My Juno 60 Patches Replicated
I’m giving TAL’s Juno 60 emulator 5 stars because I was able to replicate patches from my vintage Juno 60. To have my custom Juno 60 patches portable on the iPad is just astounding. Yes, there are minor tonal differences, but considering that I’m working within the limitations of the iPad audio out and, taking into consideration that there’s a certain full round warm quality to the Juno that is not replicable digitally, this app is still astounding. Only thing that could be improved is that the faders jump when starting to move them. A “soft takeover” on the faders is needed instead of a jump. Although’ to be fair, this is what happens on the real thing. It would be a nice feature though. As a vintage Juno 60 owner, I’m blown away.

One of My Most Used iOS Synths
This port of Tal is absolutely amazing. It sounds great, it’s very lightweight on resources, and has a nice clean ui. Since presets work on both the desktop and iOS version, there are many free and paid patches/patch banks available online, including at the Tal website. Typically those are main things I look for in an AU synth, and Tal ticks all those boxes. I’ve been doing the iOS music thing a long time now and Tal is one of my favorite and most used synth apps. I have recommended it to others many times, and will continue to sing its praises. Recent update added some nice features. Great Stuff.
KelIy Clarkson,
One of the best software synths ever is finally here
A few minor UI things could be ironed out in future updates but even if they never were I would still give this a 10/10 because all that matters is the sound and this synth is one of the best. I just checked my iOS synth folder and I have 74 iOS synths. All the best ones money can buy and this is without question in the top 3.

If you guys bring Tal-Bassline to iOS I’ll buy it twice just to say thanks. The 101 is my favorite synth and there is no better recreation than Tal-Bassline. Thanks again to all involved with bringing this to us.

Great synth - iOS touch support needs work
The synth itself sounds great. I for sure recommend it. The touch support on iOS is pretty rough. I’ve found that moving sliders up/down doesn’t always move the sliders, I need to drag them left/right. Additionally when tapping on some keyboard keys, the keyboard doesn’t respond to the touch (I’ve noticed this specifically with C2). Using a mouse or using a MIDI controller with this app is the way to go for now.

Another great thing to note about this app - being able to download the presents for this synth online and use them in the iOS app is amazing! It really helps get started when you have hundreds of presets to choose from.

A Main stay in my live rig
I’ve bought others, romplers, synths that are supposedly do it all, moog-type clones, and other "modeled" hardware. TAL-UNO-X is the one that I always come back to. It fits in the mix with other players. Gives that swirling analog bed of pads. Can make "that" synth brass sound that isn’t midi, or harsh, or trying too hard to sound like real brass. TAL can be swirly, squishy, or searing. And of course, it sounds like a Juno (which has seen a nice resurgence with synthwave). Buy it. Pair it with a nice reverb. You won’t regret it.

TAL, if you’re reading PORT THE JUPITER!!!!

Great New (accessible )Juno Synth
Congratulations on your new TAL-U-NO-LX synth application for the iPad! The sounds are great (as is the polyphony!) and make the classic Juno-style sounds very accessible and easy to use and add on all iPad-based DAWs. Excellent recreation of arpeggiator. Massive collection of (free) downloadable patches round this out well. One request would be a larger patch selection drop-down box... to increase accuracy of selecting the right latch first time. I would love to see your other VST’s ported to iPad. Easy decision for every iOS musician.
JVS Maschine,
Absolute Wow!
I really wish this was available when I started buying synth apps.
So easy to use and sound quality for recording is a dream come true. I can’t say enough good about this synth except to say thank you for making it available on iOS. I hope you will develop more for iOS, you obviously know what you are doing!
GadgetMojo,
Great job guys!
I never had a Juno or follow that many “classic” synths, but I just loved the way this one sounds! I mean it sounds fantastic through my iPad speakers even! The presets this synth comes with are super cool.

But unfortunately you can’t save your OWN presets in AUv3 instance. You can use your DAW to save it, but it’ll stay with that particular DAW only. If you use several DAWs how can you share those presets, that’s impossible. You can save presets in standalone version but not in AUv3. A lot of times I edited patches to fit the tracks and I create something nice, not having a way to save it globally is a major flaw in this synth. I have many synths on my iPad and this is the only one that doesn’t have a save functionality.

Please consider adding this fundamental function - to save presets! Thanks!

Aside from that, it’s a 5-star synth. Excellent sound quality.

Carbon Copy Classic
I owned a 106 back in the day, and Tal U-No sounds spot-on (though technically it's intended to emulate its predecessor). A straightforward synth that's all sweet spots and simplicity, but it's got some nice additions including delay and reverb. I'd love to see other Tal synths on iPadOS though I've heard nothing about any movement on that front. At least we got U-No. it's boss.
77JAMES J77,
This is the one for Juno sounds
After using this on PC, along with a SoundForce SFC-60 controller, I’m glad to see it show up on iOS finally. Would love their chorus and reverb plugins on iOS as well. Use them all the time on PC. Would buy them instantly.

First release so 4 stars until any minor bugs are sorted. Great stuff. One of my favorites. The only authentic Juno sound (aside from samples of real Junos) available for ipad.
