Sodium tracker
Not the easiest to use also no report function.
Feeling Way Too Chased,
Limited, but effective enough
The food database is my main peeve with the paid app. I got used to the one used by Carb Manager, and it’s much more thorough and flexible. With Sodium Tracker, one can’t submit error reports for nutrition content or create a personal food for one’s own Favorites or publish it to the app’s database. I have to look up everything for sodium content as I log each item. I can input a food from scratch without having to add it from a database, which Carb Manager makes you do, but their database and verification process seem as though they’re really trying to help users log their entries accurately. Most are on the Keto diet, and it helps that. Sodium Tracker does a good job tracking sodium intake, and the auxiliary information is of use. It could just be better. Being able to copy a food item to other days or meals on that same day would also be helpful. It’s difficult to cut and paste manually. I will keep using Sodium Tracker, but I may only resort to the complementary version.
gatlancap,
Needs simple, very simple improvements
Regardless of the fact that you mostly have to enter in your own content because their library covers maybe 80% of food, not a lot from Whole Foods or organic things. The biggest concern is EASE. Last thing people need is added stress when trying to maintain a low sodium diet. You should be able to add a previously listed item as your favorite from your past days. It would be very simple to just put a button “add to favorites.”That and the fact apparently you can contact them except by writing a review even though I’m a premium member is kind of bush league
OliverAbreu,
No Healthkit integration
Why would I use (much less pay to use!) an app that requires manual input of my sodium intake with NO OPTION to read that data from the built-in app which already exists to do that same function?
I wanted to use this app’s widget functionality to keep tabs on my sodium intake after scanning foods into MyFitnessPal (which saves all the food’s nutritional info into Apple Health) since that app doesn’t have a widget that shows specific nutrition data, but if I have to input that info in manually, then I have no use for this app.
It should be an option!

Simple But Useful
Nothing too fancy, does exactly what I need without the extra complexity that some other apps contain.

The food lookup in the premium version has been helpful.
Peachy.one,
Very basic
It would be nice if it would look up foods for you without paying extra. Also once you add an item if you could use it again without typing it all in again. Very elementary app.

Great Help Tracking the salt
A simple yet highly efficient app! Missed a day add it later. The database for finding salt content is awesome. Highly recommend!

Diagnosed with CHF, this easy to use app records my daily sodium intake
and creates a graph for my heart doctor.
It has a comprehensive data base that helps me find sodium content for anything I eat

Question
Question when I put in sodium amounts why don’t they make the data base - do not want to look
Up sodium content every time I eat an item already added- what purpose is the search database feature

Obtrusive ads
The functionality is fine. This app doesn’t need to do very much. But ads are extraordinarily obtrusive and result in a bad user experience.
