Excellent new tool for unusual allergies!
I have a nightshade intolerance. This is rare and no one understands what it is. Swift allows me to scan a barcode and see whether or not food is compliant with I know nightshade diet.
I would like the app to flag which ingredient is the noncompliant one. I hope this is a feature coming soon or that may be it already does it and I just don’t know how yet.

Charges $2.99 per month for each individual thing!
I downloaded this and signed up excitedly because it said you could select the diets you wanted to follow and then it would flag the foods you scan and tell you if they have ingredients that you shouldn’t have. As someone who is vegan + can’t have wheat, dairy or eggs because they make me sick and am also trying to figure out what else is making me sick, I was excited about this. But then after getting the app and signing up I find out that each of those things I would select would be $2.99 per month, which is ridiculous. Deleted app.

Such an amazing app!
I’m obsessed with this app and recommend it to all my friends and family who are just embarking on trying to understand what’s in their food/read labels! I’ve been gluten/dairy/soy free for over 5 years now and the only thing I wish is that this app existed sooner! It’s so helpful for anyone with dietary restrictions who need to avoid certain foods. Can’t say enough good things about it it!

Great app
I love this app I use it every time I grocery shop. Soup for example omg all the chemicals so now I buy broth and add my own stuff to it 👍.I’m not paying for the extras but if I could afford it I would. I have a gluten allergy so paying to have the app help me with diet restrictions would be ideal.

Constant crashing
I’ve recently been put on a low fodmap diet due to ibs, and I figured this would be a great place to start. The only problem is that every time I went to scan an item, the app would crash. Every time I selected an item from the menu, the app would crash. The only reason I’m not rating one star is because it’s a really good concept, and there’s also a page that shows recommended foods for your diet, which gave me a good jumping off point.

Is amazing .. when it works
I would honestly pay $100 for this app a year! Honestly buttttt it does only work for me like 1/10th of the time. When it works it’s ball to the wall amazing!!!!!!!!! But as you can imagine going to the grocery story the first item scans and then rest don’t I have yelled “f” in the store more than once!!!!! I will just keep coming back and waiting until the bugs all get worked out ... I think they rushed it to market by about a year!

Great app, but no subscriptions from me.
This is a good App, and it does it says it does. But, I deleted it because it doesn’t have all of my food allergies and in order to unlock some “diets” you have to pay a subscription. I am hoping in the future, they might add more allergens and a pay all at once option.

It tells you, you can scan 5 items before signing up. As soon as you scan the 2nd item it blockes you. Telling you that you already scanned 5 items. You don’t even get the info of the 2nd scanned item. So, you only get 1 scan before they want your personal info and probably money. I deleted this junk app.

Very frustrating crashes on scan
Was previously working I updated the phone and the update broke it. I have since waited and installed the past 3 updates which did not resolve the issue, also uninstalled the app and reinstalled again it’s been continually happening so I have cancelled my subscription and uninstalled the app permanently. Very disappointed they could not fix a paid app within 6 weeks. Not wasting any more money
