Lots of potential!
This app was fairly easy to use although there are a few suggestions I have. First, the ability to adjust the positions, rotations, and scales of the layers. As of now all the layers stack in the center and I can’t move them around. Second, it would also be great if there was a way to duplicate a slide so if you wanted to have two that were similar but with slight changes then you don’t have to fully remake it, you’d just be able to duplicate it and swap out the desired layers. Lastly, it would be great to have the option to share a slide or a group/folder of slides with someone. So if they owned the same target object, for examples sake let’s say a sticker of an apple illustration, then I could send them a viewable, noneditable link to my collection of slides that, in this case, matches the sticker and since they’d own a copy of the target image, the sticker, then they’d be able to have the slide’s layers via the link and view the AR creations I made. The projection quality is great though although I’d also recommend adding an option that forces the AR projection to be in top of the target object so that it doesn’t clip whenever there’s a slight interference with the camera’s view of it, maybe a threshold slider or something for the target detection. Overall great app though and looking forward to seeing the additions made to it! ✊

Amazing sharing improvements
I’ve been using this app since it came out, and the new sharing mode is a game changer. I’m now planning to use it for some artwork exhibitions I have lined up and let people see my art in AR!

Failed application

Good potential but clunky UI
This app has the potential to create some great artwork but I am pretty frustrated with the navigation. It seems like there is no way to navigate back to the homepage once you are on any other page, like the adding slides page or the set target page. Also once you add a layer I’m not sure how to delete it. At the moment whenever I make a mistake with adding layers or slides I find it easier to just restart the app, because there’s no way to cancel a slide while you’re working on it.
In the future I’d also like a better way to share slides with people besides for taking a video. I’m having fun playing with this app but the navigation is very frustrating.

Cool but needs work
The app itself is pretty cool but seems to be unstable and I’ve lost work on projects because it closed while in editing and then will not open the project again and just exits the app. I had this happen multiple times and had to delete the Slide project and start over. Adding multiple layers works fine but you will need to rearrange them in the correct order once you’ve imported them. It also has a lot of trouble holding onto the target image sometimes and the 3D jumps in and out as it loses and reacquires the target image. Overall it does bring life to otherwise flat images but getting the desired effects takes some work.

Great
Really love this app and with a few tweaks I think it could make AR more accessible to the average person. One of the small things I’d love to see added is a record button that you don’t need to hold down as well as the ability to load more than 2 short gifs when it comes to animated slides.

WARNING!! Can’t even Log In, wasted money
How are you charging people money for an application they can’t even log into and have zero contact information for help. I found this app advertised on Instagram. Either you guys are really jumping the gun or you are seriously trying to scam people out of $2. Your app is no where near ready if people can’t even use it or open it. Don’t advertise when your product doesn’t even work. I saw your directions to someone with the same issue saying you’ll be updating in a week, posted in July. It’s mid August it’s still not working, do the right thing, refund these people you have scammed. Don’t charge for this app until you know 100% it works.

Great concept, needs a LOT of polish
I love the idea of this. But there are no directions, and it takes a minute to figure out what you’re supposed to do in what order. You can’t upload multiple layers at a time, so if you have 10 layers you’ll need to individually add 10 PNGs. Even though you have an account that knows how many “slides” you’ve created, they don’t transfer between devices, so if you want them to work on both you’ll just have to make them on both. Oh, and the iPhone version is useless if your phone won’t let you save anything as JPG. Which means I can’t “see” it on my iPad, only on my little 6S screen.

Not very intuitive ~update
I’m really taking a leap of faith in getting the app since it has terrible reviews, so far I can see why it has a negative first impression. It just throws you in with no explanation whatsoever, it needs a little more filling to at least explain what to do without assuming you’ll figure it out.
Update: there is no back button in case you accidentally start creating a slide.
Also there doesn’t seem to be a way to transfer slides from device to device despite your profile recognizing that you have more slides in another device .

Needs instructions badly
I think this app has great potential. If the developers work on giving instructions or a link to their website that has tutorials. Then I think this app will be one of the best apps out there. If they also added more capability to make PNG files for the images that you’re putting in such as a magic Wand or lasso tool or even an eraser brush they will have a really almost perfect app.I really hope the developers read this and push out an update soon.
