Bryce Novy,
Very good BUT
This honestly is I would say the best music theory app out there I do with that between this app “Theory” and “Tenuto” that is would be more helpful in memorizing things like maybe implementing something for practice.

Also I kinda wish “Theory” had a thing in the scales section to learn about pentatonic scales and blues scales. Also to learn to apply concert pitch to different instruments.

Thanks I hope you guys are improving things also honestly this app is extremely good you should honestly have people pay for it so you can have the time to update it and stuff and implement those things.
Clikeer,
Amazing! Just one thing to add
I didn't get into music theory until I got a guitar on a whim, then I wanted to try to actually learn music as a side thing, and now for the first time I feel like I actually know a little something about music.

Only thing I would add to the app is something that you already have on your website (where I learned from, I downloaded the app and it's sister tenuto) is the pop-up piano that helped me figure out scales (I never learned piano so it was easier for me to visualize this way). Otherwise, thanks for you hard work!

Truly Very Nice
I had needed a great music theory app, and this fulfills my need quite perfectly.

The teaching is laid out in a very easy-to-understand format with attractive interactive user-friendly diagrams.

By the end of the first lesson, I felt as if I’d learnt quite a lot. And all without any effort at all. It’s unbelievable!

I already have an excellent practical practice app, in form of playgroundsessions app, that I had bought in a package deal along with a baby grand piano.

But I had found the hands-on playgroundsessions teaching tool to be slightly lacking in deep music theory support.

So I went looking for something to compliment the playgroundsessions hands-on app, and to hence fully round out my musical education.

Now I have one app for hands-on practice, and this one, for in-depth theory learning.

This is great!
mecarboy,
Best app in store for beginner
This app is the best in the store for understanding,y and comprehensively explaining the mechanics and structure of music writing so one can begin understanding sheet music and effectively sight reading piano music. This app saves me huge amounts of "lesson time" and speeds my learning with clear understandable illustrations and very effective drills. Congratulations on a super app.
doormang,
Solid foundation
What can I say, this app is clean and easy on the eyes. Excellent as reference when you forget things, and as a learning tool the way it moves the explanations with visuals and corresponding sounds is very logical, also makes it easy to understand the lessons.
Peoxgx,
Doesn’t have the practice section
I bought this app expecting to get all the features that they offer on their website, like the practice section. However, after buying the app, I found out that this is just the theory section and doesn’t have any of the other tools. It’s a whole different app for that. I wish I could get a refund on this app.
I’ll still buy the tool app since that’s an amazing feature they have on their website.
jakrybear,
Thank you!
I appreciate the time you folks spent making this app! I would understand if you charged for it, but I am so thankful that I was able to use it for free.
Thank you for helping spread this knowledge and make it accessible :)
:Amy:,
Tired Of Confusing Theory Books? Buy this.
Clear and precise music theory explanations. Music Theory has always confused me, but this app's visual design/animation is very helpful along with the material presented. Buy this $3 dollar app! No need to pay for tons of theory books.
Smoothie15,
App is Great!
It’s a wonderful app honestly and truly and helpful as a refresher tool for my Praxis 2 exam coming up. The only problem is I was looking for some examples rather than explanations like they have on the website.
Nain Jaune,
This app is a jewel
I love this app. It is simple in its format but highly effective in conveying this not-so-easy-to-grasp material. It is better than all the music theory books I have read to date! What a nice contribution.
