Description
STOP is a standalone software medical device intended to provide Cognitive Bias
Modification for Interpretation therapy (CBM-I), using content specifically relevant to
paranoia as an adjunct to standard care for patients of 18 years and older, who exhibit
clinically mild to moderate symptoms of paranoia and are currently receiving outpatient treatment under the care of a responsible clinician (psychiatrist, clinical psychologist, or other designated keyworker from a multi-disciplinary team, or general practitioner).
STOP is indicated as a 12-week prescription-only treatment for patients who self-report paranoid thoughts, whose primary language is English and who are not at high risk of suicide. STOP should be used in a quiet, private place where there are no distractions and by individuals who have access to an iOS smartphone & are familiar with the use of smartphone applications (apps). To ensure you have the best experience when using STOP, we recommend you to use the latest version of the software, check your device battery level & ensure that your device is fully charged.

STOP is not intended for patients with a history of substance misuse (alcohol and drugs). STOP is not intended for patients at risk of suicide.
