sounds great at first but the charges are insane. They advertise the plan for $39 with a 30-day money back guarantee. But when you go through the purchasing process they try to upsell you with additional memberships and supplement products. They don’t mention anywhere that these additional charges are not covered under the 30-day refund period. You have to search in the terms and conditions yourself to find this out. Very dishonest company, and the app is pretty generic. MyFitnessPal is free and offers basically the same thing. Definitely don’t recommend purchasing, but if you do try it out be aware that you will probably be charged way more than you think. And if you don’t like the product you won’t get any help from their customer service.

SUCH A SCAM—BEWARE-DO NOT FALL FOR IT
After downloading the app and purchasing the bare minimum for this fitness program, I read the reviews and most people also had the same experience as me. Very deceptive. They say you can get a full refund after 30 days if you’re dissatisfied and I gave it not even 20 min after downloading and reading reviews, I quickly realized I made a mistake. I tried to communicate with customer service to cancel my subscription but you get automated responses and then they give you a phone number to call to cancel, and I’ve called FOUR TIMES….the automated response from the call says “hello, unfortunately we are unable to answer your call right now. Please try again later”
So disappointed in this company. It’s just like all weight loss scams out there. Don’t believe the hype and the so called “testimonies”

So far so good
I really like this app and program. The app is very easy to use. I can log my meals from Swift I can log my water and I can add food that I eat that’s not on the swift plan. If you click on the calendar you can see your meals for the week and then adjust your grocery list or change anything you don’t like!! I’m hoping to get some feedback from someone soon this is only my first two weeks. So so far is easy to stick to. Oh yeah the exercises there more challenging than you think and you feel pride whenever you get through it without getting short of breath on the second go around LOL

I would not recommend this app to anyone.
I had the same experience I read in another review - had the app for 4 days, and realized I just do not have time to refer to it or follow the program. I asked for my subscription to be canceled and inquired that I would receive a fill refund. I was informed but customer service that bc I paid a discounted price for an annual membership I would receive no refund at all. I’m extremely put off by this as I was offered a discounted price to be billed MONTHLY. I was charged $190 right away for a full year. If I had known they wanted the whole year upfront I likely would not have paid for the program. While I understand $190 is a fair price for a full year of a fitness program SHIFT was NOT transparent about their billing. Makes the program feel like a scam. I would not recommend it to anyone.

TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!
Disgusting excuse for a business. NOWHERE on the site does it mention what plan you will be getting. It states that you will pay $39 for everything listed. NOPE!! As soon as you purchase it they charge you $80! When I emailed customer service they said “oh this is a much better deal. The $39 is a monthly fee” WHAT!! I immediately asked to cancel and for a full refund because bait and switch companies are not something I will support. The rep came back and said I purchased a plan ineligible for refund even though their website CLEARLY states “money back guarantee. No questions asked”. I’m having to file a claim with my bank to get my money back as the rep refuses to respond to me now. I’m so disappointed in how this company is run. I wish I would’ve read reviews before buying. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

Don’t do it!
App is not user friendly and is very cookie cutter. The first login I wanted to work specifically on meal prepping and get together a grocery list. The app forced me to complete my first workout. I just clicked through it and stopped the video but it was so frustrating to not be able to freely maneuver through the app.
Same day I emailed and asked to cancel my subscription. After the initial sales tactics of offering “free” guides and other useless items they finally canceled my subscription. BUT the will NOT refund me for the 1 year of access that I have not and will not use.
Just annoying to get a subpar app for an apparently non-refundable full year prepaid subscription.
Don’t do take the bait like I did. Just try the full price monthly subscription (refundable) and save yourself the hassle and wasted money.

Expensive and Nonfunctional
I’ve only had this app for 4 days and have had way too many issues. I requested for my start date to be reset (an option in their customer support bot) so I could actually start on a full day but now 3 days later ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE to any emails or in the app’s support chat. I was also under the impression that there was a planner function to customize your meals and workouts in advance but instead I get logged out of the app, get a white screen, and/or no option to change the meals. For $80 a month, you’d think this would be a little more sophisticated but I feel dumb for thinking that 🤦🏻♀️ Definitely a lot of improvements to be had as it seems to have potential, I’ve requested to cancel my account, will see how long that takes 😕

Shift-y and Deceptive
I signed up this morning and was offered the discounted annual membership for $61 but was charged $100. I have alerted my bank who will be disputing the charge once it clears but I’d much rather solve the issue with customer service - trouble is, they're NON-EXISTENT!
The Shift website never told me it would be charging me $100 nor did it ask for a final confirmation to show my total amounts so I don’t even know what extra I was charged for to cause the $61 discounted annual cost to be $100.
If I had known this would be the way Shift does business, to advertise ‘discounts’ and not disclose extra charges, or even display a payment confirmation page detailing WHAT exactly you paid for, I would have passed it up as a gimmick for money.
I hope to hear back from someone soon to help work this issue out. But I won’t hold my breath.
