Really enjoy the online Chronicle
Since I live in a rural area and we have not had paper delivery in many years, the first thing I do is download the online version of the Augusta Chronicle . Now if I can figure out how to keep from spilling coffee all over my screen I will have it made. I really enjoy the online version because when I am through reading it does not clutter up space in my home!

Quality App
I like the app as I don’t always find time to complete all I need to do in a day. There are several ways to access what I need, and over time, I am discovering multiple ways to store the info for off line reading as I get those moments.

Useful features removed from this version
I am an older reader, used to the newspaper layout. Scanning a page of newspaper was easier with the two finger sizing (gone with v4.2). I used to be able to make it the right size for these older eyes. Only options I found so far are 1x and 2x without going to another format. When switching from 1x to 2 x, is jumps away from article you are reading.
Pop up ads are annoying, particularly for a paid subscription.

What Happened to the App?
I have used this app to read the Chronicle for several years with no problems until the last two days when it has been completely non-functional - endless spinning and attempts to reload with no results. I have deleted and reinstalled the app and can log in but can’t get to the current (or any) issue. Calls to the paper have yielded no improvement ( looks like the USA Today takeover of the local paper have not improved the paper or app’s function). Please fix this issue so I can again try to read local news. Thank you.

I am a fan of daily newspapers and I have been seeing the Chronicle in my house most of my life. I love reading about local food, people and events. I always find almost every page is interesting.

Always on point with the news and happening
I have read the Augusta Chronicle since I were a child. I can stay on top of Augusta and surrounding CSRA happenings.

Very confusing and difficult to view
This new edition is not very user friendly and confusing to view. Also there is no option to view the Columbia County weekly edition where I live. You can do better and it will be difficult to continue to subscribe to this presentation.

Why pay for this content?
December 2020 update puts a paywall on the iPhone version of this app that wasn’t there before. I didn’t use it much before. Looks like I’ll use it even less now. There are too many sources of free news to pay for the scant offerings that cannot be read elsewhere for free.
