tigercait,
Genuinely soothing
I find this puzzle game very relaxing -- the vibrant colors, the (simulated) textures, the varying cell shapes, the focus on one small section at a time, and the lack of timer all help! The puzzles are repetitive (every puzzle has the same basic concept) but with enough variation each time to not be boring. It has pretty good replayability, which is nice since I'm almost all of the way through the available puzzle hoops. One thing I would love to see added would be free stitching with different textures of yarn. (There seems to be a bug in free stitching, by the way, where rapidly switching between color sections causes the colors to stop loading. Exiting and re-entering the free stitch for that hoop fixes it.) Question: did you mean to unlock all of the *future* weekly puzzles for the year once I finished the regular levels? I don't remember what the message said exactly when they unlocked, but I thought it was unlocking past ones only (I know there aren't very many of those yet!). It was a little disappointing this week when the new weekly puzzle was supposed to appear and I realized that I'd already had it.
Shizzilina,
This was best but I can’t understand the hype
I found this relaxing app that allows people who have a hard drive or something like this on a computer it has the option of sending a message to your computer but if you play it on your computer it has so much easier learning skills that I would recommend that you will love this app because it’s so easy

Hey join stich app on the arcade place we play on the arcade store so I don’t know how it works but it works well with a lot of people but it’s a great tool to use give it some wool and stretch out your creative muscles so it doesn’t look too much different than what you’re looking to make with it but it’s a lot better and it’s more comfortable than the one you can use in a regular one you have to wear in your regular clothing and give yarn each place is more expensive than what I would suggest
TheTheory,
I’ll wholeheartedly recommend Stitch. Solid puzzle games with good touch screen mechanics and a nice aesthetic are hard enough to find, let alone paired with the relaxing, soothing vibe Stitch does so well. But there’s a reason I can’t go with a full five stars: The experience is flat. I’ve been playing for three weeks to a month and I don’t feel like there’s been an evolution of the gameplay. There’s no advanced mechanics, no need to think laterally, and the few times I end up a bit stuck there’s no satisfying problem solving, it’s just redoing things until it works. The easiest difficulty levels are easier than the harder difficulty levels, but that’s more about size. You have to think harder about the bigger puzzles, but that’s because there’s more information to consider. So it’s a mixed bag. For a casual puzzle game with a great visual hook I very much recommend Stitch. Especially if you’re anxious and need something calming to zone out to. But if you’re looking for a puzzle game with depth, the appeal of Stitch will be more limited.

Therapeutic & adorable
Absolutely adorable. I’ve been hyper-fixating on cross stitch irl and just found it so fitting that this game came out right now. The only reasons I didn’t give 5 stars is that 1) it’s a smidge buggy—3 times in 10 minutes, once I completed a section of the stitching, the whole screen froze while it was loading my percent completed. It’s a new game, so I’m not really too concerned with that and I’m happy to share that info with the devs (hi guys) so they can adjust accordingly!
2) The UX doesn’t quite make it feel as high quality or accessible as other Apple Arcade games. I can’t quite put my finger on it. I kept expecting an ad to pop up, but maybe that’s just because I’ve been conditioned by every game voodoo has ever made lol.

Nevertheless, excited to see the direction this game goes in! Would love to see a “free play” mode where you can pick any of the patterns and stitch them. Not just a standard coloring game, but like, one where you have to go through the motion of actually stitching. Like a cross stitch sim 😂
ImpactedColon,
Great! Some suggestions for improvement
This is my new go-to game for quick relaxing fun. A few suggestions.

(1) Dark numbers against a dark background are impossible to see unless you change accessibility settings which shouldn’t be necessary.

(2) Tutorial needs to explain the mechanics better. Until I figured out that you can drag THROUGH a number—and not just start your finger at a number—the interface seemed illogical.

(3) Please give the option to eliminate the zoom in and zoom out visual when you go from one area to another in the same hoop because that can become nauseating. Better just to slide over to the new area.

(4) Give us the option to go back to finished hoops and explore by dragging around and zooming. Right now you can only view old hoops from far away.

(5) Similar to #4, when in a hoop, let us move around to see surrounding area. Sometimes you can’t see neighboring squares and you have no context especially after you zoom from one side to another in a large puzzle.

(6) Versus mode! Record the time needed to complete a hoop for the first time and remove hints. Then allow a user to attempt the same hoop and compare times. In this way you don’t need to match people up live. You can compete against one another’s “ghosts.”

Certified Gamer Good Game
FIRST IMPRESSION
-seemed "too easy"/perhaps for a younger demographic. the tutorial was way too slow and didn't stimulate me enough to even finish it.

UPON GIVING IT ANOTHER SHOT
-opened the app again when i found myself stuck somewhere without internet, just to pass the time. slogged through the tutorial and was pleasantly surprised to discover the rest of the game 🤡!
-the smaller puzzles are too easy to be satisfying to me specifically, but i had a blast working through the more difficult ones. i'd love to see more of those!

FAVORITE BITS
-love love love the texture of the different embroidery threads.
-super fun to watch the picture slowly unfold as i solve the smaller sections. appreciate that i can't "peek"/zoom out until the whole thing is finished- makes the whole experience more satisfying.
-the core concept is both unique and engaging. i'm a veteran puzzler as well as a geometry nerd, and the process of creating strategies to fill the space is FANTASTIC! well done, bravo, etc.

SUGGESTIONS
-more difficult puzzles please! i seriously would love to keep playing, and will always at least return for the weekly puzzle, but i've already almost exhausted the library after less than a week.
-metallic threads added to free stitch mode (pretty please)
PodHed,
Fun Game with Flaws
I played this game extensively when it was released and achieved the first gold tower within a day. It’s fun but has some usability issues.

The brown number text is impossible to see on a dark gray background as seen in the Halloween puzzle. I realized there is an option to outline the text but it’s not on be default. Once outlined, there are still text issues such as white numbers with white outlines which are difficult to read. Also by default, the haptics vibration is on. That’s a battery killer since each correct patch triggers the haptics twice. With thousands of cells in some hoop puzzles, that adds up.

Lastly, there is no feature to reset what is currently on the screen. So if you back yourself into a corner, you’ll find yourself manually erasing everything. I know the double tap on a number erases that patch but there can be a dozen plus things to erase sometimes.

Relaxing Brain Teasers
Pleasantly surprised how much I enjoy this app. Perfect game to use with a stylus if you’re obsessed with it like me. I like how the hoops are broken down into digestible little segments to work on until you complete the whole piece, the progress bar is a nice motivator, the graphics are cute, you can choose to work on a small hoop for a quick payoff or a large complex hoop for a more gratifying reward. It seems like they add new hoops regularly and I like the aspect of the limited time weekly hoops. I’m all about collecting games (animal crossing etc) so I like being able to collect the finished hoops like badges, especially those limited time ones. I hate puzzles that frustrate me and get me stuck but these are just the right difficulty to get you thinking but still a smooth meditative gameplay. 👍🏻
Write4u2mydear,
Confusing “tutorial”, buggy answers
The game is visually beautiful and has a relaxing soundtrack. However, the tutorial for the game is very lacking. It tells you to tap the numbered places, but does not describe how or why it is necessary to tap the numbered areas in a specific way. For example, you can tap the area and drag down and to the right and it will register as an acceptable answer. But you cannot drag simply to the right or it will not register as a correct answer and will tell you to undo the action (without telling you why the original answer was wrong in the first place). And frequently, I would the tapping and dragging in multiple directions only for the game to tell me every answer was incorrect. Then I would try an answer I already inputted and it suddenly registered as correct. I ended up getting frustrated with the app more than relaxed.
I get that embroidery is difficult to mimic within an app, but I feel they completely missed the mark with this game.
Cristiaso,
Awesome! Having a notification issue though.
Hey there! This is an amazing game! I found it really soothing and it’s fun! Also gets me super focused. All in all, great game!

But I am having a problem; just last time when you put out the new space hoops, I was notified for it, but now it’s all gone, and it doesn’t send me notifications for the app anymore. I’m kinda bummed about it, since I’d love to be notified about hoops, but I can’t tell if there’s genuinely something wrong or if it’s okay, like there’s just nothing new coming out this week. I’m more leaning to something being wrong since it also didn’t send me one for the weekly hoop. If you could tell me, or look into it, I’d really appreciate it.

Anyway, awesome game, and please keep up the awesome work! :)
