We’ve rebuilt our Mirror app from the ground up to offer a more flexible, reliable and feature-rich experience with Sketch.
With Sketch on your iPhone or iPad, you can:

- iPad support — Browse your Workspace, view documents, and play prototypes on your iPad! Better still, viewing documents on your iPad gives you a beautiful full Canvas view, giving you even more context and exposing all those little details that didn’t quite make it onto an Artboard.
- Open documents offline — No signal? No problem. If you’ve previously opened a Workspace document and suddenly find yourself without an internet connection, you can now re-open and browse that document (without mirroring or live updates), and play its prototypes.
- Open local documents — Along with offline support for previously opened Workspace documents, you can also open documents that live outside of your Workspace (in the Files app, or on a third-party service like Dropbox or Google Drive). You can also see Quick Look previews in the Files app.
- Handoff support — With a document open on your Mac, you can quickly open it on your iPhone or iPad via Apple’s Handoff feature. Likewise, if you’re viewing a document on your iPhone or iPad, clicking the app icon in your Mac’s doc will quickly open it for editing.
- Workspace search — Quickly find the right file by searching within your Workspace.
- Collections — Browse Collections of documents inside Projects, which we introduced in our latest update to the Mac and web apps.

Full screen prototype plz!
When running a prototype on my phone I can’t get it to go full screen even though the iPhone art board template in my sketch file matches my iPhone. How do I fix this?!

Really nice
A really good improvement from the previous Mirror app. Wish it had the offline capabilities too but the new features, ability to share documents and all right from the iPhone is really a welcome feature!

Not visually accurate
Unlike previous version, the new version uses their cloud system which means things aren’t guaranteed to look the same as on desktop. Fonts and icons don’t load on the app making it hard to test app designs. Revert to screenshots in this case. Not a good app for the money I have to spend every 12 months. Unfortunately there’s little competition.

I’ve been a long time supporter of sketch… even as I’ve seen basically everyone switch to Figma.
I just can’t understand why they can’t get mirroring done. Honestly it’s so so important when designing for mobile. And it should really be a top priority.
I don’t use their subscription service, so I guess this app is useless? And it looks like they’re giving zero attention to the older mirror app… which means I’m straight out of luck.

Just white screen
Wet very often instead of design I see just white screen, but thumbnail shows it. Connection to Mac is ok. Also, asks for subscription for a very non intuitive UI… I just have no other options, but I wish I can use another app. Really bad.
After a couple of days now another problem- it’s not updating specifically one artboard. Just whatever I change in it - not updated in this app.
And you asking money for this?!
You should really consider make a free version workspace, with limit of 1 file/project.
Otherwise your company will end, because we have Figma!

It’s a great tool but mirror doesn’t work for me
I keep using the old mirror app because the “mirror” icon just doesn’t show in my app ever… same Wi-Fi, Bluetooth on, handoff on… pls fix!

Crashes after loading a large 100mb prototype.
Suggestion
Sketch team please invest in product testing and quality assurance. I would rather wait for stable release then see an app that is crashing.

Just as bad as Mirror
Had high hopes for this. Can’t open my file. Tried to close Sketch on my MacBook first, hoping it would help. Still can’t access files on mobile.

Useless for local files
Please please please make it work with local files. I just want to preview what I’m working on. Sketch mirror is broken btw, so had high hopes for this :(
