We added the new "store view" which allows anyone to purchase all our offered music directly from our website via in-app purchases. Very helpful
The reason I did not give the app ***** is because the MP3 AUDIO is poor quality. I am playing back the music for solo cello. The sound is synthesized rather than played on a real instrument. I realize that this is a tall order to have genuine instruments. But I assume that you may have access to a higher quality synthesizer.

Not Good
Steer Clear of this sheet music app. First: The app and the website work differently, so you’re not getting what you think you are getting. As a member, If you try to order from the app you will pay full price (for some pieces), but that is not made clear. Deceptive. Personally I do not like to be deceived.
However, in my case when I inquired about this, I received sarcastic, smarmy, and condescending responses from Customer Service. Never had that experience before. Apparently they don’t feel the need to treat their customers with respect. Another reason I don’t recommend this app. I even tried to stop my membership — “not possible.”
Also, the music isn’t that great. The library is deceptively advertised in that they simply have multitudes of arrangements for the same piece. I don’t need 17 different instrumentations of Ode to Joy…
Don’t waste your money.

TERRIBLE!
Do not get this app! It worked briefly - then it highjacked my camera and would not let me escape. Each time I opened the app and clicked on a score, the camera opens and all I can see is me and it will not allow me to escape from that.
After numerous frustrating attempts to get past the camera I gave up and tried to cancel my subscription and I was basically talking to the hand. Twice I was told that if I wanted a refund I would have to contact the App Store from which I purchased it.
I repeat, do not get this app - there are many others that do not that are much better and with much better customer service.

Vey nice application
First, i installed the application in my iphone 2g 8gb 3.0 and it didn't work. It only showed the welcome windows and then exists.
Then i installed it in my ipod touch 1g 16gb 3.1.2 and it worked just fine... no problems so far.
I really liked the interface, is very friendly and neat.
I found out that whne you are not connected to internet , the 'NOT CONNECTED' windows has no exit option,,, not a big problem because you can exit hitting the 'HOME' button of the iPod.
Sometimes, it tells you that you are not connected to internet, even though you are, i exit the app and browse a little bit, the i rerun the app, and it works just fine.
Congratulations... This application majes the iPod and the iPhone a more valuable device... :)

Useful App Works Fine for Me
Their website sells music but it is very useful to cheapskates like me for both the free sheet music and the collection of MP3's of almost every classical piece. When I am trying to learn a piece of music it is nice to be able to quickly get a sense of what it should sound like and their site is a reliabe source for free classical MP3's.
The app does the same thing. If you want to quickly find and hear a piece of classical music then you can find it in a few clicks on this app. If you want it can email you a link to purchase the sheet music from their web site. I think it is a useful free tool for musicians as you now have a portable way to search and play the MP3's from their site.
I did not experience any crashes and I have used the app about 10 times.

Virtual Sheet Music
Great app! Despite some earlier reviews that indicate a problem, I have found the application to be stable and useful. It is particularly nice to be able to listen to new music when trying to decide the next piece I want to learn to play, or to locate the name of a piece that has slipped from memory. A few tweaks in the future would be nice (such as the ability to narrow a search to particular instruments) but this is a very useful program as it stands and is impressive for a 1.0 version, and should only get more refined as future releases are made. However, it is also great in its current state and even the wider search has been OK because it has let me listen to some music that I might not have previewed in a narrowed down search.

This app augments the VSM website nicely. I really like the 'recent additions' view since I find checking it pretty handy. It would be cool if the app showed a number flag on the app icon indicating new additions since I last looked.
I found browsing and previewig worked well. It will also send a 'reminder' to a supplied email with a link to get music you mark while browsing. Very handy.
It would be really cool if, for us full VSM subscribers, it would actually send a request to package up the stuff, and email it to the email on file. That way it would be easier to get music while on the go. Maybe in version 2.
All and all defintely a 'must have' if you are a VSM member and pretty darn handy even if you are not.
