Think I’m going to love it!!
I have a four year old Preschool student, and they are working on 1st grade sight words. I am having trouble getting my son to learn and remember them each week. I’ve tried everything!!! I think I’m going to love this because I can customize the words that he can practice each week. Since my kid is IPhone savvy, I think he will enjoy this app to learn his words better than mommy drilling him with flash cards everyday. Hopefully this works!!! Yikes!

Improve for data collection
I really enjoy this app. and so do my students. I love all the features, however, I would like to request you add a data collection feature that would let me know which words are not being recognized by my students or what words they are doing well with. I would also like to see a feature that ends the task maybe being able to set limits to do 10 or 20 etc... My students are waiting for an end to complete the task. Yes the constant praise does get redundant. Besides this I love the alphabet app as well but again I would like to see a data collection and limit features add. Thanks for the consideration.

So much potential...
But no sound. My daughter has specific sight words for her test and I thought this would be my answer to the boring index cards. I took out all the words except the few I needed and added them in, complete with a picture. Go to do the sight words to test and when it gets to my customized words, no sound. A few quarks to record your voice, as soon as you hit record you have to say the word right away or it cuts the word you say off. So I figured that out.
Later playing the app/game, my customized words don't have sound so when it's time to select the word, no sound is read and therefore you can't figure out the word. Also if there isn't a picture for the customized sound, it's blank and you won't know a card is even there to select! Totally bummed.

Good for existing sight words
If the word is part of the pre-existing list, it works well. I like that you can delete some of the list words to focus on certain words your little may be working on. However if you would like to add a new word, the word does not appear in the flashcard- only at the top. You end up having to just click a blank space. I agree with other reviews that it would be a nice addition to have a sense of right and wrong words selected to focus on for the future and a timer or signal for kids to know it’s ended.

Love this app
I love this app because you can program only the words you wan to concentrate on or use all the words at any level. You can program it to show any level. You can record any words that you are working on. I use a lot of different sight word apps and this one is the best. I would highly recommend it!

Reliving old memories
So I have autism and had a little bit of a hard time learning as a child. Not too hard but I struggled in some areas. This really helped me learn when I was younger. I’m now a teenager but this game reminded me how far I’ve come. I’m so blessed this game existed In my childhood. Thank you! <3

Love it, BUT...
I love all of the apps like this and have been using them for years, however, the customize your items feature has been very "glitchy" lately. It is difficult to record audio for new items and, when it records, it doesn't hold the recording to be used when playing the game. If this could be fixed, you would be right back up at 5 stars.

Recording Malfunction :(
This app is great! The only issue I have with it is that the record feature (to add new words or to create your own list) does not work! Which is really frustrating because I have words I'd like to add. The only other thing is that I wish there was a point system, so then my child knew how many she got right and how many she got wrong. Otherwise this is a great app!!!

Good idea?
We just got it tonight and while going through the first time the voice sometimes says nothing. Also every other time the words are missing and you have to click randomly on the page. It still accepts the answer. Then there’s the times it says nothing and there’s only one word on the page so you just guess until the check mark shows up. Very odd and disappointing.
