Flexible options while on the go
I travel 2-3 weeks out of a month. Plenty of hotels have fitness centers which are great, but sometime unpredictable and often crowded when I have time to go. With this app, I can choose duration, select certain poses, set ocean waves as my background, choose my level depending on what I need. Sometimes 60 or 90 minutes for a work out, 20 minutes to relax before bed or help relieve a long workout outside of yoga. A travel mat and my iPad and I am ready to go.

Update is disappointing
I’ve been using this app for more than 5 years and this “update” is disappointing. I gave the previous version 5 stars but feel like this new version is only worth 3 stars. I have used a custom set of poses that added up to a 18 minute routine before the recent update. Now the same routine is less than 13 minutes. All the poses have been sped up. The instructors voice is also not as soothing as the previous voice. I’m feeling pressured to move through the poses quicker, not very serene. I could live with the “update” if I had the option to slow it down a bit.

Good yoga app
Even though this app gets five stars, I have a few complaints: the first is when you have to switch sides during an exercise, there’s no voice guide that will let you know to switch sides without having the instructions setting turned on. The second is there’s no transition between exercises so that you have time to properly perform the pose.

Just Perfect
Love this yoga app. I have it set to the days and times I want a reminder to go off. Easy listening and clear instructions So Happy with this app so I purchased the Pro. I’ve noticed a difference in my flexibility after only a week or two. Must have app!

I want to like it
I’m new to yoga, and I’m 60. For me it’s important to move slowly and deliberately, cause at this point in life it’s easy to tweak a joint or ligament. So, my main frustration with the program is the speed of the instruction. I’m on Level 1 basic mins and the instruction is simply too fast. What i would appreciate is a ‘pace’ setting by which I could increase the time between instructions, esp on beginner levels. As it is the program is unusable for me, which is sad, because I think I would enjoy doing the routines.

Custom workout routine lost
Just tried out the new version for the first time. We didn’t like the update! For one thing, our previously custom workout routine was lost. And some of the poses have also changed. The new routines seem to order poses in very different ways.

Poses are all ordered alphabetically. Creating a new routine requires knowing the exact order one wants; if one wants to add a new pose to the middle of the routine, one almost has to start from scratch by removing anything that comes before the desired pose. Would be better to allow more flexible in reordering poses.

Thank goodness they fixed the ‘fix’.
So glad to see the original routines mostly added back in(although they are sped up a bit and not always in quite the same order). Those routines were the best for me that I have found and was quite upset to see them initially gone. Thank goodness I updated again and had them added back. But I guess my custom routines are gone now.

Not happy with update
I’ve used this app for years and loved it - BUT the update has sped up the poses, doesn’t focus on the breathing, and the pre-programmed sessions don’t have the same flow. I like the additional poses but it’s lost something for me. I’ve created my own list (a nice feature, but the previous version had this as well) but as I noted there seems to be an effort to rush through the poses. Not liking it as much...😕

Loved it 3 years ago. Now, not so much.
I often use the 20 minute routines after a treadmill workout, or just to stretch out the tension that builds on any given day. The longer workouts are challenging enough to keep me using the app. Definitely worth purchasing the full version.

Updating my review after 3 years. I loved this app back then, but now there are much better, more flexible (no pun intended) yoga apps out there. This one is in need of a major overhaul.

Wonderful & Thorough
Definitely worth buying the full version of this & the work out app by these folks. It has really helped me develop enough confidence to stretch & work out at home & at the gym without the insecurity of “doing something wrong” or waiting/improper movements :)
