Sarah_Mac,
Have to say, I'm kind of disappointed...
I could never bring myself to give less than four stars on what, in total, is an impressive trilogy. The creator has put years and so much effort into its creation and I do adore the series...
However, the final chapter has kind of fallen flat for me.... I don't know why I was expecting more character development out of our remaining companions; what I did receive on that front just seemed rushed and unexciting. The ending frustrated me as it seemed that I am having to truly manipulate my character in an unnatural way to receive any sort of satisfying ending (which I have not achieved yet....). All in all, as I said, I loved the series and will probably replay the first two... this one, not so much replay value for me.
Magic Kingdom Zeal,
Brutal stat checks give this one a steep learning curve
The person who said stats are required to be 70-80+ is being generous. You will see checks for 100 in multiple stats by endgame.

Magic specialists will struggle to pass the endgame gauntlet without a bad ending. Blades/Archery experts should make it through readily if they maxed their key stats, and Unarmed specialists are midway between Blades/Archery and Magic. Stats such as Strength, Agility, and Endurance will contribute greatly to success... and tend to be raised by martial training, not so much by magical training. Oops. Have fun trying to fend off ravenous demons with your sterling grasp of Geography.

That said, IF you can pass the checks, it’s a fun romp with a suitably high-power and high-stakes conclusion. The ‘successful’ endings DO make reference to your choices all throughout the trilogy. It’s just... getting there is hard, and may (?) be impossible for some.

I strongly advise looking up a guide.

Disappointment, Despair, and Lack of Control
The first two games were fairly enjoyable, but it seems like some sadistic, ham-handed writer took the reins for this one.

Sky-high stats and skills are required in an impossibly wide variety. Relationships with companions are insignificant. Corruption and destruction of everything of value are built into the plodding script of events. And the depressing ending appeared arbitrary and pointless. I was a moment away from saving the day when I was yanked inexplicably into a pathetic and hopeless sequence of events. If a failed ending was the result of losing all health, or morale, or poor judgments, that would at least make some sense. It genuinely feels like the writer's main goal was to crush the hopes of the player. Save your time (and money, with the pumped-up price for a pathetically worse game) and avoid this one.

Good story, bad glitches
I loved this story, and have been looking forward to the final piece of the trilogy for some time. The experience has been marred by many grammatical errors and glitches.
(SPOILER)
After the royal wedding when the heir is kidnapped, I tried to search for tracks, as my character is a level 4 Ranger. There was a glitch that said Character_Knows_Location, but it then said I could find no tracks and that it required a Ranger level of 2. Please fix the many errors for a 5 star rating!

Best series by far!!
I've pretty much read them all, and all I have to say is WOW. It's so insanely refreshing to play a CoG/Hosted game where your choices ABSOLUTELY matter in the creation of your MC! There are many where your choices have little (if not zero), impact on the story.
This series is also one of the very few, that has such a crazy high amount of replay value!! I mean, the possibilities of MC development are redic, and I haven't gotten bored yet trying to discover them all.

Lucid you are amazing🏹❤💋

Impossible choices
Skill checks are far too high. Need all skills and knowledge to be at 75-80+ in order to have a good ending, and you can only gain levels in your skills by selecting correct ones. Meaning you can't level skills that don't pass checks. This makes it so that any skill coming into the game less than a 50-60, you really can't use. Not to mention you need a multitude of the hidden artifacts. If you specialized in something in the first two games, and let other attributes slack a bit, then congratulations, you win a terribly depressing conclusion to an otherwise excellent series.

True Masterpiece!
What a phenomenal series! I loved every minute it. The characters had great depth and backstories, the dialogue flowed smoothly, and the options were well thought out. The amount of different classes and secrets you can find created a TON of replay value I had seven different characters with different experiences each time. Very well done!
Jantoenbeoen,
Hero ending achieved!
This series is incredible. I loved playing every second of it, and I plan to do about 10,000 more playthroughs. The ending is so satisfying, and the epilogue wraps up all loose ends in a neat little bow (I got the hero ending so this may be different for other endings). I’d recommend this series to anyone who want to put their own twist on a hero and write their own story.
Dopplëganger,
I've been playing this for too long
I love how many times you can replay the game and find new character traits in different story lines. I have played this game instead of studying way too often but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it's the best. Only problem is that I can't seem to be able to branch into shadow magic!
Dude,the45678,
Disappointing Conclusion
Like many others I really enjoyed the first 2 games of the trilogy, but I didn't enjoy the 3rd game really at all to be honest. The choices required such high skills the game really devolved into a choiceless game. Either pick the option that you have the highest skill in or fail.

Doubled with the bad game design of only successful skill checks gain skill points, it means you are locked into whatever you are already good at with little chance to improve your weaker skills.
