While "telling time" is traditionally not taught until the first or second grade, any child that already understands the concept of time and knows how to count to 12 will delight in using this app.

Nice, Simple and does the job!
Thank you. I appreciate being able to use the correct answer feedback for child use and the ability to turn them off for use with adult stroke patients. Very versatile. I would love to have the ability to decide how many to present. If I could set it to stop after 10 or 20 clocks, it would be easy to count the errors and recognize a percentage while paying attention to the client instead of marking the chart. 2 dings in 10 clocks is 80% correct. Please consider. Love it.

Wish you could practice telling time to the min.
This is a good app. I have been using it with two different students. I like that you can customize it depending on what the student is learning. I wish that you could set it to tell time to one minute intervals. I purchased this app. because I have a student who can tell time to 5 minute intervals but needs to learn to tell time to the minute. At this point the app. does not have that option. I would love that upgrade.

Great app
This is a great app for teaching time. It's really fun to be able to change the voices too. It's very accurate too. Improvements would be too add a section for teaching half past and quarter after. Another improvement would be to have an analog clock where you free play with a clock. It would also be nice to have levels of achievement or sections to master with a reward (song, something pretty on your clock etc). Thanks for creating

Excellent for practicing telling analog time
As a teacher, I so appreciate the ability to customize apps to meet the needs of various students. I love that this one, like other Grasshopper apps, let's you select specific skills to target and even add your own. So I can have some kids work on telling time to the hour, while others tell to the quarter, or half. Love It!

It's a hit!
I purchased this app. for 2 reasons. The first was for my 7 year old to have practice telling time the analog way, and the app is of course excellent for that. The second reason was so that he would have more educational games to balance out the non-educational games he plays. After playing for 10 minutes he said "this is actually fun!". And he asked to play it again later :)

Exactly what I was looking for.
1. Free is my favorite price. 2. Customizable for hour, half hour, quarter hour and five minute increments. 3. Customizable sounds added a whole new level of fun...even picking the wrong answer on purpose just to try to get the silly wrong answer response that big brother recorded is still good for learning. This app is great for learning to tell time!!!

Fantastico!
I love that I can customize the positive reinforcement on this "game". My daughter's face when she heard me tell her that she made me proud was priceless. She continues the "game" of finding the right clock just so she can hear me tell her how great she's doing! I just re-recorded it in Spanish! :)
As my wish list for future updates:
The ability to choose how many problems to solve.
Time limit would be nice.
Achievements or best time recording.
Reverse it. Choose the time that the clock displays.
Overall great app. I've also bought more grasshopper apps because this one turned out so well.

Good app but ...
Some changes would make it great. First the positives. The picture quality is good, the clocks are distinct, the settings give the user/teacher great control. It is attractive for my kids (2nd and 3rd grader). Here is where changes are needed:
1. kids appreciate a sense of accomplishment - not an unending string of trials. They want to see improvement, so there needs to be a tally of success and failure rate.
2. The limited variety of verbal reward statements gets old pretty quickly
3. I see others have requested this and agree - this app needs to add the ability to test time skills to the minute.

When a clock is identified correctly, the clock is highlighted with a red circle. Most kids associate red with 'stop' or 'wrong'. The use of the red highlight is confusing

Good, could be great
Helps my 5-yr old build confidence in telling time. I recorded a custom sound but the app crashes every time I try to give it a name. So custom sound doesn't get used--inexcusable for paid app. Suggestions: add a module that shows a larger clock face that can be used to count minute tick-marks (not touch sensitive). Make the hands moveable to demonstrate how second hand, big hand & small hand work together. An advanced option to mix in different styles of clock faces would be nice.

Clock
I love this clock. I use it for my learning disabled granddaughter and it is great. You can make it as simple as possible, with the choice of how many clock faces to show,to how many minutes after the hour to ask. It would be great for any child but especially for a slower child.
