- The number of sets in a workout can be adjusted
- Adding a countdown to the exercise timer
- Letting the exercise timer automatically start without you having to press play (this can be disabled)

missing core functionality
EDIT: dont recall how I figured it out, but I did manage to pay and both the interfaces (especially the progression feature) and the instruction quality are excellent… other apps have to pop away from the routine to show a clip or description pf a movement/lift, but this app has everything condensed helpfully so everything ypu need is on screen while ypure exercising. 5 stars, but make subscribing easier lol

ORIGINAL: I may be losing something obvious, but the app gives me no option whatsoever to pay or become a member, but all lessons from the coach I chose are behind a screen that says you must be a member. I want to give my money, but there’s no where I can go to make y’all take it. Also, the “change instructor” button described in the faq on the website simply doesn’t exist in the iOS app. So I can’t even try a different instructor to see if this one is glitched.

Ease of an app + expertise of a private trainer
Pre pandemic; I worked out in a gym with a private trainer. It was great - results were there. Pandemic? Home doing mostly Pilates and light hand weights. 1.5yrs later my fitness goals plateaued - there just wasn’t an app or streaming service hard enough to continue to guide me in building muscle or that set a thoughtful schedule (so i wasn’t over working muscle groups). Then I found this. It’s Pilates, which works great for being indoors or at home - BUT WITH WEIGHTS. Compound movements, and a THOUGHTFUL schedule that blasts some groups on some days and let’s them rest on others. And it’s a 6 week program … not a 30 day or 1 week. It’s REASONABLE in its timeline.

Finally I’m back battling DOMS 😂 and feeling like I’m building strength.

For 20$ a month, this is a literal steal. Worth every penny.

Sweet Community Fitness App!
I’ve been using this app for over a year now and I plan on staying with it for a longgg time! There are so many awesome features about trybe..where do I start?! I love that it keeps me accountable for my workouts. Their “streak” feature has motivated me to work out every single week for an entire year. Putting workouts in are super easy. I noticed a lot of people use CrossFit on trybe, but I’m able to put my running, yoga, and climbing workouts in too. Super versatile! I also love the community aspect of trybe. It’s cool having your own trybe to see what workouts your friends or fellow gym members are doing. I’ll *fistbump* to that!

Unique!
For Sondre Bergs calisthenics programs

I’m intermediate I would say. Have straddle planche/front lever down, just to have a wee bit of cred.

The routines are much more in depth than other calisthenics workouts/apps that just tell you to do 4 sets of 10 of 5 excercises. These routines include stretching, unique (in a very good/productive way) approaches to learning difficult skills, in depth teaching about how to do excercises and where your weaknesses lie, as well as being set up cleanly and efficiently. Much better than other apps/programs I’ve tried. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I spotted Leo Moves on IG and got interested. Doing a few of his posted flows exposed my lack of mobility. So I signed up. I’m just starting but it feels good using my body in this way. It’s challenging to do most of the moves with good form and intensity thru each iteration. I’m looking forward to a hand stand by years end. As a recommendation it would be helpful to get a glimps of the next set during the break time. I find I’m scrambling to get in position to start on time (the missing star). Otherwise an easy to use app. Once I press start I don’t have to do anything but work out. Thanks

Great Fitness Log
I’ve been using Trybe since Jan 2018. It’s a great app and it’s extremely helpful that it keeps track of all your lifts. This is super helpful with progressions.

One thing that would be a nice addition would be a search function for Public Profiles. A lot of times someone will post a cool workout and it would be nice if you could check that users profile for other workouts. Basically, you could see their workout feed. Just a thought.

Great app and if you ever need customer service, it is top notch.

Incredible app!
This app is incredibly well designed. There is a plan to reach any goal, and within each plan are structured workouts each with customizable exercises. You can substitute basically any exercise at any time and choose from a assortment of progressions arranged in a gradient from super easy all the way up to incredibly difficult. I currently use it to develop supplemental calisthenics skills for CrossFit and it has been very helpful.

First workout app with a great community!
Having had injuries and changes in workout style over the last few years, I was desperately seeking advice on how to adjust my workouts. Trybe’s community was perfect. I love going through, checking what the daily CrossFit workouts are and seeing how I’m doing relative to my peers. The app is very easy to use and I’m definitely going to recommend it to friends and family!

Like this app a lot
This is a great app without question. I like being able to see what a few CF boxes have programmed for the day as well as seeing what other app users are doing. Tracking my workouts is really easy. The only thing I'd like to see is the ability to follow or be friends with other app users and more CF box programming added would be awesome as well! That's the only reason I don't give it 5 stars because there is a little room for improvement.

Best exercise app for climbers!
(Great app for those who don’t climb, too.) Anna is also an awesome lady in general. I’ve sent emails to her about some program questions and she personally replied and offered me customized advice on what to do in conjunction with my climbing schedule. I love that each exercise has a demo video and a timer and can go right to the next movement. It keeps me motivated!
