Extensive Editing Tools

This is the best app out there for having the most extensive tools to adjust your video. Closest to a desktop editing program. It's the only one I've found that gives you the ability to adjust the brightness and exposure with slider tools rather than just filters. The only disappointment is when I purchased the full version I was hoping for a full screen or vertical format. This app only allows you to crop the video to a square or a widescreen horizontal format so if you were holding your phone vertically when shooting your video, you loose either the top or the bottom of your video. Needs to allow you to not have to crop your video in order to use the adjustment tools.

Comments for creators

This app is super cool. I enjoy the basic premise of adding audio to the still images and video. Some minor hiccups. The audio does not play in app, only once you export the clip can you hear the audio. All songs that you have purchased in iTunes cannot be used for audio clips because of licensing. Made my own song which was a sweet process instead.

A few suggestions for boasting the apps appeal. I really would love if you can add text to the images or video. Also different transitions from image to video or vice versa, image to image, video to video would really making the creating and finishing process feel seamless. The harsh transition to the next image/clip is very hard on the eyes and does not feel refined nor smooth. Also having this transition fade for text would be pretty dope too.

I hope someone sees this! I'd love to create some cool things with this app! Maybe even a music video 😄

Almost there....

This app is so close to being perfect. I have four complaints. The first is the obvious lack of importing a video in portrait format. This is the suckiest part of the app. The second is it needs a text option. Third is when you have multiple clips, there's no option to play them in one go to check the transitioning, you have to click on individual clips to view them one at a time. Fourth is there are some freezing/black screen/crashing to home screen issues. On the right track. I combine it with the Videoshop app and, although slightly inconvenient, the two compliment each other well. Would like to just be able to use Videohance, though. Please update for portrait style!!!

Great App!

Overall, this is an amazing app for making videos!! Totally worth the $$. There are a few things I think need improving though (to make it PERFECT!).

1. Whenever I try to make videos longer than a minute or two, the app crashes or freezes, making it impossible to create longer videos.
2. When playing clips, I have to click on each individual one. It would be wonderful if they would all play one after the other.
3. It would be nice if there was a grainy vintage effect like the one in the 8mm app.
4. I don't like that there are only two video cropping options (square and horizontal rectangle). It would be so convenient if there was "free crop", so I could crop my videos however I want.

Other than these things, it is an absolutely wonderful app! It allows you to add music, light leaks, adjust the speed of the video clips, & there are plenty of filters to choose from! 10/10

Usable, but some issues.

The app itself does what it says. It has many features and options including many different kinds of filters. From black and white, vibrant to adding grain or color leaks to your video. I like how you can add music of your choice, if you have iTunes or music on your library. The only problems that I have with this app is that when you are done editing and download your video, the final piece has this green tint. If you were to have a black and white video, you will definitely notice the green tint. It doesn’t look the same as you thought it would be. That gets annoying. I hope they fix that. Also copyright problems when putting music, but it’s not the apps fault.

Budding Videographer

Love the app! I would give it a five star rating if it had text options and easier import capabilities. I also love the fact you don't require an update every week like a lot of other video apps. I've deleted a lot of other ones, not because I didn't like them, but because the updates would kick me out of options I'd bought & expect me to buy them again! So you guys are awesome & I can always depend on you to work on any ph & after any updates! Thank You!

Pretty great!

This app is almost flawless because of the editing tools and the ability to edit a video no matter the length. Most video creating apps put a clip on how long your video can be but not Videohance! I do agree with the one minor complaint other reviewers have on only being to load your video horizontal or vertical but that's pretty minor when you see how great the editing tools are. I like this one a lot and I think you will too!

AMAZING

it's super annoying on instagram how you can apply filters to videos, but you can't edit them! also i don't want to upload a video to my laptop just to use imovie with the editing tools becuse the iphone i movie doesn't have it. this app solves that and has extensive additions that make it super fun to experiment with and make your videos look super professional! overall i love it so much!!!

Needs stability

I love this app except when exporting ... Normally it takes at least two tries - it ALWAYS crashes. Right now I have a video that in the middle of it now ten times it just stops export half way thru and I get half of the video rendered as if finished. No app support. Developer Website doesn't have any links to get support or report issues so have to do it this way. Fix stability on export and I will raise the star rating because I love it except for this!

Broken App :-(

I’ve been using Videohance for two years and I’d never had any problem up until recently, besides small things like audio not playing at the same time it was during the editing stage versus when you save it. But now for no apparent reason, it doesn’t sync with my photo gallery so I can no longer use video/pictures already taken. The app is practically useless as of now and that makes me really upset, it worked so well for awhile. I’d really like to get in contact with someone to get this fixed.
