Do your part in the fight to stop the spread of COVID-19 in Florida. The StrongerThanC19 App allows you to anonymously answer a brief series of survey questions, ranging from general demographics to recent travel and possible exposure to COVID-19, to help Florida better identify and predict coronavirus trends across the state. Once the survey is completed, you will receive guidance on prevention practices, testing, and vulnerable populations.
Features include:
1. Ability to go back and update your answers as symptoms and information change, providing officials with up-to-the-minute information to help improve the distribution of resources in response to COVID-19.
2. Access to information in real-time as it’s gathered from users across the state via the Community Action Survey Report. Report includes results by date; age group; county; recent travel; symptoms; sought medical care; and more.
3. Have trusted information and resources* at your fingertips including (1) “STEPS” of preparedness and prevention measures; (2) Florida’s COVID-19 status and what you need to know; and (3) Reliable contact information for questions regarding COVID-19 in Florida.
4. Sign up to receive notifications and the most up to date information on COVID-19 in Florida.

This app is using one or more google services (dc: data studio, and likely another tool for the collection of data).
Privacy aware folk will not use an app if they don’t know what’s in it and HOW it works.
This app and others like it need to be privacy centered. That is why the adoption rate is so low.

Please support the Apple/google exposure notifications
Please. Can you announce your planned approach? Can you augment this app to also provide guidelines and the stats around covid 19 to make it a one stop shop and focused tool to help combat the pandemic? The survey is interesting and I assume helpful, but please add more.

Pathetic denial
Apparently the governor of Florida doesn’t really care whether or not people can track their contacts as this application doesn’t offer anything like that. It’s not surprising given the party that runs this state.
Perhaps it would be better to obtain another state’s app—one that takes the epidemic seriously and actually serves the public welfare.

Not useful - needs work
Not only is this app useless (no contact tracing, no integration with Google/Apple exposure API), it also doesn’t work. Every time I try to submit a recent exposure, the form will not submit. I always get an error message “something went wrong”

Like the app. Couple issues
Can y’all support the Apple/google exposure notification API? This would be useful for people who have Covid and have been around people with Covid. Please utilize this tool.

Useless
This app is completely useless. Seems as it was made to say “Here you guys go, we made an app.” What’s the point of it? Immediately uninstalled after seeing it didn’t have Apple/Google API usage. Shouldn’t have thought any more should come from this state.

Horribly lost opportunity
To the person who developed this app – and yes, I think it is one person – really? How could you, as a presumedly well-paid software developer by the FLDoH produce this pile of garbage?
- It is a survey with no contact tracing
- It doesn’t use the Exposure Notifications API provided by Apple AND Google!
Do your homework and don’t produce a hack-job app like this if you want to call yourself a developer.

Why would the Florida Department of health not partner with Apple and Google like other states have done to utilize the built in co tact tracing capabilities?
