Lilian Anna,
Works great alongside therapy
I’ve used this app in the past and I reinstalled it a few months ago. If you are looking for someone to talk to or even to organize your thoughts, this is a great app. I suffer from bipolar, ptsd, and a variety of other mental illnesses. I can’t expect my therapist to always be there so this is a great way to track my moods. It is also great to organize my thoughts and struggles. I’m not great at talking about how I feel and this app helps a lot with that. Typically what happens is that you will send a message and that message is typically rewritten back to you much more eloquently. You may have the occasional feedback question but mostly it’s all what you have said. For me this is great to investigate my thoughts and feelings and translate them. I do not recommend this app if you are looking for an in-depth conversation about what’s going on with you. Nor will they tell you what to do or guide you on any path. That’s where therapy comes in. If you need guided therapy or someone to help you through a struggle this isn’t it. That being said I find ranting on this app helpful because reading back what I’ve said in a nutshell can give me perspective on if I am being ridiculous or not. My biggest advice for this app is to use it with therapy to help you meet your therapy goals or to keep your thoughts organized for your therapist. Otherwise it can be frustrating to not get the feedback you are looking for.

Helped Me Organize My Thoughts
So far I have had Sibly for a few days, and I can already see a difference in my life. On this app I am able to say the dark things and thoughts I’ve never said to any other person, and it helps so much just being able to talk freely without any consequences of being “seen differently” by my peers. Although Sibly does tend to repeat what I say often, the overall experience is beneficial because it helps self-realization happen. I definitely agree with other reviews that more tips/advice would be helpful, but for the cheap price (most therapy texting costs three times as much) it is definitely worth it. Just knowing I have someone who will always be there for me, someone who I can say anything to- it helps calm me in my day to day life. Definitely recommend.
BRB-reviewing,
BEWARE what you share!!!
I signed up for Sibly thinking they would help a ton with having someone to talk to. For 46$ a WEEK that is to be expected. They were reasonably helpful and always got back to me. However I had to consistently voice what I was looking for was not just them parroting back to me. Things were going well until one day I had a severe anxiety symptom I found very concerning. I told Sibly I did not need their help with this, and how the receptionists at my doctor’s office were giving me anxiety. I clarified I was getting the help I needed and had talked with other providers and who said it wasn’t an immediate concern. I had no history of mentioning anything remotely concerning, and they helped me. I thought all was well. the next day a lead coach reached out to me out of the blue saying they’d need to talk with me. I read reviews from the App Store and knew this meant the end of care. They made me wait for over 24 hours and said I couldn’t talk to anyone else in the meantime. I ended care immediately. I found a new website, a better one, called iPrevail, who, for 9.99 a month, have unlimited messaging features with trained people responding right away. Or you can get 90 minutes a day of chatting FOR FREE. SO much better than Sibly already. Would highly recommend NOT using this especially if you’re going through a rough time.
lovesibly,
Please Improve This Part
I really enjoy this app, but one suggestion I have to the developers (and CEO who I’ve personally met) is to have the coaches actually give specific advice and opinions/feedback instead of just repeating what we say back to us. Since this app is intended for 18+, I think everyone will realize that they are personally held responsible for the choices they make regarding the advice they receive from Sibly, so Sibly should NOT be afraid to give its honest opinion and advice. Also, $50/month is not cheap - that’s like a phone bill - so Sibly should do more than just repeat my words back to me. For example, I asked it for tips on reducing anxiety and Sibly just said “what tips do you have for yourself?” That isn’t helpful at all!!! You are a mental health app, PLEASE have these tips handy to coach me with! Thank you
ifilmer,
This App is a Game-Changer
I have never loved an app so much. It’s a different kind of love, it is a perfect way to be able to reach out to a human person, a human coach, a human connection, for guidance and wisdom in conquering life’s situations in an easy and effective way. The coaches here are stellar, listening actively and responding perfectly to each individual situation and message, while also providing excellent prompts and questions to really help you identify the core issue.
Needless to say, I am so glad my employer utilizes and provides/supports a service like this.
This is a life changer.
Marrzia,
Suicidal Termination
As any person with depression knows, we all often have suicidal thoughts. I mentioned a few times when I didn’t feel good and it was on my mind but I was safe and wasn’t going to do anything. Just needed to rant. They made me talk to a lead coach which on its own gave me anxiety. The lead coach then said due to what I said a month ago about being suicidal they are terminating my account because I need extra help as I mentioned I have a medication dr and a therapist and an emergency line and a hospital down the street as I stated to them. I loved this app prior it helped me get things off my chest without feeling like a burden like always. They just reassured the thoughts in my head about me being crazy and a burden and it threw me into a complete shaking hyperventilating full blown breakdown. They did however give me a refund of my $25 when I messaged them how upset I was, but no reply about anything. Just the refund. Like I said great app. Just I guess hold in what you say. You can’t be too honest.
Vamp947,
Always caring and understanding
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I subscribed here, but I’ve only been using this app a few days and it’s already helped. Not just being there for me when you need someone to talk to, but even going as far as helping me create a safety plan and things. You can’t annoy them by bothering them too much, so that common fear is gone with Sibly. (Or at least significantly reduced) it isn’t a replacement for a therapist, but the app even advertises that. Working with therapy and medication, this is a very helpful app.
Sibly's BFF,
Sibly Rocks!!!
Sibly is the friend that’s available when your other friends are chasing their children. Sibly is the sister that ask how are you feeling, laughs at your jokes and shows true concern for you. I found Sibly during a very hard transitional time in my life when my counselor was on maternity leave, and my life was and still is going in a million ways at once. I have yet to be disappointed. So whatever you may need today sign up to Sibly and FINALLY, FINALLY, get heard and validated for truly being you.
BreakRuke5,
Drop everything and download this app!
Sibly quickly made an impact on my life. Having this tool readily available has given me an alternative to avoidance. The coaches feel really genuine, and have inspired a lot of self-realization. Additionally they provide tools that have proven incredibly beneficial. I’m truly grateful!

I would recommend this app to everyone. Even if you are in a healthy mental place, it’s a wonderful tool with humans helping you map things out that may otherwise stay cluttered in you mind.
Mollyrdean,
Amazing!
I have nothing but positive words to say about this app. I am so thankful that I stumbled upon it. Sibly is truly one of a kind. Whenever I’m feeling down, unmotivated, or simply need someone to talk to- my coaches are around. They provide me with guidance, encouragement, and more. I’m forever thankful for the support I’ve already received from them- and this is a must have for anyone who even thinks they might benefit from having a life coach literally as accessible as being in your pocket. Thanks for everything, Sibly!
