KipKun,
Could be better
I wish we we're able to edit the names of the workout. Just Back or Squat isn't that helpful. Front Squat vs Back Squat would be better. At least I could keep track of which I did.
armstrong apps,
Pretty good, especially for free
The two things I would change are adding a warmup calculator, and changing the way the program automatically adds weight to your lift the next session. Even if I miss a lift and need to back off or try again at the same weight, or if I had to cut my session short and miss one of the lifts for the day, the program still adds weight to the next session. It would be nice if the program recognized that you didn’t put in the full number of reps, and didn’t add weight.

Those are fairly minor inconveniences though. Overall it’s a pretty good program.
Cruecu81,
Really great for SS programs
Thanks so much for this free app. It's ridiculously simple and does what it's supposed to do. It takes no time using it in the gym. If you are still adding features, a warmup calculator would be awesome. But...The are plenty of simple web page warm up calculators to pull up when needed. It's just nice to have a program that works without unnecessary bells and whistles. Will buy full version for advanced program in a few weeks because i want to keep using the interface.
CharlieTommyJoey,
Very nice...
It's hard to beat this app for those doing SS or StrongLifts by the book. I use it for StrongLifts and like it better than the official StrongLifts 5x5 app. User interface is clean and intuitive. Timeline and Calendar views display your daily history without having to drill down to additional screens - very thoughtful design!

Graphs and a 1RM calculator would be nice to have, but this app is worth ever penny as it is. Enjoy!
phong.quan,
Great app but wish it had a few more basic features
Simple and intuitive design that's great for strictly following SS. Really wish there was an easy way to backup or export my data though. A few other basic features like a 1RM and warmup sets calculator would be great as well. Ability to create my own routines would make this an even more useful app but I guess I'm not expecting that from it.
Ohiobigdog,
Nice tracker
I've been using the app the last few workouts and I'm pretty happy with it. I like how it automatically increases the weight for you in the correct increments. The timer feature is also nice. The only thing I wish they would add is apple watch integration so I can get timer notifications there instead of having to keep my phone out constantly.
SebSB,
Nice SS/SL tracking app
Great looking app with a clean and intuitive interface. Works very well if you’re following SS or SL pretty strictly, and even incorporates the alternate workouts in SS advanced (and alternates between pull-ups and chin-ups!). Fair price.

Would love to see a backwards timer (it currently does have a forward timer), a way to view a progress graph, and a way to export the data.
Rubthebuddha,
Feature request
Love the app and have been using it and another for about a year. However, I am finding that as an ectomorph I am hitting plateaus these programs don't address. Research by McGuff, Westerdal and others is now showing that ecto muscle fibers may respond better to lower intensity and higher volume. I would love to see a higher rep version of the SS or SL routines in the program. Thanks!
DJ Pete24,
Great, but.....
I wish it had the ability to create your own routines. The pace tracking it a good idea, however I feel a countdown timer would be more useful

Pros: clean, simple, easy to use interface and NO ads

Cons: see above, you must pay extra to access the other routines
I like Dr Pepper,
Simple and polished
I appreciate the simple yet polished design, and the features like weight plate calculator, auto increment, and the timer.

I would really love this if it had a feature to add custom exercises, and if the timer could be programmed to chime or buzz after minute increments or a designated time.

Overall a great app and keeps me on track with Strong Lifts.
