As a single mom trying to navigate a very serious new allergy, Spokin has been a life saver. 👏🏼 I’m able to quickly find nearby places to eat and recipes. My particular allergy tends to show up in just about every restaurant, so I just ended up avoiding eating out when I first found out what my exact allergy is. Obviously, not eating out is good to do- but it’s not fun to never be able to eat out. 😋 This has really changed things for me and has made it easier to still enjoy going out without being scared all the time. It also shares feedback from others on how easy or difficult it was to navigate menus for allergens. Also just being so new to navigating my allergy challenge in general - and with my allergen having so many different names and being hidden in so many ‘base ingredients,’ Spoken has taken a big weight off my back showing which foods at the grocery I can have. I already have very little time to focus on myself with it just being myself and my daughter and working full time, and I was struggling to give myself the time to figure out what to eat with my new allergy challenges- literally the first week and a half I lived off only bananas and water 🤣 because I was too scared to eat and felt I didn’t have time to figure out what I can eat. Thankful this came and saved the day by doing all the hard work for me. ❤️🙌🏼

This app has helped me find so many safe products while dealing with multiple food allergies. Being able to see what other users have to say about products and restaurants has made me feel much more confident consuming new products. You are able to follow others with your list of food allergies as well as people in your area to see what they have to say as well! You are also able to search new recipes that will not include the allergens you have selected! I have been waiting years to find something like this app! The app not only focuses on food, but also on places that are allergy friendly. This has helped me learn more about fun things to do at places that are allergy aware. Their new tool allows you to plug in your own personal auto injector information and will not only alert you when they are about to expire, but also if there is a recall with your lot number! I have been diagnosed with a lot of food allergies. My top food allergy is tree nuts. Hazelnuts, almonds, & also sesame seeds. I absolutely love this app because it allows me to safely find foods that I am able to consume! This app is perfectly organized in which I can find restaurants that are safe, ingredients, recipes, as well as all of their verified partners that are allergy friendly. Another great perk about having this app is the special offers! You can get offers such as discounts off of foods, for example they have 30% off all orders on The Good Crisp Company that is going on currently in their app. I am 23 and love this app because it allows me to explore different options and love that there are safe options for me! Any parent with young kids will absolutely love this app because it will help them out so much! Highly recommend and would give them a 10/10 if I could give more than 5 stars!! I downloaded Spokin about a month ago to help manage my cashew and pistachio allergy and I can say that it has been helpful for much more than just that. You are able to view the allergens of restaurants nearby you on the map or search for particular reviews that contain your allergen. I have recommended this app to my aunts son who has many allergies. I would say one of the most helpful features has been the ability to look up restaurants in an area I may not be very familiar with so I have an idea of the type of nuts they use in their food.

If you or anyone you know has food allergies I would definitely recommend this app. The least you could do is give it a try!

Spokin is such a wonderful app for those with food allergies. It allows you to rate different food products, restaurants, hotels, amusement parks, ice cream parlors, etc., the list goes on and on. You can rate just about anything according to the allergies that you have. Reading reviews from others has been extremely helpful to me, especially on my recent trip to New York. I manage peanut and tree nut allergies and I spent about an hour going through the app finding all types of nut free restaurants based on other people’s reviews. I was able to eat so much yummy and safe food thanks to Spokin. The app also allows you to “warn” others about an unsafe product or restaurant. I highly recommend this app for anyone with an allergy or anyone who takes care of someone with an allergy.

The app is tailored to your specific allergy(ies). You can recommend food products, stores, doctors, hospitals, hotels, airlines, and the list goes on. There are verified companies, and they also provide guides, allergen statements, and new products. You can provide good or bad experiences and hidden allergens. Another key component is the auto-injector reminder which will send you a reminder it’s about to expire or if there’s a recall. I love this app and my only problem is I didn’t find it sooner! Thanks so much Susie and the Spoken team, they are amazing and always respond in a timely manner whenever I have a question.

This app has changed our lives. It has taken us from the scary dark closet of feeling so unsure of foods, restaurants, and venues out into the world to try new things! Where else can you see an entire world of people sharing what has been safe for their allergens? You can even message other people if you want to connect or have certain questions about a review they posted. It’s a game changer to say the least. It has opened so many doors for our family. Living with food allergies is such a scary walk.... the Spokin app has made it a little less frightening and a lot more manageable! I highly recommend to families struggling with the often times lonely path that food allergies can take you down. It has changed our lives.

Spokin has been super useful to me these past couple months. As a teen dealing with a LONG list of severe food allergies it’s so nice to find a community of people dealing with the same thing. If I ever want to eat at a restaurant, locally, at college, or on vacation, I can check Spokin for reviews at places in those areas. I’m even able to sort the reviews by users who have specific allergens. They also have alot of verified partners, reviewed products, recipes, and guides that are free of certain allergens and safe to eat. I wish I had found out about all the features this app had to offer earlier as they would have been super helpful when dealing with allergies. Definitely would recommend!!

This app is the MOST TRUSTHWORTHY, MOST ACCURATE, and MOST VERSATILE app for people with allergies! It has reviews from restaurants all over the WORLD, reminds you when your autoinjector is going to expire, and allows you to chat with the person who reviewed a restaurant or location to get more information and learn more about their experience directly from them! One of the best features about the app is the Verified Brands feature, these are food brands that have answered specific questions letting you know how they manufacture their items, and the questions are detailed enough to help you make a decision about if it’s safe for you. This app has been a life saver for me!
