Description

The Witcher Interactive Comic Book presents the story of Geralt of Rivia – a profesional monster slayer. Cast magic signs, battle monsters, be entangled in a complex intruige and experience The Witcher's world before you start playing the The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition on Xbox 360 and PC (avialable April 17th).

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition features a thoroughly engrossing, mature storyline that defines a new standard for realistic, non-linear game narration. In addition to an epic story, the game features a complex combat system that uniquely combines deep tactical elements with dynamic action. The new, ultra-modern engine provides both beautiful visuals and sophisticated in-game mechanics, putting players in a world more alive and believable than any ever created in a video game. The depth of the gameplay and the mature, non-linear storyline make The Witcher 2 one of the most complex and unique RPGs ever released on consoles.

atomic_rectum,
Absolutely fantastic with a couple minor gripes
First off, this comic is absolutely stunning. Soundtrack is right from the original game with also very nice ambient effect overlapping the experience. Animations are fun to watch and fun to participate in. Story telling is done well.

The problems I had with it were, well mild are just a little detracting from making this a perfect motion comic. 1) some of the intense pages get a good amount of text which is hard to read and impossible to enjoy the art at the same time, when in other suspenseful pages a 3 word text gets a page halt. 2) drawing signs on the iPhone is a bit more difficult due to the smaller screen.

Overall the comic is free fun and enjoyable. Really, really wanting some more issues. CD Projekt RED does brilliant work.

Top Notch
This is really top notch. It's an excellent addition to the Witcher universe. I really hope they continue releasing these. Heck, I'd LOVE a full Witcher comic series along the lines of what has been done here.

For those having trouble drawing the signs: They do work, you just have to be slow and precise.

The Depth of the Ocean but size of a Puddle
I was super excited to read comics as I am a new Witcher fan. I spent a few minutes and I was fully emerged in the comic and it's story. There was drawing signs such as AARD and Igni (my two favorite signs other than quen) and just enjoying a witcher joyride until I flipped a page and was left with "To be continued..." and I have done my research and found that the game is incomplete with no part 2. I mean you could buy the witcher 2 and get yourself a real book but that's not why I downloaded this app. I downloaded it so I can READ COMICS NOT BUY YOUR GAME.

Summary: If you like reading short stories over and over, download this app.

Verdict: I give donkey kong island a 5/5
Creepercreep,
Amazing
The soundtrack from the game itself flows nicely with the comic, and honestly the only things I found wrong with it was the cliffhanger ending and the drawing signs, which was difficult and detracted from the immersion slightly though I'd like it to be kept in.

Absolutely amazing!
This comic was completely awesome. I rarely rate apps, but I just had to for this one. It is a little short but it definitely packs a punch. The artwork is incredible, the story is superb. And it's free..couldn't ask for anything else.

Great, but tbc
I loved this interactive comic, and pretty much love all-things witcher. However, it is to be continued. I do hope they release a conclusion to the story, rather than leaving it open like this for too long.

Great
Incredible storytelling and incredible artwork. Fans of the books and the games will be thrilled by the quality of this work.
DianeS,
Interesting but not complete
I enjoyed the story as far as it went, but this is just a first installment. The graphics and the layout are quite good,

Minus one star for not saving where we left off. Once you close it, you need to start over.

Abysmal
The story has nothing to do with anything. They claimed it would be could to play before playing witcher 2 yet it has nothing in common with witcher 1. Also it's about 7 minutes to play the whole thing. The first three chapters are about three swipes each. A disgrace to the this series.
Bl1ts,
Love the art style
I played & finished both Witcher games, it's my favorite RPGs game. It's no surprise that I love this animated graphic novel too. I only wish cd project should make more of this.
