You’ll be encouraged, amazed and glad you decided to make a change. You come and do what you can. The process takes care of all your fears, the results will floor you.
4 months in and I can tell you I’m not the same physical person.
I’m not going to tell you it’s easy, it’s not but when you start to see the results the challenging work outs make you want more, when you’re ready.
I’m a fan I believe if you come in with an open mind, you’ll be a fan as well.

Love this app
I love this app! I’ve been doing CrossFit for about 2.5 years and I have always kept track of my workouts in a notebook. Sometimes I wouldn’t track because it takes too much time to write down the workout and then track it. Ever since I started using this app I track every workout. I love how I can look back quickly at my 1RM and all my info for any workout. The app is so user friendly and helps build our positive CrossFit community where you can encourage each other on workouts! Nicely done!

Great Program
I recently began to travel for work and was having a hard time finding CrossFit affiliates for drop-ins. The hours, locations from my hotels and costs added up quickly making difficult to keep up with working out.
Th is program has fixed all of that. When I am on the road I use this program in the hotel gyms everyday. The workouts are easily adaptable to hotel gyms. There is no questions about what I am doing from the general warmup to the WOD prep through the WOD. It’s all there, I don’t have to guess, or makeup my own WOD, which I always made too easy. Thanks to Garage Movement I am getting back on track.

Great Tracking / motivation
Love this app - it’s helped me track the last year of my fitness as I’ve grown. Been doing CrossFit for 13 months and this has helped me see my growth in speed, strength, endurance etc. My box uses this for all members and I’ve enjoyed the app throughly - easy to use and great to go back i time to see PRs and other lifts. Also love that it helps you calculate your % for life’s if way you want to lift at 65% of a 1rm for a certain lift. I highly recommend SugarWOD- not glitchy at all.

Excellent design, room for improvement with interface?
This app is very functional on many levels. Interacting with others from your gym, your coach, your workout, keeping track of your personal progress. A 5 star all around except for one thing that bugs me. The fist bump button beside the persons workout in the whiteboard could be like 10-15% bigger in my opinion. It’s annoying when you want to fist bump someone and it clicks their name area on the whiteboard instead. So you have to fist bump there and then exit their record again. Just my thoughts.

Not impressed
Clean interface but very difficult to figure out how to actually use it. Wasted an hour so far trying to do the most basic thing. Zero support available. No phone number to call, no chat tool. All you can do is send an email and hope that someday someone gets back to you. Since it came highly recommended I’m going to give it one more hour and then say screw it and move on. They want you to sign up for a free trial but key functions are disabled making the trial version useless. Had to pay to get everything turned on. Still can’t figure out how to log a workout. But they’re hellbent on giving “fist bumps.” I say screw the fist bumps and how about making an app that’s easy to use.

Good app, have a couple of suggestions
Really like SugarWOD overall, but it’s cumbersome to have to click the calendar to select the day when moving through the workouts for a given week. Please add the ability to swipe left or right on the workout page to move ahead one day or back one day.

It would also be nice if a user’s past workouts were more organized than only being able to scroll endlessly to find an old workout. Like perhaps sort by month/year.

Don’y like it much so far
The app doesn’t show at a glance which days you have worked out. If you go into an individual date you can see the results that you entered but you can’t tell from the monthly calendar.

If you do the assigned workout for Tuesday on Wednesday, you cannot change the date so it will show in the app as if you worked out on Tuesday.

There’s no ability to enter workouts that are not programmed. So if you did a marathon or a kickboxing session, there’s no way to make SugarWOD the only app you use to track your fitness.

You can only enter results in the mobile app. The web platform shows the workouts but you cannot enter anything there. Fail for people who don’t like to use apps. You also cannot print all the workouts for the week. Their solution is to print the individual dates (waste of paper) or have my remote coach print the week and send the printout to me. 🙄

Other apps like Train Heroic and BTWB have all the above functionality. Not impressed

App Must be updated
It’s very frustrating that is the owner of the business I cannot go further saffiliate manager should be able to access entire week of workouts on Sugarwod into the week beyond one day and make edits to workouts and programming should I need to when I don’t have access to a desktop computer. Whatever functions can be done on the desktop should be able to be done from a smart phone. For this reason, as a business owner, I give a one star feedback. The least of my worries should have to be trying to scramble to a desktop to make adjustments to my gym is programming

Clumsy
My gym just switched from Beyond the White Board to SugarWOD. So far, the biggest difference is that it is way harder to find/ log workouts that aren’t your gyms prescribed WOD. I have a very physical job and in addition to my gyms regular stuff I need to add in and occasionally substitute WODs that are more functional for me. I’m already missing BTWB because it was so much easier to add other work in. In addition, I feel like the layout of the app is clunkier and less professional feeling. I’m trying to take it easy on this app as I get more acclimated to it, but it seems like a pretty big step down that I can only assume the gym took as a money-saving measure with COVID-19’s impact on their bottom line.
