Decent
I’m on week 2 so I’m still new to it but overall I like the workouts, I just wish it were more customizable. For instance, my program only has abs/arms once a week, so I add abs into all my workouts. I can’t figure out how to change my program to add more ab workouts, if that’s possible? Also the food logger is the weirdest logging experience I’ve ever seen on an app so I don’t even use it. I’m sure there’s some philosophy to it but to me it makes more sense to track nutrients rather than try to calculate how many servings of food groups you’re eating at each meal, and there are only a handful of foods to choose from. How do I add granola? Lol. Last, I am doing the at home program and none of the cardio days give me an option for cycling. I’m a SAHM with two tiny kids and a stationary bike so other than HIIT workouts, cycling is how I do my cardio. I don’t understand why that isn’t an option, I feel like a good majority of people who do cardio at home are doing it on a bike. So I just ignore the cardio days and do my own thing on the cycle. With that being said, I like the workouts so far, they’re pretty tough and leave me sweating, and the UI for the workouts is pretty good. For the price I would just appreciate more customization as you go through the program!

Could use just a tad more…
This app is great, but -
Downfall there is no free trial to see if it’s a good fit for you even one day would’ve been super helpful. I won’t use the food guide or recipe plans since it’s extremely limited options or you have to build your meals one ingredient at a time.

I also wish you could shuffle the supersets as well because the gym at 11pm may be wide open but at 6pm forget it I’m lucky to just get 3 rounds of the single machine in at a time. I wish you could look at the workout and say okay I have X machine and access to X free weights let’s do these together instead of X machine and X machine together as long as that’s still on that day’s routine.

I also wish you could “add notes” or “select weight level” for the particular reps since it’s almost a week in between a specific muscle group. For example chest press at 20# this week I’ll know that’s what I successfully used, next week I will know to use that again or even go up if that’s what my body is ready for. There are so many workouts and different machines it’s hard to keep track with out a notepad alongside it
Otherwise it’s a SUPER helpful app and overall I do really like it

Uncustomizable, not very user friendly
I was really hoping to like this app. The workouts are good, but they don’t seem to go with what I initially said were my goals. Why did they even ask that question at the beginning if the workouts aren’t going to go along with it?? Also, I do wish there was voices explaining our talking through the exercises so you don’t have to stop your workout to read the exercise explanation. If there is a setting for this, I didn’t see it. However, I could have stuck with it if I were only using this for the workouts. It’s the diet section that frustrates me the most. Every time I go to look for a food, it’s not there or it’s very hard to find. Some foods that I see as pretty basic, aren’t even listed, so I just have to choose something similar. The recipes are good, but when you put them in your daily tracker, you can’t change or customize any of the ingredients. For instance, I made the oatmeal bowl recipe but I added extra fruit and some protein powder. The app will not allow you to add this. Every time I go to put a meal or snack in, it takes way too long because I’m too busy searching for my foods or trying to find a comparable one. I would not recommend this app!!
karenleila,
Can’t even see the app without paying for 12 weeks
This could be a great app, but you can’t even look at the features and check it out without paying. It is missing a social aspect (like MyFitnessPal where you can add friends and encourage each other, or FitOn, where you can even take a class online together). I love the metrics in this app- you can measure or weigh yourself and track your progress, it also has great tools for keeping track of your workouts. I didn’t really check out the recipe feature, not sure if there’s a way to enter your calorie intake or not, if that’s your thing. I wish the workouts were more customizable- if you take a yoga class for example, sometimes there’s a little purple icon that lets you swap an exercise. It would be GREAT for people with injuries if you could swap out an exercise- I have a bad back and neck and it is hard to find a workout I can complete without making modifications. Messes up the whole flow of my workout. I use Workout Maker for this— but hey creators, if you could make some tweaks mentioned above, I’d gladly pay $60 a year to use one app instead of the three I currently use. I ended up asking for a refund, because I can get all the features this app offers for free on other apps.
StephReyes717,
It’s okay, but not great.
I’ve used this app in the past and I signed up again because I wanted to help build a routine again.

I’m on week 4, but I have a few frustrations im starting to notice.

1) no matter how you fill out the survey at the beginning, you get the same workouts. I’ve deleted the app and restarted my program and im still given the same workouts. All it did was erase my progress.

2) there is limited variety in the weekly workout schedule. For example if day 1 is arms and abs, you’ll get some tricep workouts mixed with others, but then day 4 is tricep and back with the same workouts from day 1.

3)you can’t change a workout, for example if there is a move that you can’t or don’t want to do, there is no option to swap it for an alternate move that works the same muscle. So you’re stuck googling workouts that you can replace it with. But I feel like this defeats the purpose of the app.

4) you can’t design your own schedule. It’s always 2 Yoder body days, 2 cardio, and 1 lower body. So if you want to do another lower body day, you have to figure out your own workout or repeat the same one you got earlier in the week.

Overall, it’s a decent app if you really don’t know where to start and you want to build a routine. But once you have the groove of things, it gets really repetitive and boring - which makes the 1 year subscription feel like a waste. I would have happily paid for 1 month and then cancelled but now I’m stuck with this app for the next year.
StephW28,
Customer service is TERRIBLE - I got ripped off
The workout themselves are just alright. They are not at all customizable and they are too short and low level for my fast. They are really only for people just starting out at the gym. I definitely recommend only paying one month at a time because you will probably want to move on to longer/more intense exercises as you get stronger. I recommend using the Fitbod app instead - its free and super customizable.

But what really upsets me about this app is how TERRIBLE the customer service is. I paid for $30 for the subscription and was charged an additional $20 for a meal plan that I never received. They only have two contact methods: Facebook and email. I reached out via both methods twice. I never received a response on Facebook. I received a response on email after several days only to be treated like I was stupid. The representative (Pam) kept insisting that they sent it and told me I was probably checking the wrong email (after I told her THREE times that I had triple checked ALL of my inboxes, spam folders, and trash folders). What a waste of money. $50 I sincerely regret spending.
Barbara Makenna,
Thanks!
I love this app! It's never been a pleasure for me to have to get dressed, drag myself to the gym, wait for equipment, be ogled by strange men, and shower in public. I am able to workout twice a day, one in the morning when my son is napping and the other after his bedtime. The great thing about this app is that it never inconveniences me because it's always on my schedule. Instructions are incredible! I don't have much experience with a gym or trainer, and I understand what I'm supposed to be doing without any trouble. Just a few weeks ago, I definitely would not have enjoyed working out. I'm excited about my new exercise routine. That's MAD! Thank you strongher, for making workouts that motivate me to look and feel my best.
pkayle1097,
Great app, but..
I wish that this app would’ve allowed you to have a free trial or at least one day of doing the workouts because it was expensive and the workouts are all super sets. Don’t get me wrong, super set workouts are fantastic but it’s hard to do a super set workout at the gym because you can’t save a machine, walk across the gym to use another machine, then walk back to the previous machine. It’s usually not allowed at most gyms including mine. So I end up having to change my workouts sometimes but I feel like I’m stuck using it since I paid for it. I do enjoy the app I just wish it was a little more customizable if you can’t do a workout you could select a similar one. That’s what another app I use to have let me do and that was a nice feature.
ashmarie333333,
It’s okay
This app lures you in with a quiz to make you think you’re getting a somewhat personalized workout plan. You then have to pay for a membership to see the workouts. Once in the app, I started with the recommended program which was way too hard for where I am at physically. I went down a level and the workouts are more appropriate—but definitely not low impact as they are labeled. If you have any knee problems the low impact workout will not be appropriate for you. The app claims that the low impact workouts are 20 minutes, but they take at least 40 minutes to complete correctly. The food tracker is useless. So basically this is an okay workout plan that you will probably have to adjust to meet your needs. I don’t think the app delivers what it promises but now that I have paid for it I am making it work for the time I have paid for.
sarahhh63,
Lame
The developer keeps claiming in the responses to multiple reviews that you have the option to a trial version of the app before you’d have to pay, but all it showed me was a 3-month, 6-month, and full-year subscription option, before I’d even get to see what the workouts looked like. I reluctantly went with the 3-month—which of course is taken out as one lump sum rather than as weekly payments—and only then was able to access the workout content, and discovered the workouts aren’t even editable or customizable, and contained numerous exercises I didn’t want in my workout. You’d think if they’re going to steal $40 from you in one fell swoop you’d at least get the ability to customize your workouts. Guess I’m out $40, lesson learned. Par for the course from all these greedy, thieving app designers that just pretend they want to help people out these days and do nothing but steal their money instead.
