I was very excited about the app when I first got it, and it has helped me a lot although I have been fighting through bugs the entire time. First the app wouldn’t play the songs, but that’s ok. Next it wouldn’t play any sound at all, including the metronome, but that’s ok to I guess. Now it just continuously crashes every time I try to open. I’ve tried reinstalling server all times and it’s the same. I paid for the pro version and this is what I get.
EDIT just a few days after I posted this review, tonestro put out an update that completely fixed every little problem I was having. Thank you so much, I’m so happy to have this app back working normally. It’s a great, fun way to practice and learn. Keep adding stuff and I’ll keep playing it!

Be careful of the "free trial"
They signed me up for a full year after my trial period was over. I did want to keep it (the app is cool and my son who is learning trumpet has been enjoying it), so I did not cancel, but I wanted to pay monthly, so that my son could decide each month if he wanted to stick with it (he has agreed to pay half the cost). However, they automatically charged me $160 (!!) for a full year and they have ZERO customer service to clear up the problem. It just feels like a sketchy thing to do. I like the app, but now when I use it (I play trumpet too, though I havent tried some the more advanced levels yet), I have a twinge of feeling like I was cheated and made a fool with the "free" trial thing. If you don't want to sign up for the full year, DO NOT get the "free" trial. They seem to have no customer service department or phone numbers to call.

This app will for sure help me in my band classes! I already learned so many new notes and it helps me improve a lot. There’s one small problem, it won’t tell me what I’m doing wrong and I kind of need to know so I can improve from my mistake(s) and I also need tips when playing the trumpet

Good app, but has much more potential
I like the app but there’s a lot of things it can add to make it what I think would be one of the best music apps out there. I feel like It would be much better if it not just told you what you’re doing wrong, but how to fix it as well. I think a fingering chart would be awesome too. These two things make it less useful and a little annoying for beginners and people who have taken long breaks, given that you have to go look up how to fix what it said you’re playing wrong. I also ran into a problem when sometimes the yellow bar over the notes would move faster than the beat. Like I said, the app is good as it is but it could be so much more.

Great tutor
I’m normally a clarinet player but I was thinking about getting a scholarship, so I downloaded this app for the trumpet and literally in a few minutes I was playing full songs. Now as a semi professional I thank this app for helping me come this far.

I was having so much trouble with my pitch and I’ve been working on it for about 2 weeks. Only in my first lesson and I’ve already improved so much!! Definitely recommend! :D

App is a great help, especially in improving timing and pitch. Played trumpet a year or two in high school. Now, at 83, I'm trying to pick it back up for my own enjoyment. So far, I'm only using the free portion but as I hopefully progress I'll consider the premium version.

It’s great but has problems.
It’s a great tool for learning trumpet. I have seen much improvement in my sons playing. HOWEVER, it has trouble recognizing notes and says he misses them. Which leads to making my job harder keeping him motivated and focused because he thinks he’s doing bad.
