I want you to make it so when a ship sinks you don’t lose it for ever and can you please make it so that every ship has a weakness? So like a sloop dose not do well with bombs? And you know with the canons that damage the sails I mean you forgot that stuff goes up must come down so the so... it damages the sails and then it falls into the water but can you Redirect it so it falls into the wood and it makes a hole it falls into the hole and then it damages the hull? And then some times there Is no wind so some times you are stranded in the middle of no where? And i do have to say there are a few more things i would like to say can you make it so if you are at sea to long your crew start to die? And can you make it so that there are fires on the ship like if a lantern falls down? So that your ship dose not just catch on fire when you sail into oil? And WHERE DID YOU GET THAT?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?the sea dose not no can not catch on fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And can you make it so you can fight on different ships? For example you can lay out wood planks and board other ships and sword fight?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just want to say the I think this game is great, really fun, and pretty addictive. I’ve recently restarted my save and already I think I’ve become better at it. However, I do have some suggestions that I think would be cool. Firstly, for more gameplay reasons, I want to be able to adjust the elevation on my canons. As it is, if I’m attacking a smaller ship, or a ship that’s further away my canons will typically miss. If we were able to adjust the elevation on the canons this could provide new strategic insights into fighting ship to ship. Staying out of range of your enemies while adjusting your elevation to be more deadly.

I also think a swivel gun update could be interesting. They would act just like grape shot but could only be utilized while boarding other ships. It would function similarly to the canons, selecting which side of swivel guns you’d like to use, loading them and then firing them. Swivel guns could give you the advantage in battle by taking out a greater number of the crew without sacrificing your own.

Lastly I think adding some physics to the ocean could be cool. Allowing our ships to actually ride the waves. I know it’s probably difficult to do that sort of thing but it could present more dangers when searching for cargo or fighting other ships in a storm. Having your ship actually ride huge waves and possibly be damaged or sunk.

Reminds me of old school Sid. I like the simplicity of it, tho I do find some things are redundant. I have certain skills that I’m not sure are passive or not. Like repair skills. I don’t see any icons pop up for repairs during battle, and if I can’t repair during battle then what’s the point! I lose my ships! I would like to see an expansion on the skill trees. Captain skills, and ship skills. Also one biggie for me is that you can’t change your flagship! Yes you can change ships, if you pause, and scroll... why not allow me to harbor, and set fleet formation? Assign different ships to different tasks? Like defend, attack, scout, stay, etc... I’m speaking as in individual tasks assigned before, and during battle. Yes you can pause, and change some things, but it proves to be clunky and inefficient.

That said, honestly this is just constructive criticisms. I really enjoy the game so far. The prices in the shop for the most part are fair! Which is rare in most games! So I didn’t mind spending a little. The average Joe might only have a dollar or two to spare, and this game accommodates that! Plus there are plenty of freebies to watch to keep you going. If you like this type of game I would recommend it, and perhaps drop a dollar. It’s a cool game, and with the suggestions I made perhaps may become worth 4 or 5 stars.

Oh before I forget! Lol could we please enhance the green circles a bit more? And possibly add more intuitive steering. As it is it’s meh.

So for those looking for a good pirate open world type of game, this is the one, and honestly it’s pretty good. I played it a lot a while back and I decided to reinstall it. Sadly(although I had an account with HNG cloud save) all my progress on my account was wiped for some reason. I even paid for some ships cuz I finished the campaign, but i can’t do much. All in all, if your new and, as I said earlier, need a fun open world pirate game, it’s this one and his has lots too offer, I hope y’all have fun, cuz my open world pirate game is over since I lost everything. To the creators, idk if it’s a bug or something that happened a while back, but if it was, I hope y’all fixed it, and if there is a way for me to be able to restore my progress, please give me something where I can contact you guys. I’d like to at least try to restore it, cuz I spent at least 20 dollars on this game and it would be nice if it didn’t go to waste.

I have had this game for I would like to say 1-2 years now, I have all my captain skills maxed out, all the pirates are killed, and I finished the pirate throne quest line and I’m on to the East Indies trading quest line, I have 3 1st rates, 2nd rates and other cool ships in my fleet, all maxed out, long story short I’m very far in the game, I enjoy it greatly and I have found no other games like it, but it gets boring after a while, for example, my 3 1st rates are behemoths and one salvo could kill anything up to a snow with normal canon balls, but, as with most things, being god can get boring, it’s really the same thing. Go around the map and sell my goods from my forts, maybe capture and sell some ships, then go do a mission, repeat, and I try to explore but it can get boring exploring, especially when you go past so many ships when your clippper ( the fastest ship I’ve found) can’t take them on. But even with the boringness I’ve reached the game was still incredibly fun back when I used to play it constantly, the idea of doing a level thing where you give the player first 3 mast schooners then snows and corvettes and finally man o wars, 2nd rates and first rates while all being open world is amazing to me and is performed well.

The realistic and immersive gameplay this app provides is nothing short of excellent. However, it is not without its issues. Over the span of a week, I had gone from 38,000 coins ( none of which were store bought) to 12,000 coins. This happened not because I had been spending coins, but because the crew payment is ridiculously high. What’s more is, I had only been using one ship to save coins (albeit it was a first rate, so understandably more expensive for crew payment). Before this happened, I had been able to keep up with the ( roughly) 2,400 coin cost for crew payment. I have never delayed payment, so my reputation was outstanding, and yet for some reason, one day the crew cost doubled ( keep in mind, I was still only using one ship) for some reason. I also can’t seem to go anywhere, no matter how close, without getting attacked by patrols or pirates. Still, the realistic sailing experience and interesting plot line are keeping me playing.

This game is awesome because there’s Suga graphics and awesome boats. You can find fun ships you can sail around and attack people and there’s this Wide variety of ships. my only concern is if you could add a multiplayer this would be so much fun you could race around in the ships, but apart from that this game is awesome. The game is cool because you can attack ports and have your port attacked! But I love this game mainly becauseYou can be a. townsman. We can be a pirate. I also like how you can switch flags to British America all the other ports you get to unlock. If you are new and reading my review, don’t take my word for granite this game is awesomeIf you are new and looking for a fun game, this is all without any ads,But a few I love how you can choose between huge ships to small ships if you were looking for a very fun game that you can get sucked into and play for a long while this is such a good game

Get a fast ship in this game and you might survive, I find civilian brigantines be extremely effective in escaping confederacy Pirates. Especially with my thousands of coins worth of cargo, I have also learned that warning do not fix this feature give I have also learned that (DO NOT FIX THIS FEATURE DEVS) if you reset then you get all of your ships back everything that you had but you go back to last port which is extremely useful when you lose a ship that (for me) uses 3000 coins to outfit one fully. It can really help you when you were grinding to get all the coins not to mention I would suggest for it to be a feature to keep, because in earlier stages of the game it can really help you out when you were going up against up to three British military grade Briggs, that will tear your Brigintines hulls to shreds. I hope my pieces of advice will help any new players to this game, Good luck and Godspeed

I was looking for realistic games with sailing ships and I really couldn't find any good games (except for pirates creed which I got bored with.) I found this game and I was almost amazed at how lucky I was to find this game. Really good game with good graphics, realistic sailing, accurate ships, and realistic ammo types. Maybe except for bombs and mortars. Another thing I really like is the different variants between the ships. I also like the attention to detail in first person. One thing that you could fix is to make the boom on the snow class a little bit higher. I would also like it if there weren't as many spontaneous confederacy attacks against you while traveling between ports. Other than that, this is a great game. If you are looking for a good pirate game, this game is a worthwhile download. Trust me, you'll like it. Unless your the developer who's reading this, you'd already know :p.

This is a fun open world game. The sailing is simple, better than ACBF.
Good graphics, beautiful scenery, great sunsets and storms (though there seems to be a lot of storms). The ship selection is vast and the attention to ship details is fantastic, and customization is nice.
Fun ship to ship battles, again simple, but believable and much better than ACBF.
The missions and adventures are just challenging enough to keep the game interesting.
Merchant runs work well at lower levels, but become less useful as the game goes on.
Lost cargo and sunken ships are fun to find and the treasure islands a nice addition.
Building your towns and ports is the best way to advance, and getting gems isn’t impossible, just tedious. I would like to be able to go into the towns and into the ports. Perhaps as an in game purchase.

A few minor complaints, the against the wind mechanics, while true to sea travel, is frustrating and an unnecessary complication. Don’t get rid of it, just make it less. The fleet size needs to increase. And better soundings, “Captain, something on the horizon!” while it gives me something to look forward to, there is a lot of horizon, and a bit futile to look for. It would be better if the lookout would yell “Captain, something to port” or “... to south” it would be more realistic and useful.
One last comparison to ACBF, shanties would be a nice addition.
